Hey all, it's the lovely Squee here.

So, I'm wanting to go to comic-con this year when it comes into town and I'm finding that I may need a little more money to go. So I asked the admins that, if I decided to, would it be okay that I opened commissions of artwork to SWU people. They said they didn't mind, so, no worries... I'm legal.

I haven't fully decided yet, and really just want to get a general idea about how people felt or how many would be interested and how many times. My biggest issue would be time. My biggest break is happening during spring break, so I'm considering on opening commissions for that week.

Otherwise, I'm a full time student in a science heavy major with 17 credit hours this semester. For those who don't know what that means, it means I'm really, really, REALLY busy most of the time (hence why there aren't a lot of posts from me).

I would not charge much, since I don't plan on doing anything that will take me more than a couple to four hours in the least. I take my shading rather seriously. The most I'd ask for a piece is 14 (for a single character), and that's for something more than a sketch (more like 6). I put them below.

I'm determining how to be paid (via interwebz, of course), and then also, if anyone were comfortable, I'm even considering the option of mailing the commissioner the original drawing so they can have it physically in their hands and such. Why this? Because my drawings, because they're done in graphite on paper, look MUCH better IRL than they do in camera picture form and on the scanner.

However, I'm also investigating the uses of photoshop to touch the drawing up if I were to scan them. Maybe even make some pretty backgrounds. I dunno. So, there's a mini poll in the poll.

So... vote, comment, please let me know what you think. I can maybe whip up some examples of the Sketch and Shaded body if everyone feels a need for me to do that.

This sounds awesome! I'd be interested in commissioning some character sketches, perhaps two or three, if you opened commissions up!

I'd have some questions about payment though. I assume you'd be using paypal, something that may require a little work on my part as I've had trouble with account details before but nevertheless, totally for this! :3

Yeah... something like that, which is sort of the pain, I know. But... I don't know very many other ways. It's not like I can just fly to England for the exchange.

Though I'm sure that trip would turn out more fun than simply that, lol.

All right. Due to some interest expressed mostly outside of SWU, I've decided I'll take on a few commissions for my Spring Break, which begins March 8 and runs through March 10, 10 being when I get back into school.

I will have to set up a paypal, or some of that kind of jazz, and once I figure that out, I will be able to give whatever details you, the commissioner, requires. Since my cousin (who I am visiting for Spring Break) is an artist, she might have a way for me to put the commissions up digitally. In fact, after messaging her, she said she would show me how to work photoshop a little, so, that will be very nice. :3

Still not sure about actually mailing the product, however. Still considering it.

You guys can contact me any way you want, those of you looking to commission. Here, PM, or skype. PMs might be best, since they're a little more private and the information about the character/person/design you're commissioning me for will be in a stable location for me to check.

That's another thing: I had someone else ask me if I would draw they're tattoo design. I have done so a couple of times in the past and if you'd like me to give it a sketch, I can do it.

Sometimes I like to take pictures of sketches to make sure I have special details properly in place. These will be rather horrible looking from a terrible camera, but the point would be to show you how the drawing looks thus far and to ensure I'm not missing something you want/need to see in the drawing.
