Name: Valisilwen Sadronniel
Race: Near Human – Morganian, Zelosian, Theelin [1/8]
Age: 24
Height: 5’4’’
Weight:
Appearance:
From her morganian heritage, Valisilwen takes away a beautiful, though almost felinoid appearance. Her ears are daintily pointed, but no larger than a normal human’s ear. Thanks to both lineages, Valis’ skin is quite pale – her mother white-skinned and her father who had fair-skin. She has wide, round eyes, a shape taken from her mother. They are an emerald green in color, evidence of her zelosian line, though not quite as bright as some of her pureblood kin. Her face has a gentle, youthful shape, but reddish-orange freckles dust down her cheeks. The freckles spot her long neck and rest upon shoulders and arms both. Naturally, the young woman boasts very dark hair, as evidence by her eyebrows. She favors a short, thickly fringy cut, since she can’t be bothered to maintain a long style.
Average in stature, Valisilwen does sport the slender frame of her morganian mother. Athletic, what muscle development she possesses is obtained through training and infrequent workouts as a Guardian. She clothes this body in a generic Jedi robe cut, though Valis does prefer lighter colors to her robes. For mission and career purposes, she owns a set of light armor that encases vital areas and allows for as much maneuverability as possible. When and if she can, however, Valis does try to tackle assignments in normal garb, to hinder her movement as little as possible.
The young woman does have a preference for dying her hair silver or white. She likes the lightness of the color. She feels it expresses a brightness in her appearance, making her seem more friendly. Though most of her hair is in a fringe cut, Valis has two braids on either side of her head made from longer sections of hair. If someone asks what they’re for, she’ll merely shrug and say she likes it like that. Also, done on a whim, one ear is pierced with both a stud and small loop earring.
One last genetic trait from her zelosian side, Valisilwen finds it extremely difficult to see in dim lighting and in darkness.
Personality:
‘Impulsive’ would be the first word used by Valis’ former Master to sum up the girl. When Valis gets a whim of something, particularly of something relatively harmless, she isn’t afraid to get her toes wet. It is why she dyed her hair. It is why she obtained earrings. It is why one may catch her skipping through the halls of the Temple instead of walking like a normal person. Occasionally, however, she is prone to reckless impulsiveness, sometimes endangering herself, but usually within good reason.
‘Sweet’ is the word her friends would call her. They know of Valisilwen’s easy temperament and ability to shower with love. She has a ready, friendly smile that rarely falters and a giggle her friends used to enjoy tickling out of the woman. She has a gentle heart and a quick will to trust that leaves her vulnerable to being easily wounded by fellow Jedi.
‘Brave’ might be the word her younger, still Padawan friends use to describe the gentle woman. She’s very sturdy and very dependent if and when things become critical, seeming to have never known fear. In fact, though, Valisilwen has a strong sense of curiosity which, combined with her instincts, faith, and impulsive tendencies, creates her courageous spirit.
‘Perceptive’ some Jedi might call the young woman. By some of the things she says may cause others to question if there’s something she sees that they don’t. Valis has a natural ability to place herself in another’s position, to feel what they feel, and to see the world through their eyes. She strives to speak directly to the person’s experiences, to express a level of understanding they might not have encountered in a person before.
‘Optimistic’ is the word Valis uses to describe herself. Consistently, the Jedi exudes happiness and light-heartedness, as if nothing weighs her down. Everywhere she looks, she sees the Force, and she sees the light side. She recognizes the inner light in everyone, and places her total trust and faith into the light side. She treasures its warmth and goodness, believing wholeheartedly that, come what may to the galaxy, the light shall triumph. Life triumphs over death. Joy holds victory over despair. Peace perseveres over turmoil.
‘Naïve’, her master’s oldest friend, whom she associates with, might call her. Valis has had no true encounter with evil, has not contacted full, utter darkness in her life. She believes in goodness because her foundation has not been shaken, no chance to be in doubt and persevere through a storm with beliefs intact. If she goes seeking to quell darkness, they fear her spirit and faith will be crushed. Yet at the same time, maybe the girl should learn everything does not have a pleasant ending with smiles and roses, and that is why they need to proceed with caution as well as with the Force. However, Valis elects to disregard her former master and his friends’ beliefs and doubts.

Bio:
“It started as a whisper; And that was when I kissed her…”
Being pregnant was one of the worst things Amerie had ever experienced, if not the worst. She had broken her shin once before and she had thought that was the worst thing she ever experienced. But no… growing large, unable to see where she put her feet, the sickness, the swollen ankles, the achy and tired feeling, the “poor dear” looks from women who were either grandmothers or had kids hanging onto their shirts… It was purely awful.
This wasn’t to say she did not want Keris Gallerian’s child. Amerie Sadronniel wanted the baby out already. The birth was no miracle either, amounting as far as emergency surgery to save mother and baby.
Despite harrowing circumstances, the baby was delivered and announced healthy, though doctors wanted to run some more thorough tests to be sure her Theelin bloodline wasn’t hiding dangerous mutations. Test results on the midichlorian count came back high, an eager nurse told a very tired Amerie that her baby had the potential to be a Jedi. Amerie asked the nurse that they not contact the Jedi just yet; she wanted to wait and see what the baby’s father said. She named the baby in the time being, Valisilwen – a pretty name for such a pretty baby. After a few days of tests, and no immediate danger found to the baby, Amerie and her daughter were released to go home.
Amerie sent a message to Keris, and then spent the next weeks finding meager sleep while trying to work from home. As a civilian employee for Garang’s largest law enforcement department not known for its generous amounts of leave and vacation, Amerie only hoped Keris would return to help her make a decision about what to do with the baby. And if the baby was to be delivered to the Jedi, she didn’t want to be with the child long, fearing it would only deepen the heartache. Her daughter had the most adorable ears and nose, and beautiful wide eyes…
Before the month was out, Keris returned from his mission to visit Amerie and to see his child. Amerie refused to let Keris hold the child at first, making him remove his lightsaber from his belt before she handed the baby over. The zelosian man cooed over his daughter with a smile, only to sit down solemnly when Amerie told him the midichlorian results. Yes, he could sense the Force pulsing strong within his daughter…
Keris had hoped his baby’s count would be low enough to remain at home, to avoid the knocks of the Jedi. While Amerie could still keep Valis with her, it would require the couple to change their minds on a previous decision. However, both parents believed the count dictated Valisilwen should be raised in the Temple, to learn to control her Force sensitivity and to grow under positive influence. Keris wanted to avoid a future version of his daughter being tempted by the dark side.
Amerie spent one more sleepless night with Valisilwen, petting the baby’s soft cheeks. It was decided her last name would remain Sadronniel. It was possible Valis might one day understand Keris was her father, but she would not find the link so easily through last name. The next morning, Amerie saw Keris and Valisilwen to the door, baby blanket ruffled around her nose and mouth as she watched her lover walk away with her baby.
"Welcome to our family time; welcome to our brotherly time"
Valisilwen turned out not to be a quiet, well behaved baby. She was prone to loud squealing, whether in excitement or just to get attention, and having a toothless smile on her face. During teething, she chewed on everything given to her, whether or not it was meant for chewing. As a toddler, it was a common sight to see her Jedi caretaker chasing a cackling version of the teetering, black-haired child as she escaped down the hall. She got along with other children, for the most part, unless she deemed something as “her toy”. Overall, Valis was a very attention demanding child who would get into trouble if she thought she didn’t get enough attention. It wasn’t uncommon to see her in time-out or picking up all the toys when all the other kids were gone.
When basic schooling began, it was obvious Valis wanted nothing more than to goof around. She distracted other younglings around her by making faces at the teacher’s back or drawing silly pictures of other children in the classroom. She failed to turn in homework, spending a lot more time playing with her fellow younglings outside of class. In class, she never focused, even when the teacher allotted her extra time to complete her classwork. Usually assignments were handed in with more doodles than answers.
