Name:
Alaari Sen
Race:
Togruta
Age:
22
Height:
5.5"
Weight:
132 lbs
Appearance:
Alaari like her Mother has a slender and rather thin frame as well as an average sized chest. Her length was something that put her down slightly, not being able to reach books that resided higher up on shelves without using chairs or ladders let her down. Besides that her body was something she never cared so much about, it never really mattered a whole lot to her how she looked as relationships were not allowed for those who were becoming Jedi.
Her skin is multi-colored just like most others of her species, her skin is a fiery red color with white markings, her head tails reaches down just below her chest and are fiery red with tiger markings. Alaari's face is just slightly thinner than most other of her own species as well as slightly more rounded. Alicia's eyes she got from her father, deep blue and with a closer look a slight tint of brown. She's usually quite light on her feet and if she really tries she'll be quite hard to hear coming. But as she has a habit of coming late at times she can't always utilize that.
If you'd ever get a peek of her when not clothed in her robes you wouldn't be able to directly notice any muscles, after all, she's been focusing on training her mind and not her body. Her robes matches her skin, being white and having red trimming on the shoulders as well as some red striping. (Link in the last sentence, look at the Togruta)
Because of her friendly personality she's almost always smiling whenever she's around people, so getting a smile from Alaari isn't so rare.
Voice Sample: "There is always a trail" - Link
Personality:
Alaari is a friendly person, she rarely thinks the worst of someone she just met, unless that person has a reputation of being hostile or just is a trouble maker. She's a tad bit clumsy which she inherited from her mother as well but has managed to get some control over it through out her training.
There are a couple of things that Alaari really dislikes. First thing is slavers, speaking about them puts her in a bad mood and can in general remove her smile for a while. Second is those who are bragging, it's rare to find Alaari brag but occasionally it happens, does she like it? No, do she like those who brag constantly? No. But what does she like? Well, given a good book she will spend hours reading it if given the time and space to do so. Another thing she dislikes is torn pages from books
Around people she's not afraid to talk, but that doesn't mean she'll go up to any random stranger and strike up a conversation. If you walk up to Alaari and speak to her she's very likely to respond in a friendly tone.
However, if you manage to interrupt her when she's reading and already is in a bad mood she's very likely to snap and act very unlike herself.

Bio:
Birth.
Born 3582 BBY Alaari lived with her Mother Ashtee Sen and Father Ereen Sen at Coruscant, a few hours before she was going to move in with her parents and leave the hospital she was put through the mandatory Midichlorian test which revealed that she was force sensitive. Her parents elected to keep her home for two years before they let the Jedi take her to the temple.
Alaari's mother and father worked as cooks at a restaurant before and after Alaari was born, what they are doing now is unknown to her as she haven't spoken to them since she was taken to the temple.
Youth - 3 - 12 Years Old.
Through her younger years Alaari showed to be something of an fast learner, picking up theoretical knowledge with relative ease but lacked slightly when it came to physical exercises. Whenever she had the chance she would be reading, this habit has continued on into her later teenage years. She discovered her love for books around the age of twelve after walking around in the library.
Her passion for reading translated into her being a bit of a calmer person, never feeling a need to rush, instead taking it slow and making sure to try and complete her tasks with perfection. Something that she inherited from her mother was that she was clumsy at times, which made Lightsaber training a bit harder for her as it required you to think fast and act fast, which she lacked at.
Early in her Lightsaber training she was close to accidently killing herself, looking down at the Lightsaber when she accidently hit the button to light it up, luckily the beam itself just barely missed her cheek, which in itself might be a reason to why she's having some problems learning how to use it fully.
Because Alaari was a person who took her time doing things and kept aiming at perfection, it happened from time to time that she just barely made it in time to certain locations. When she was late the cause was often holobooks, finding it hard to put away something she was reading she could often be seen in the Temple Library later at night, busily reading.
Melanie her Master.
Her relationship with her Master, Melanie, is a rather friendly one and she sees Melanie more of a friend than a mentor. Melanie understands that Alaari enjoys reading and gives her the opportunity to read when it's appropriate. During missions with her Master Alaari would listen carefully to what she was told and would try just as back at the temple, complete the task with perfection, of course this was not always possible and it happened that she'd find herself lost on planets she had no clue how to navigate.
Melanie had chosen to take Alaari as her apprentice because of Alaari's dedication to achieve the best she could. However when it came to going on missions with her she found that Political missions where Alaari's thought capabilities would come to more use than her slightly lacking lightsaber capabilities.
Through her years with Melanie as a master they've come to be quite close friends, rarely arguing on missions or even outside, and it happens that she's sometime invited to the tea gatherings that Alaari and her friends have.
When asked by her Master what she wished to become after finishing her 'education' she always seemed to answer the same two things, either an Archives Assistant or a Mediator. Combat was something she did not like and if given time she would eventually come up with a peaceful solution, which combat would never be able to accomplish.
Building her own Lightsaber - 19 Years Old.
When it came to making her own lightsaber she was a bit nervous, she had never done anything of equal importance before. Along with the memories of her near fatal accident she worked on her lightsaber in peace and slowly finished it. The construction process took just slightly longer than average, but what took the longest was when she had to meditate on the crystal.
Having spoken to her friends about creating their own lightsaber they all replied that they spent about two weeks meditating on it. Just like Alaari usually did she took things slowly and made sure everything would end up perfect, so instead of the average two weeks of meditation she spent three and a half weeks meditating on her crystal before finishing her first and only lightsaber.
Friends and tea.
Alaari has a somewhat wide friend circle, ranging from close friends to acquaintances, while she enjoys speaking to everyone there are a few who she's closer to and what some would call Best friends. The two Togruta Velrika and Rona, Sha'lia the Twi'lek and Charlie a human male also the only male in her closest group of friends.
When not reading or following her Master Alaari would be talking to her friends that she had made during her years at the temple, spending most of their time talking about far away worlds they'd like to visit or even settle down upon whilst drinking tea. Something that rarely was brought up in these small meetings they held was relationships, often asking why they weren't allowed but as quickly it was asked it was answered.
Relationships were something that interested Alaari, having lived her entire life in the temple she had no real idea what a relationship was. But after reading countless amounts of books she had an idea about what it was, but then again she'd never experience it herself as long as she was a Jedi, which she didn't intend to stop being.
Failure - 19 Years Old.
Alaari isn't one to fail to complete something, but it happens and when she does it puts her down. It's even worse when it's on a mission with her Master.
Her biggest failure if you would ask her is something she's not so keen to talk about, it involves her feeling completely useless as she fails to protect a family on Tatooine when on a mission with her Master. The mission itself was of origin a diplomatic one, but things changed rather quickly once they arrived at the meeting with some Mercenaries.
Alaari had been told to stay back, listen and protect the family that the meeting was about and was to do what she could to make sure they stayed safe. Things went along quietly until something happened, she barely had time to react before the sound of blasters filled the room and stopped just as fast as it had started. No one seemed to be hurt at first, but when Alaari looked around to check on the family she found the three shot.
Melanie on the other hand was the reason to why the shooting stopped, having acted the moment the first trigger was pressed she had taken care of the Mercs, but not fast enough to save the family. Almost dragging Alaari with her they got to the ship and left the planet.
Alaari was in deep shock after that, not speaking during the trip back to Coruscant. She spent a few days alone in her room, thinking of what she had done wrong and what she could have done differently.
Getting lost on Naboo - 21 Years Old.
Alaari has a few times ended up getting lost on various planets, however, only when she's alone. The most awkward time for her was the time she had followed Melanie to Naboo on a diplomatic mission.
She had accidentally walked away from Melanie and ended up in a district that she'd never been in, she was sure that Melanie had walked next to her. But that was not the case and she found herself alone in one of the more crowded districts. Around her she could see different stands so she assumed it was some kind of market district, she wasn't entirely wrong but it still didn't give her an idea of where she was.
Looking over her shoulder to see the way she came from didn't work either as that ended up showing the ocean. So, Alaari was now lost somewhere on Naboo, she walked around, acting like she knew exactly where she was going when she heard someone ask. "Are you lost, Miss?" she froze for a moment and turned around, shaking her head and replying No. Just after she realized she could ask for directions.
So Alaari asked where the space dock was and got the directions there, bowing she thanked for herself and then left towards the space dock.
Once she arrived she decided to look for their ship, only to find that she had been sent to the wrong space dock. This was starting to make Alaari a bit embarrassed, she was used to getting lost from time to time, but not on Naboo, a planet she had been on several times before.
Walking up to one of the pilots she managed to get a ride to the right side of the city. From there she managed eventually to trace her steps to where she had lost Melanie. Now to figure out where they were going. But a hand on her shoulder made her flinch and turn around. She was greeted by Melanie's slightly disappointed face. Since then she has always made sure to stick close to Melanie from now on, especially on missions. But when she was sent away to do tasks for her Alaari made sure to memorize the way there.
Upcoming Trials - Present: 22 Years Old.
Alaari is very aware that her trails to knighthood is quickly coming up, this is something that makes her nervous as it's going to mark a big change in her life if she succeeds and becomes a Jedi Knight. Speaking to her closest friends about the Trials she got some comfort from them, especially from the two Togruta Velrika and Rona, as they already had passed their Trials and had become Jedi Knights.
Still, the Trials was something that she was very very nervous about but she still looked forward to. To become a Jedi Knight was something she really wanted, but somehow she still doubted she'd be able to be a 'good' Jedi Knight. She still got lost on new strange planets but it had begun to happen less frequently.

Alaari stretched her arms and looked around her, odd, there had been people in the library just a moment ago. Feeling her eyes dry up a little she yawned and rubbed her eyes. "What time is it?" Looking at the clock her fears were true, once more she had been in the library for far too long. Standing up Alaaria packed up her things and looked at the clock once more. "Let's see, it's 1:19 AM... aw crap..." She thought and turned around to leave the library.
The halls of the temple were mostly empty besides the occasional droid that moved around, Alaari had once more stayed past midnight at the Library when she knew she had to get up early the day after. "Yay, another 6 hours of sleep..." After doing this for a few years one would think she would have stopped doing it by now, but no. There was something about the books that just devoured her time.
She read almost anything she could get her hands on, battles of old, reports, how to manipulate the force and even larger scale strategies. But something Alaari would always be lacking in, no matter how much she read, would be leadership.
"Let's see... Ah, there it is..." Every step she took echoed into the empty halls, the young Padawan was used to walking around at this time, but she always felt watched. Maybe it was because of the security and the fact that she was alone moving around instead of walking with her Master or some of her friends.
The walk back to her room felt extremely long, it was rather long too but it felt like she had walked a mile before she finally closed the door to her room. Tossing up her bag onto a table she undressed into her underwear and lay down under the covers of the bed.
Turning her head slowly she looked at the clock. " 01 : 39 " Alaari sighed, another night that would be too short. She barely had time to close her eyes before she fell asleep.
