Tem sighed slightly as he walked the halls of the Jedi Temple, through his goggles he could see the beauty of the Temple and could feel the history of the halls. How younglings had walked these paths for centuries, growing into Jedi knights and even Jedi masters, how no matter what species they were, or from where they had been born, they all called this Temple home. The thought made him slightly sad though, his Master once called these halls home, but it was doubtful he would ever walk them again. He frowned slightly as he thought of his former Master, the Khil Jedi that had been his father figure ever since coming to this Temple as a child.
Tem shook his head and cleared his thoughts of his former master, instead focusing on the many beings that populated the Temple currently. Younglings ran from place to place trying to keep up with their friends, knights and padawans walked and discussed the tenants of the Jedi Code, it was all refreshing, though slightly overwhelming to the half-Miraluka's senses. It was times like these he missed the grassy plains of Dantooine, it's calm atmosphere was much different from the bustling planet city that was Coruscant. The Jedi knight had never been able to completely rid himself of the pesky headaches that the planet brought to his senses.
Tem stopped walking and shut his eyes as a particularly bad headache began to make it's presence known. He placed his palm on his forehead and steadied himself by placing his other hand against the wall to hold up his weight when he heard someone ask if he was alright. The towering Jedi turned and opened his eyes again, looking down at a mess of red hair. "Yes, just a headache." He spoke to the tiny frame in front of him.

Losing someone is a strange experience. One, that until very recently Emmi hadn't dealt with. At firs it was hard, she would spend as much time alone as she could get. Or, from strangers at least. She found comfort in Felix’s company and in caring for him. His problems were a wonderful distraction from her own feelings. She would drop by his room to make sure he ate and was feeling alright. When she was alone, though, she would have nothing left to distract herself from thinking about it. Eventually the only thing she could do was think about it. At night she would stare at the ceiling and try to make sense of her master’s death. With time the questions of ‘why’ and all the what if’s she could think of, left her mind. Death was a natural part of life, and as painful as it was she knew that the only thing she could do was accept it. It became easier to do normal things like walk around the temple.
Seeing other Jedi around the temple wasn’t as stressful as it had once been. Perhaps they had forgotten the loss already. When she left her room Emmi no longer felt watched. More, she felt better. The walks she would take weren’t a chore but was a time for her to interact with others at the temple. Like the run in she had with Master Teer Ka not long ago. Despite the confrontation they had had Emmi still felt slightly intimidated by the woman, though not for the same reasons as before. At least the terror that accompanied Master Ka was gone.
The halls of the temple were busy today. They were full of knights and younglings alike. Emmi’s eyes were always drawn to the younger Jedi who would walk and laugh with one another. It felt good to see others so happy, their happiness was contagious and brought a smile to her own face. However, something did draw her attention away from people watching. Someone not but a few meters in front of her had an expression of discomfort. She stared at him, trying to gauge what might be wrong. His hand went to his head while the other braced his weight against the wall. Before Emmi could consciously think of what to do her legs carried her forward towards him. With several steps she was beside him. He was far taller than she was so she had to look up to meet his covered face. “Are you alright?” she asked gently. “Can I help you?” “Yes, just a headache.” Emmi’s brow furrowed. “It looks like more than a headache… you can’t stand. Maybe you should sit down,” she offered.

Tem took his hand away from his goggles and looked down to the fiery brown and red haired padawan. He managed a smile before speaking, "No, no. No need to sit. I'll be fine." He chuckled slightly, "It's just that the busyness of Coruscant gets to me from time to time." Tem stood at full height now, looking down at the girl. "It's just a little overwhelming..."
Tem couldn't help but feel a presence behind him, another padawan perhaps. “Excuse me… m’dear friends. I couldn’t help but feel you’re distraught. Are you both alright?” The Jedi Sentinel wondered how much of a scene he was making as he turned around to look at her, only to stumble slightly. "No, I'm fine. I'm fine. Just a little off my balance is all.." He spoke, seeing a Zeltron with Almond hair before him, seeming to be an older padawan. "Just need to see the healers..." Tem smiled just as another wave of pain washed over his mind making him near stumble again.
"Uhg..." The Miralukan moaned as he reached out for the wall again, using it to support his six plus foot frame. His hand went back to his forehead as he fell toward the wall, banging his goggles on the wall. "Well...Now I've done it..." He spoke into the blackness he could now see as his goggles went out.
"I may need some assistance to reach the workshop...It appears my goggles have shorted out." Tem frowned.
