Jailhouse Action?

Sometimes when I have lots of time to think about things, I get ideas. Sometimes I post them up.

SOMETIMES I DUN USE THE FORMAT WHATEVA WHATEVA

Anyway had an idea for some trouble. It's a pretty simple idea, really. Namely, some bad dudes, be they sith, pirates, terrorists or whatever, would send a strike team to hit a prison in space somewhere and try to free some people being held. I'm sure they'd be after a certain person in particular or something like that, but they might also be open to taking a few volunteers if other prisoners want out.

The prison they hit could vary. A Republic prison being attacked could draw out Jedi or Republic forces. A Hutt prison could give reasons for Fringers to get involved. Even the Sith could get hit.

Now, while they're doing this, things'll spiral out of control into general chaos, and a team will arrive to try to help settle things down.

Now the inspiration for this is coming from a thread that happened a few years ago that petered out when one of the members had to step away from the site. That particular thread involved Jedi, so I'm open to it being a Jedi mission. HOwever, might be able to work some other groups in, depending on interest.

Anyway, sure. Those of you with multiple characters (which is just Ash, I think?) who are you thinking on using?

Depends on the situation. My main character, who can fit anywhere, would be Zwei aka Phantom. Sora is more of a goody goody character, and Bit... well... yeeaaaaaaa.... no explosion is big enough... If you want more info on them, just ask. I can supply what knowledge i can for whatever is being planned.

Yeah, sure. Zwei is a... bounty hunter, iirc? I forget. That'd be Zwei, Donnie, and Post's Jedi, correct?

His main training is that of an assassin, but he can pretty much to whatever job he is tasked to. lol.

Can you RP in different threads at the same time? Noobie question, sorry.

Yeah, from what I remember, each thread, unless otherwise stated, happens in a sort of "bottle". You can use your character in two places at once, but the two threads with your character can't interact, basically. If they do, you cause a paradox and the universe implodes, possibly killing us all.

I'll probably use my Matukai, Tsubasa, who comes along with a fire-breathing droid companion. So that'd be a Jedi, an assassin, a Donnie (>_>) and a Matukai. Interesting makeup.

Anyway, I promise we'll move on this before long. Just happened to start coming together during the middle of a major project at work so I'm pretty much braindead when I'm not working.

That said, what are some scenarios you guys think might draw your characters? Given the party's makeup, I think it would be most feasible to have this whole thing occurring amongst some thirds parties, rather than as a Sith/Republic thing

Personally, I like the idea of a band of pirates trying to bust out their Captain. Piracy involves many things, such as killing people, so a Jedi would naturally be called upon to investigate and stop the break out. That's just me though...

Works for me. I can wrangle up some reason for Tsu to get sucked in and I don't imagine it'd be hard for a Jedi to be called to aid. Long as it works for The Conman and Ash?

Someone has a hit on their head. The infamous Phantom was sent out to collect. Something like that will work for me. hehe

Sounds good to me so far. How they are all connected will be interesting to resolve, but once things are rolling I think it'll be fun stuff.
