What ya got here is a Jedi Investigator wrapped up in a lack of fear to go where tough is just a Sunday pick-nick, deep fried in a Zeltronian goodness of loose morals and a palate thirsty for action and adrenaline spikes.
Kaylix, as a fore mentioned, isn't afraid to go places and do things others of the Jedi Order would consider naughty. In point of fact that's his job! He spends 90 percent of his time under the assumed guise of Danny Jah-Rentius; a former special forces operative turned do-whatever man.
What does that mean for Civilians, Fringers, and Military folk?
He's a Jedi that doesn't suffer from existential paradoxes and won't prattle on about...whatever it is normal Jedi talk about. Kaylix really is more like an every day common Joe just trying to put food on the table. He has the skills that make him a force multiplier and game changer in less than peaceful business dealings; and a humor and personality enough to keep him around the rest of the time. A true blue friend with enough happy and connections to keep people in party mode for a good long while.
What it means for Jedi?
This is where things get a little tricky. Kaylix doesn't mingle with Jedi much at all and therefore had kind of forgotten what a more structured and code strict life is like. He can keep relationships to mildly awkward up to casual friends; anything more than that takes time and work which are two things he can scarcely afford. At his core he is a die hard believer in the Jedi but where his work takes him he's more likely to cross the wrong end of a Jedi before joining forces with them. He's been arrested, attacked, jailed, shipped off to prison, and everything between by Jedi who didn't know his identity before and to keep his cover it is bound to happen again.
What about Sith and Dark Siders?
It's a wild card. Even I don't know what Kaylix will do when these paths cross. He might ask to sit down to have an intellectual debate or he might go full Gundark, I got no idea.
What kinds of RP I'm looking for?
You name it and there's probably a way I can get Kaylix into it. As for specifics I would like to get him into some crime- black market, cartels, narco/vice, that kind of thing to start with and see where it goes from there.
I think it would also be really fun to encounter the above mentioned Jedi vs. Jedi dilemma where a Consular or Guardian would chase down a supposed criminal. Where that ends I'll leave open to discussion. But maybe a small cat and mouse game with ships in an asteroid field, or a jaunt through the flea ridden levels of Nar Shadda. OOH OOH, what about a speeder chase across Taris, trying to chase down a Swoop Gang and singling Kaylix out to chase down.
But really I don't want to pile on more than I can deal with to start with, I'm coming back from a RP sabbatical. Just lettin' y'all know I'm up for whatevers! Don't be shy I don't bite hard. If you've got an idea or want to work off of one of the hair brained ideas above I'm open to talkin' about it. Just lemme know or PM me, either or.
