"Fear is just an illusion of the mind. It is a byproduct of the thoughts you create. Do not misunderstand me, as danger is very real. But fear is simply a choice."
[Work in Progress]
Name: Lord Darknal (Born Xelius Zerkost)
Race: Human
Age: 38
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 194.7 lbs
Appearance:
Darknal's wardrobe consists of battle armor and a helmet for protection, his battle armor has a pauldron on each shoulder as well. He has Gauntlets and greaves, and the finger tips of his Gauntlets don't have armor under them, instead, just silk from the gloves under the Gauntlets.
Attached to his belt is an assortment of lightsabers from Jedi that he has defeated in battle. He would keep the lightsabers from his most powerful foes attached to his belt, to symbolize his power.
There are three Lightsabers attached to the back of his belt. His Lightsaber from his Padawan years, that had a vivid green blade, and two Lightsabers from two Jedi Masters he defeated in battle.
The bottom half of his armor is a robe that connects to the cloak on his back, the edges of the robe are ripped. Basically, it's like a garment, the ripped robes connect to the cloak on his back. The robes cover most of his legs, the remainder is covered by armor that resembles the armor on his torso. He has claw-blades attached to the ends of his fingers; which he implements in battle if his lightsabers are unavailable.
Darknal often wears a hood over his helmet, the hood is attached to his cloak and rests on his back when not in use.
His armor is silver with a red highlight, except the helmet, pauldrons, belt, and claw-blades which are entirely silver. The visor in his helmet is tinted red. His robes and cloak are black with a red interior.
When unarmored Darknal only wears his robes, usually with the hood down. His hair is styled into a fauxhawk. Darknal's skin is white, his eyes are a fiery orange, and his hair is a black-blonde color. He also has piercings on his ears. He has a tattoo on his right bicep that is a white skull in front of blood red crossed lightsabers.
On his left bicep he has a tattoo of a wolf (probably his favorite animal) with blood red eyes. He has a scar that runs diagonally across his chest, it runs from his heart to his lower right side. Covering his back is a large tattoo of a black Rancor with piercing red eyes.
Darknal is a muscular well-built person, like your average Football player or Wrestler, as well as fast, as your average Track runner.

Lightsaber:
Darknal will have these two identical sabers, both used in the Jar-Kai form. Both Lightsabers have handgrips on the hilts, that are mostly opaque, but when the Lightsaber is activating, the handgrip becomes translucent with the color of the Lightsaber blade.
The bottom of the hilt has a spiked sphere, looking similar to the medieval Flail weapon's spiked 'head'. This spiker, as I will call it, can be used as a blunt, to stun enemies. It is very useful when the Lightsaber has shorted out, from water or such.
The top of the hilt featured a quadruple blade guard, which could be used as a effective weapon, like the spiker, if the Lightsaber ever shortens out. The button to activate the Lightsaber is above the handgrip, and it is colored red/gold.
Now for the lovely part. The Lightsaber is equipped with a Cell Recognizer along with a trap. Once someone other than Darknal touches either Lightsaber, spikes all over the handle will pop up and attempt to penetrate the skin.
Once the skin is penetrated, the tips of these spikes will send out volts of electricity, effectively frying the inside of the victim's hand. And these spikes, after penetrating the skin, tend to cause the Lightsaber to stick to the victim's hand, until the Lightsaber is forcibly pulled off.
Darknal has also added a CommLink to both Lightsabers, in case he has lost his current CommLink, or in case something worse happens, such as loosing one of his Lightsabers and his CommLink, that way he could use the other Lightsaber, in case he needed help.

The reason I have a number in Djem So, even though it doesn't work well with Jar'Kai, is because its not suppose to. Darknal relies on Djem So ONLY when he has lost one of his Lightsabers, and is stuck with one Lightsaber for the time being. Darknal basically utilizes Djem So's nature, which is pressing on the attack, in conjunction with Ataru's acrobatic nature.

Bio:
Pre-Birth and Childhood
Kyra and Drako on one of Zeltros' many beaches, living in Paradise.
Xelius' parents, Kyra Zerkost and Drako Zerkost, worked for a criminal syndicate because they saw no other way out of their poverty. When the opportunity to steal a ridiculous amount of wealth came, they did so, and gladly fled there former life, taking new names on a new planet, Zeltros. There they had their child. He was named Xelius. He knew nothing except the wealth and privilege of his upbringing. His parents having known the hardships of poverty were tempered in their excess of wealth, but he had never known anything else, so he became spoiled, arrogant, and greedy.Kyra and Drako on one of Zeltros' many beaches, living in Paradise.
When he was roughly 5 years old his parent's old employers caught up with the thieves, and they eagerly killed his parents. A Jedi discovered the child not long after his parent's murder, at a hospital where during a general check up they did a test for Force Sensitivity and discover that he is indeed Force Sensitive.
He was taken by the Jedi back to the Temple. Once there he found himself surrounded by love and affection, he was soothed and calmed somewhat. The meditations, the simple strolls, the being with others his own age help him. He didn't entirely fit in though, as the simple life of the Jedi is not at all like he was used to. Also the trauma of his parents only compounded his sense of being different to the Jedi. Nonetheless his teachers persevered, and he did show enough signs of taking the teachings to heart that he passes his initiate trials. He was also trained in Shii-Cho at this, later mastering it at age 14.
Padawan Years
Master Je'at Rekund, a Trandoshan blinded in his right eye.
Xelius was then assigned a Master by the Jedi Council. The Master assigned to him was Je'at Rekund. Je'at was blind in his right eye, and was also a Trandoshan, a well-known bipedal reptilian humanoid species. With a new Master, Xelius was now labeled as a Padawan, and he crafted his own green-bladed Lightsaber. Xelius was proud to achieve such a wonderful title.
As a Padawan, Xelius was exposed to the world again. He saw all the things he can never have as a Jedi, and there he began to be tempted again. While at the temple he didn't have temptation truly, just the memory of it, and the calm the Jedi gave him after his parent's trauma also helped to suppress that greed. But now it emerged once again.
Now he would, because of his training, raise these questions with his Master. His Master encouraged him to look deeply into the Code and the Force, to truly appreciate the serenity a lack of attachment brings a person. But slowly over the course of his Padawan years he began to believe serenity is not as good as pleasure - the pleasure things bring.
Je'at treated Xelius like a little Brother, surprisingly. The Master was eager to prove to the Council that he could fulfill their wishes, by ridding Xelius' of his vices. Je'at tried to get close to Xelius so he could help Xelius with the worse sides of his personality, mainly by being incredibly friendly, acting more like a father-figure or a big brother.
Je'at was a Jedi Consular, more specifically a Jedi Archaeologist. Xelius went on many missions with Je'at, involving infiltrating tombs to do a multiple of things, such as uncover ancient artifacts, studying ancient cultures, and deciphering ancient dialects. Xelius was rather interested in these adventures, as most of them involved slipping past traps and defenses, or destroying them if the former failed, or wasn't possible.
Defection
Xelius in his mind, surrounded by Dark Side apparations, moments before succumbing to the Dark Side and his grief.
When his Trials of Knighthood came, Xelius was eager to become a Jedi Knight. He passed his trials of Courage, and Skill with ease, but he had problems with the Trial of Spirit and the Trial of Flesh. For his Trial of Courage and Skill, he was sent with Je'at to a tomb to recover any ancient secrets it might hold.On his Trial of Courage and Skill, Xelius and Je'at explored a tomb, much bigger than the other ones they usually visited. Oddly enough, they ran into minimal defenses, as if they were already destroyed - very recently in fact. The duo went deeper and deeper into the tomb, before coming across a large gap that seemed to have no end. The only apparent way across was a very unstable bridge. Je'at moved ahead, crossing the bridge, only for it to collapse as he narrowly made his way to the other side of the gap.
Xelius feared the long drop in the gap. Je'at told Xelius to have courage, and let the force guide him across. Xelius had begun to think that the only way across was to jump. But before he could do it, Xelius was ambushed by four Tomb Looters. They surrounded him quickly, threatening him to surrender or die.
Pumping with Adrenaline, Xelius drew his Lightsaber, and cut the goons down quickly, as the Adrenaline sped up his movements. Thinking more looters were bound to show up, Xelius ran towards the gap, his movements enhanced by Force Speed. As soon as he made it to the edge, he jumped across the gap with Courage, barely making it to the other side.
Je'at commended Xelius for what he accomplished, claiming he may had just passed his Trials of Courage and Skill. After standing idle for a moment to let things calm and settle, the duo continued deeper in the tombs, ready to explore the secrets it hides.
On his Trial of Flesh, Xelius and Je'at once again ventured into the same large tomb from Xelius' Trial of Courage and Skill. Apparently, the tomb hadn't been fully explored, and it held more secrets than suspected.
Arriving at the bridge area, they couldn't cross the gap. But that's not where they were suppose to go. To the right, there was a door that they hadn't noticed the last time they were there. They ventured through it, going down many dark corridors, before arriving in a large chamber. In the middle of the chamber was a large staircase pyramid, with a Holocron secured on a Pedestal at the very top.
Je'at explained to Xelius to display extreme caution, for any number of traps could happen. Je'at kept Xelius back, while he walked the steps up to the Pedestal. Je'at carefully removed the Holocron, but a loud click was heard. Je'at stared back at the Pedestal, only to realize the Holocron was on a pressure plate - a dead man's switch!
The Pedestal, along with the top of the staircase Pyramid, exploded into an infernal. The Holocron flew out of the firestorm and smashed into the wall, with a flaming severed arm following it. Je'at was now dead. His body, save for the arm, was disintegrated.
Xelius fell to his knees in grief. He never thought it would happen, but the unthinkable just happen. Je'at was dead. Xelius felt heartbroken. He finally had a piece of family back. Only to have it taken away once more. The sudden shock caused Xelius to collapse, as if paralyzed.
He shed many tears before finally getting up. He wanted to take Je'at's Lightsaber back to the Council to inform him he was dead, but it was nowhere to be found. But he barely looked anyway. Unknown to Xelius, the Lightsaber had survived. It was buried under rubble that piled up near Je'at's dismembered hand.
Xelius left the tomb and returned to the Council with the Holocron. They were pleased, but they questioned where Je'at was. Xelius was overwhelmed with grief, and the Council sensed it. He explained how he died by a trap the Holocron sat upon. The Council told Xelius to go back to the tomb, and back to where his Master died, to mediate on his grief, and try to overcome it.
He did so. He traveled back to the tomb, and back into the chamber. He meditated in the entrance way of the chamber. But he couldn't just bear the thought that Je'at was dead. Je'at was like Xelius' brother. No, he was more than that. He was like Xelius' Father.
Xelius looked around the tomb. Fog rolled in. Was this an illusion? No, it couldn't be. Dark Side apparitions began to appear. He was surrounded by Sith. Xelius quickly ignited his Lightsaber, ready to duel if necessary. But a duel was not what he got. They him if he wanted his Master back. He told them yes. They asked for him to bow down and kneel before them, and they would bring him back.
Even though it was an obvious lie, Xelius did so. He succumbed to his grief, and the dark side apparitions. He couldn't get rid of his grief. He wanted his only friend - his only father - back. He got up, and tried to act like he was fine, that he conquered the grief.
But any wise person would know he still faces conflict. The fog along with the apparitions disappeared. Xelius deactivated his saber and sheathed it. As Xelius was about to leave, he noticed something sticking out of a pile of rubble. He grasped it with the force, and pulled it towards him. It was tugged out of the pile of rocks and debris, and floated to Xelius' hand.
It just so happened to be Je'at's Lightsaber. Keeping it as a memory, he hid the Lightsaber in his robes, and left the Tomb. Returning to the Temple, he tried hiding his grief, but he didn't prevail. He was called up to the Council, and told that he failed his Trial of Spirit, and was not granted the title of Knighthood.
Xelius was now overwhelmed with rage. How could he be not granted the Knighthood? Just because he grieves? What danger is there in grieving? Xelius didn't know, but he didn't care. He hated the Council, the Jedi Masters, all of them! It was their fault he failed, their fault he was declined his rightful power! It must have been.
For his next mission, the Council sent Xelius to Nar Shaddaa with a Jedi Master. They were to eliminate an Imperial Spy there. It was suppose to be quick and clean, but, like usual, it wasn't. The Council told the two how the Spy was under supervision by a Hutt, so it wasn't going to be easy getting to him.
Once they landed in a Nar Shaddaa spaceport, the duo was quickly engaged as they stepped off the ship. Imperial Troops had been waiting for them, no doubt with the influence of the spy and possibly the Hutt protecting him. They quickly tore through the ambushers, sparing the commander. They made a quick interrogation, with the commander easily giving up information on where the Spy was.
They had a rough start, but a start's a start. They walked through the streets of Nar Shaddaa, but what they didn't know was that along the way they were being tracked by the Spy. Eventually, they made it to one of the more shadier towns of the moon.
Halfway to the Hutt's palace, the duo was ambushed by a squad of mercenaries. They endured through the quick fight, and continued their travel. Once they made it to the Hutt's palace, it was guarded at the entrance and throughout the palace. On top of the palace sat a large tower, with the Hutt and Spy being located at the top.
The duo tore through the palace's defense, but by the time they got to the elevator that took them straight up the tower, the Master had been injured. His right shoulder had been shot, as well as his left forearm. He was also shot on his belly, lower right. They went up the elevator and met the Hutt and the Spy, both caught by surprise at the failure of the palace defenses.
The Master drew his Lightsaber, despite his wounds. He attempted to strike the Spy, but he wasn't fast enough. Xelius drove his Lightsaber through his Master's back, catching him off guard. The emerald blade emerging through the center of the Master's chest, piercing his heart. Using the Force, Xelius grabbed the Master's corpse, and flung it out of the tower's windows.
Explaining the situation, Xelius told the Spy about how the Council betrayed him, about how he had a new found hatred for the Jedi. About how he wanted to become Sith. The Spy wanted explanation on why Xelius had to tear through his and the Hutt's troops, and Xelius told the Spy that he was demonstrating his strength and power to him, as if it was a trial to become Sith.
After some heavy thought, the Spy agreed to take Xelius' to Korriban. But the Hutt stopped them from leaving, wanting Xelius to pay for all his dead troops and destroyed palace. The Hutt also asked the Spy to stay, to help around with foreign affairs. The Spy refused, stating the Hutt was a mere pawn, used to safeguard the Spy from harm. He was no longer needed, so the Spy aimed and fired a bolt at the Hutt, hitting him right between the eyes.
They then exited the Tower, and began facing whatever resistance was left within the Palace. Once they got out, they headed to a nearby spaceport, where the Spy's ship was docked. They managed to get there safely, and boarded the ship. They then took off, leaving Nar Shaddaa and hyperspacing to Korriban.
