A lean and small-framed man, Khan Soren certainly looks his young age; a mess of thick, black hair adorning his slightly tan-skinned head, featured with hazel eyes and a narrow jawline. He wears his slightly-tattered jedi robes in most, if not all, situations aside of bathing and sleeping. Behind his right eyebrow he has a barely noticeable scar, a result of an embarrassing fall as a Padawan some years ago.

Personality: Khan is a shy young man with a curious streak, generally timid when he's in social situations but he does his best to engage and hold conversation so as to learn about who he's speaking to, or what's being spoken about. He handles combative situations with care; not so keen to draw his lightsaber unless absolutely necessary; but when the situation is indeed necessary, Khan isn't so shaky as to hesitate on it.

Lightsaber: A basic, single-handed and single bladed design, Khan's saber is rather spartan in appearance and wears its age well; the metallic tube only slightly scratched and chipped from being used; the grooved handguard along the middle of its twenty centimeter length slightly worn from the constant grasp in which it had been held. It uses a red-hued activator stud to ignite and defuse in the upper third of the hilt, and its d-link clip located on the pommel allows it to be clipped to a belt.

Bio: His birth arguably the mistaken result of a drunken tryst between a freighter mechanic and a spaceport clerk, Khan's infancy was perhaps best spent with the Jedi Temple as opposed to with his birth parents, given to the Jedi once it was confirmed the young boy was indeed sensitive to the Force at age two.
Placed into one of the youngling clans, Khan's training was fairly standard for what the Jedi were known for; the young boy learned how to make proper use of his natural connections to the Force, how and when to use a lightsaber, the arts of diplomacy and study of the world.
Khan made friends and rivals throughout his later youngling stages and entering into Padawan training; a handful of scuffles over verbal arguments of who had the better saber ability, who had a stronger understanding of the Force. Punishments were swift, and even when Khan protested his sometimes-truthful innocence, they came as certain as the sunrise
Going through the initial stages of puberty didn't help any matters in the young-teenage Khan's life, adding confusion to what was an already doubting mind. It was coming close now to possible selection from a Knight ,to begin properly walking the path of a Jedi, and deep down ,Khan had no idea just how ready he was. Life as anything else but a Jedi seemed...almost impossible to the young boy.
Despite his growing concerns and doubts, amid some rather unsettling feelings of attraction and other matters he couldn't fully comprehend or describe regarding some of his life-long friends, Khan was selected by bothan Jedi Knight Tresk Azira'ia at the age of thirteen and began his training in earnest, having bested a fellow padawan hopeful in an impressive demonstration of lightsaber technique.
