This is Rolm reporting for INN.
After the Battle of Ordo came to a close and reports hit the news of co-operation between the Mandalorians and the Sith Empire, there was a lot of uncertainty about how the group known as the Blades, and the Republic, would react. These questions were answered quite recently however as the commander of the Blades, Jedi Lord Vreem Took, publicly threw his support behind the fight against the Mandalorians after this apparent alliance was exposed.
And the Blades and the Republic have been quick to make their move. Not long after Ordo and the Mandalorians virtually imprisoned there had been freed, the Republic forces announced that Mandalore the Liberator had been killed.
It has been revealed that not long after the battle, Republic Admiral Yulen led a small fleet and ambushed Mandalore the Liberator whilst he was in the company of only a handful of ships. After refusing to surrender to the Republic fleet, and attacking the much larger force, the leader of the Mandalorian war effort was declared dead a few hours later.
But even the loss of another of their leaders is not enough to deter the efforts of these unfairly treated people. A new leader has stepped up, taking the title of Mandalore the Reclaimer. Not much is known about this new Mandalore, but we will bring you more news of her efforts in the coming weeks.
Rolm, INN, signing off.
