Name: Baroness Raulyn Hawkshaw Magrath
Race: Human
Age: 36
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 153lbs
Birth place: Jaemus; Balgotti Hamlet; Magrath Plantation
Appearance:
As many of the Magrath women have been called stunning before; Raulyn is no different. Her skin is the second most gardener of compliments, due to its natural alabaster appearance. This is merely the result of her constantly being kept in doors during the day; or sequestered beneath a large umbrella when walking out in the sunlight which she still does if she walks about town. Due to this it has become a point of pride for Raulyn who goes out of her way to ensure that her skin is always covered by some form of skin protection or she is escorted under an umbrella at all times.
The most striking anatomical point of her appearance are her bright yellow eyes. While many do comment on them, not many understand that her eyes are naturally yellow and not a contacts lens like others have suspected. This is due in part to a naturally occurring pigment called Lipochrome which often causes the yellow, gold like and copper tones in amber eyes. Raulyn on the other hand has larger amounts of Lipochrome present in her iris which causes the natural and stunning shade of yellow.
As a means to further bring attention to herself, and working with the her natural eye color; Raulyn uses heavy black eyeliner and eyeshadow to create a stunning effect. The black eyeliner and eyeshadow create the appearance of a dark night where her vibrant yellow eyes serve as the moons. To further the attention she uses a soft shade of pink eyeshadow just around the edges of the black eyeshadow to garner more attention be pulled to her eyes.
To further her vain appearance; Raulyn was given fiery red hair which she often curls and then ties up. This look exposes her face and defined jawline, as well as her neck, while also giving the appearance that she is carrying a raging fire upon her head. Wrapping it all up is the use of a deep magenta lipstick which purses her lips out more and gives them a fuller look; while she adds just a hint of rouge to her cheeks to give her the appearance of a blushing young woman.
Clothing for Raulyn is rather formal and at times risky when she wants it. She can normally be seen wearing a special sleeved lace choker. The garment covers her entire neck more like a turtleneck would, with small fasteners in the front to remove the garment. From her neck the garment is shaped to roll over her shoulders and cover them before encasing her full arms length in a sheer lace. This lace sleeve flares out at her wrist with large beautiful cuffs that keep her hands free.
The choker itself leaves her upper back and her upper chest exposed, which to Raulyn is perfect. This is due to the gown that she is normally seen wearing. The black and purple ball like gown holds a built in corset which serves to both draw attention to and enhance the cleavage of her already well shaped bosom. The gown itself flares out greatly from her waist where the corset stops. With the size and appearances of the flared out gown gives her the added appearance as if she were walking on air.
However on those days when Raulyn is feeling a bit more risky in her desires and needs; she has taken to wearing a dress of a completely different style. This dress is a sheen black lace dress which exposes a great deal of her skin. The only solid points on the dress are the areas immediately over her bosom, along her stomach, covering her genitals and wrapping around her hips to cover her posterior. This dress is worn whenever Raulyn feels a need to draw attention to her herself or to distract those that she is attempting to made a trading deal to.
To wrap up her entire ensemble, Raulyn wears a pair of silver earrings which are formed in the shape of a forearm. The forearms in turn end at a pair of skeletal like hands which appear to be holding two enclosed black orbs. The rumor being that in the two orbs are compartments which each hold some sort of 'trophy' from each of her family members.
Personality:
She is like fire in her spirit; her courage and anger that seem to be matched by no other. She stands defiant against those that would say she can not, or she should not. Raulyn remains steadfast in her beliefs, seeing that if the Galaxy is to truly thrive and survive it needs strong leadership; the leadership of humans. This has driven her her whole life as she viewed alien species to be inferior to humans. Her mind developing a humanocentric thought and sense of duty. To her it is every human's right and duty to place themselves higher than the aliens who she sees as parasites to the galaxy, good for nothing more than menial labor.
However this humanocentric view seems to extend only so far as to a certain species, not all alien species. It is known that her closest friend and confidant is Oma, a female Mon Calamarian that earned the respect and friendship of Raulyn for her steadfast commitment and constantly being at her side even in Oma's days as a slave. While Raulyn does hold a firm belief that it should be humans to always rule the Galaxy and shape it as they see fit, she also holds that those alien species that can prove themselves worthy should be used by Humans as equals and worked with to better the galaxy; while those other alien species that can not prove themselves worthy should be treated as nothing less than slaves.
To her own family she is like ice, which is even saying something for a Magrath. Raulyn has held no illusion to her desire to rule the Magrath family and even orchestrated the institutionalization of her oldest brother, the next male heir in line; an action which resulted in her only surviving brother's fear of her and placing Raulyn as the matriarch of the Magrath family. She has shown time and time again that even her own family members are nothing more than tools for her to use.
For that is how she sees sentient beings, as tools to further her own desires and goals. This extends only so far, however she often sees her immediate family members more as pieces on a chess board which to her has more value than a simple tool. In this weird way she shows some concern and love towards her family members as she treats them with more care and respect than she would a simple tool.
It was this cunning, couple with her seductive looks and appeal that convinced her husband to adopted her name rather than keeping his. This same seductivity and cunning that saw her succeed in formulating the arranged marriages of her son and daughter, as well as her younger sister to wealthy families with single heirs to further the Magrath hold on Jaemus and continue to grow the families power base and holdings on the planet.
For all her pluses she has had her own downsides as well. Often she is so enamored with the big picture and the overall progress and thoughts of success that she forgets the subtle nuances and actions of the smaller pictures. To this end it is easy for her to forget to live in the now rather than living in the future and looking forward too far beyond her view.
This in itself has in the past caused her to lose sight of the here and now, and in turn lose focus on her goal when an unexpected result appeared. While she has come to realize her mistakes and has begun to slowly change, she still has a difficulty not looking towards a larger picture when focusing on a smaller image is needed.

The Magrath Family History
Considered one of the oldest human families on the planet Jaemus, the Magraths were able to prove that they were among some of the first colonist to arrive on the planet. It was during this time that this first generation of Jaemus Magraths began to stockpile their wealth. They would accomplish this through shrewd trading with the other local colonist. This meant that nothing was off the table when it came to a negotiation and it was even documented that the Magraths bartered with their sons and daughters are merely another tool to use in these proceedings.
It was well known that even the children of the Magraths had their own cunning minds. This was seen in a recovered diary of a young woman who was married off for the deed to a substantial parcel of land.
Date: [Illegible]
“I was put on the bargaining table today by my father as a means to get a hold of a vast tract of land that he had his eye on for quite some time. The young man I am to marry is not as sharp as some of the other gentlemen that I’ve run across; though this just means that he’ll be all the more easier to use to further my families own name. I’ve already been able to convince him to even take on the Magrath name and to give up that silly last name of Starwatcher. It’s for the best as this means that we’ll no longer have any kind of trouble from that family since after all I am marrying their only son.”
Deals and trades such as this were nothing more than another tool in a very large chest of tricks that the Magraths employed. Among them also being the use of assassins, kidnaping rival family members, along with blackmailing and extortion to get what they want. This would all culminate in the Magraths owning most of the land around the Magrath Plantation. With so much land and so little family members to work on it, they began to hire slavers to bring them the needed slaves.
In time the Magraths would ensure that they remained entrenched on the planet Jaemus. To this end they continued their deals with newer colonists that arrived, as well as striking deals with more prominent families and humans that were passing through the starport.
