Faction: Mandalorian
Department: Special Forces
Rank: Sergeant First Class
Name: Gon Elmek
Race: Human(Mandalorian)
Age: 28
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 190 Lbs
Birth place: Mandalore
Appearance:
Gon is not exactly the tallest person in the galaxy, no, although he is still slightly above average height for a human. Standing in at 6’2” you’ll probably see him towering over common folk by a couple of inches. The man is built for combat that’s for sure, weighing at 190 lbs of mean mandalorian muscle, he is the kind of guy you do not want to get in a bar fight with.
Underneath the black and red armor lays a battle hardened man with one scars too many, especially on his torso and arms where several small scars can be seen, both from battles and from his training years. One of his most prominent scars is one at the side of his left eyebrow, it isn't big but it is noticeable if you catch him without his helmet. As for his armor, it is a common mandalorian Battle Armor painted in black and red; nothing special about it save for the scratches and dents present all around the plating from various battles, he likes to think that every damaged bit helps him be more careful for one day that armor might be replaced by his flesh.
He keeps his blonde hair at a shoulder's length, something that most soldiers would frown upon; but it isn't really a liability for him as he simply puts it in a ponytail whenever he is on duty, one of the perks of it is helping him blend in...although that is sort of useless because pretty much everybody can recognize a suit of Mandalorian armor.
Personality:
Gon may come off as cold to most people who don't know him, but in reality he is a pretty friendly man, at least for Mandalorian standards that is; he won't start a fight unless it is absolutely necessary and he would rather avoid harming or killing innocents like kids, no, it is much better to integrate them into their ranks and teach them their culture.
He is an avid follower of the Resol'nare as most of his kin and he can get rather aggressive whenever someone may question his dedication to it or his job as a soldier, indeed, the man could be considered a workaholic in the sense that he takes his job rather seriously and spends most of his time on it with the rest being spent with his daughter, some could say that the military is his way of mourning for the death of his wife. He is loyal to the people that are close to him and more importantly, he is extremely loyal to the Mandalore and will follow her to the end as it is expected from any and all Mandalorians although he doesn't feel like it is an obligation but rather a privilege. He is overly protective of his daughter and will kill anybody that threatens her for she means the world to him.
He isn't a talkative man, liking his actions to speak louder than his words although he is a good listener and if one ever needs to let out any pent up rants or feelings he is the kind of guy to go to, just don't expect him to reply back a lot.

Bio: Gon was born in Mandalore to a single mother, his father being killed by Republic Forces short before he was born. His mother put extreme emphasis on his survival training in the hopes that her son would be much more careful than her late husband who had been foolish enough not to make sure all the enemy troopers were dead before letting his guard down, and thus Gon was raised as a cautious man; he didn't want to share the same fate as his father after all. Unlike most people would, he didn't really resent the Republic for taking the life of his father, no, in fact he made sure to turn that bitter memory into something useful; the realization that you must never underestimate your opponent or else you may find an end to your life.
Gon wasn't that good at fighting with blades or any melee weapons for that matter, he was always at home with a rifle on his hands though or alternately with empty hands punching the lights out of anybody foolish enough to mess with him, that was evident during the Verd'goten when he excelled with his hand to hand skills but almost failed due to his melee weapon technique. Now considered a man by the standards of his people, Gon decided that a little traveling would be the best thing for him, to know the galaxy and attain some glory in the process. He lacked credits though, and so he found himself in the need of other means to gain credits or gain passage off-world; the answer came in the form of a band of smugglers that were recruiting people into their crew. Gon enlisted with them and left Mandalore aboard the Salvation, it was a rather small freighter but it was enough; the ship traveled from world to world for a while, trading spices and other goods to native communities and taking some more aliens and humans into the crew in the process. It was all good until they reached Geonosis...
Arriving to Geonosis' orbit, the Salvation suffered an engine problem that sent it pummeling down to the planet's surface after accidentally gazing a small asteroid. While most of the crew survived the landing, with only about three or so from the twenty that made up the group, the ship was a wreck and they lacked the parts to repair it; even worse, shortly after the crash they were taken prisoners by the Geonosians in the area, being forced to participate in a gladiatorial game. It was fairly easy, whoever managed to kill the arena's local top beast would win his or her freedom, unfortunately for them this beast was a Geonosian Hydra. After a grueling match with the beast, only three people or so remained, Gon included, but it wasn't over yet, oh no. After the mighty beast was slain the Geonosians decided to add a little twist, the remaining gladiators had to fight to the death; it was during that gruesome day that Gon first took the life of another man, the day he became a full-fledged warrior and the day that he regained his freedom at the cost of his friends.
The young Mandalorian was able to escape the arid planet aboard yet another freighter that led him into the very core of the Republic, it wasn't exactly the best place to be but he didn't have much of a choice, it was that or remaining on Geonosis and he was certainly not going to do such thing. The mandalorian found himself performing odd jobs during his stay on the metropolis planet known as Coruscant, ranging from bodyguarding to finding missing people, it was a necessary pain in order to gain enough credits to head back home. It was during this time that he met her, it was then that he met Vaan Auril. She was just lovely and was pretty nice to the eye as well; when he first met her Gon pretty much forgot about his plans to return to Mandalore, indeed, the young warrior had fallen head over heels for the Republic girl and it seemed that she was smitten with him as well.
They spent some time together, living in a small apartment and amassing credits together in the hopes of starting a new life somewhere else, away from the Republic and away from the Sith and Mandalorians. This was postponed by the news of the rise of a new Mandalore, while he wanted to start a life with the woman he loved he had his duty as a Mandalorian to help his leader. He was also greeted with the news that he would be a father; it was conflicting for him, knowing that Vaan would probably not want to raise their children as Mandalorians do but he put his worries aside, content with the news that he would be a father. Those nine months flew by way too fast and soon the day of the birth dawned upon them; it was probably the happiest day for Gon, holding his newborn daughter for the first time but it was also one of the saddest if not the saddest for he lost his wife due to birth complications. After this unfortunate and tragic event happened, his decision to return to Mandalore was pretty much undisputed, there was nothing to hold him to Coruscant anymore, only painful memories.
After arriving back to Mandalore he knew that he needed something to focus on, lest he remember his wife and fall into a depression and he figured that the military would be the answer; he would take his anger and pain out unto the enemies of his people and serve the Mandalore at the same time. He applied for special forces, wanting to improve upon his combat skills and be among the best of the best and most importantly, he wanted to be useful to his people. He was able to join and has been on duty ever since due to the rising hostilities between the Republic and Mandalorians, forcing him to leave his daughter under the care of his mother while he does this; he just hopes that his daughter won't have to grow up without her parents.

Silence. Unperturbed silence. Something was wrong and Gon could see that even before stepping out of the bar he had been spent his afternoon at; most of the time the street was booming with activity, the pedestrians going back and forth as they managed to live their lives as usual, their dull and monotone lives. He sometimes pitied the people of the Republic, they were so... boring, their lives lacked any form of excitement besides the occasional thrill of winning the lottery or finding a card worth a couple hundred credits, no such thing as the events that a man like himself was used to, like having hungry man-eating beasts trying to devour him or dueling with an enemy in search for glory.
But tonight the street was different, devoid of any person as if they had just magically banished; the perfect scenario for somebody to beat up an unfortunate man as he makes his way back home after a drunken adventure, unfortunately for the gang members that currently sat awaiting in the shadows, Gon was neither drunk nor unfortunate. The Mandalorian's green eyes scanned the background, noticing two familiar outlines, one belonging to a Rodian, armed with a pipe or so it seemed while the second was a Trandoshan, the alien was unarmed but he was the most dangerous of the two. Stepping out of the establishment, Gon took a couple of slow steps towards the middle of the street, keeping his hands tucked inside his pockets as he did so.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" The Trandoshan spoke with a grin on his face, coming out of the shadows with his arms crossed, trying to look much more imposing that he was. "It looks like there's somebody passing through our road without paying the fee!" The Rodian replied as he stopped next to his partner in crime to better look at the man they were about to "charge" for passing through. "If you want to pass through here you must pay, meat." The Rodian spoke again, extending his open hand in order for Gon to give him some credits; he was perfectly sure that the man would be paying, not many people would want to risk fighting a Trandoshan after all.
"And why would I pay you, gentlemen? I was under the assumption this was a public road." Gon replied calmly, his hands still inside his pockets; he didn't want to fight them but if they continued to pester him he would. "Why? because we will break your legs like twigs if you don't! Now pay." The Trandoshan asked, cracking his knuckles as if to add emphasis to his threat, Gon couldn't help but to raise his eyebrow in surprise. "I don't think that will be happening, but I advise that you leave right now and never come back. He wasn't really up for fighting right now, he just wanted to go home with his wife and call it a day but it was obvious that the pair didn't think the same as they simply burst out laughing as a response to his words. "Alright meat, time to know the definition of pain!" The Rodian jeered, preparing his pipe while the Trandoshan took a step forward. "Ib'tuur jatne tuur ash'ad kyr'amur. ("Today is a good day for someone else to die.") He smirked, waiting for their move; this was going to be fun.
