Hiya ladies and gentlemen. Happy to be posting in plot request for the first time, in my proactive attempt to pick of the pieces of a stalled RP. Master Chias and myself were on a Mission to Dorin when my Master, Tesok, went missing; and now the pair are potentially in need of some help.



Sadly, due to Tesok's sudden and prolonged absence without any communication I have reluctantly made the decision to apply (as it were) for a new Jedi Master. Jifo (my character) is a young padawan who shows a natural talent with the force, both in its usage and his sensitivity to it. While this is something noteworthy; most overlooked him as potential trainees due to his lacks of confidence and conviction. Still new to the real world of being a Jedi he tends to second guess himself, and even Tesok only took him on once he noted Jifo's lightsaber practices improve when he covers his eyes and relies entirely on the force.



I post this only in the interest of writing someone into our current story in the form of aid sent to help in the completion of the mission at hand. While it certainly isn't necessary that the new character even be interested in taking Jifo on as a padawan; it would certainly be marvelous serendipity would it not? ALso considering Dark Side options as possible futures for young Jifo.

As young keyz stated above our Master of Cermonies Tesok has unexpectedly gone MIA and we are looking to continue our tale until he returns, my character Chias was recruited for her vast knowledge Jedi and Republic history, an eccentric Knight she spends most her time within the Jedi Archive but this adventure her first real test as a member of the Order, quite and shy and a little awkward  but also willing to put her life on the line I've gotten some very nice comments on her. If you feel to do some treasure hunting or exploring with your character give me or keyz a ring

Hey guys, if in a couple of weeks, once I'm done with all my work for uni, you still want someone to carry on the mission with, I'll probably be looking to spend some time relaxing with some RP. In that case I'd definitely want to write with the both of you, but Keyz I wouldn't want to commit to getting Vreem involved in a Master/Apprentice relationship as that's not something I've really considered for him for a while (though I do hope you find someone to fill the roll).

Out of curiosity's sake, how much have you planned out for the mission so far? I already have a few ideas coming to mind, but I don't know if you guys have everything you need already, or what kind of experience you're looking for from the mission.

Hopefully you get some interest before my work is finished, but if not, I'd want to give it a shot (:

The basic plot is that Tesok was sent to Dorin to investigate a Dark Side phnonemon at a abandoned Bar Do Sages Temple, he recriuts Chias because her knowledge of Jedi\Republic history and also her role as a Historian to doucement new discoveries for te Archive, during the prep period for the mission Tesk recruited keyz character Jifo as his padawan, the team arrives on Dorin but is standed mid way to the site by a freak ectrical storm, as of right now Chias is hididng in a cave not far from their damage speeder and Tesok and Jifo are lost on the planis,  I think we also decided once they arrived at the Temple there would be some getting to know each other time around a fire and general investigation of the Temple but then discovering it is being robbed by bandits who would sell the artifacts on the black market (they would be lead by an Echani pirate NPC played bye me for Chias to fight)

I can not say what keyz plans to get out the whole tale but as for my character it just to get outside the Temple and experience in the world of SWU considering she spends of her time in the Archive but that is just me Hope you consider joining up

This mission marked a milestone in more than one way. It was his first time out of the temple since his arrival early in life; and it was an opportunity to learn from his master and begin the path to overcoming his confidence issues and get a chance to put the skills he had learned into practice. Seeing as how he has only been a padawan for a few days now, he has yet to construct a lightsaber; therefore making any potential combat rather dangerous. Though he will feel compelled to help Chias when face to face with bandits, his contribution with likely be limited to timid displays of his force skills.

I certainly understand about not opting in for the Master position, I didn't figure many would if at all. If I have to continue playing the character without one and he ends up in the Jedi Work Corps....so be it I guess. Would prefer that over trying to force it with a pairing that didn't match really.

Alright, I like the premise. Mind if I throw up some suggestions/ideas to consider? (Sorry if any spelling mistakes pop up, I literally just finished one of my essays and feel pretty tired)

For how my own Jedi could join, it would be simple-ish enough to say he was near to Dorin as he travels a lot and there's no battles going on right now so he'd be travelling a bit, recruiting/trying to gain support for the war effort. Can just say that after the Jedi lost contact with your group due to the storm, Vreem was asked to go and locate them. He can then find them after the storm's over and they can finish the mission together.

For the mission itself, I like the dark side presence/nexus thing, and I think that should come into play a little bit. Say that once they get to exploring deeper parts of the temple (after they've had their time sitting around the fire getting to know each other, which is always good to have) they come across a group of bandits like you planned, who had actually previously, much previously, to raid the temple. However, maybe have it that they fell victim to this dark nexus, becoming almost addicted to being around it and not wanting to leave, it can infuse them with a bit of the Dark Side as well, not much, maybe enough to increase their physical strength/speed to some varying degrees. I was initially just going to suggest having there be some of the Sages there who had been corrupted by the nexus, but perhaps that might be a bit too tough for Jifo. Of course, avoiding that whole Dark Side/corrupted side of things and having them just be regular, moral-corrupted bandits is perfectly fine too, just throwing out ideas you might want to consider.

Also Keyz, don't forget Jifo would still have a training saber, it might not be the greatest weapon, but at least it won't leave him exposed if a bandit gets up close.

Also, if Vreem were to join, it's possible the characters would have interacted with him in the past, for the last couple of years he's been on the council, but before that a great deal of his time, close to a decade I think, was spent teaching at the temple on Coruscant. So if you didn't want it to be an instance of 'I've not seen you before' then there's the possibility for that as well.

But yea, whatever you decide, I should still be interested by the time I'm done with uni.

Sounds great to me, and if he is on the council and frequently teaches it is entirely likely that he would be well acquainted with Jifo as he spent a lot of time in classes that weren't necessary for the purposes of his own insight.

I do like the idea of the bandits having become addicted to the Dark Side nexus, It would be a bit more challenging for everyone I think. Should make for more interesting writing regarding combat.

If I remember Jenno when little miss Chias was still in pre production was you who said you wanted converse with her cause of her anti war views?  I could be crazy and even if not Vreem and her could play off well together

Alright, so I'll have Vreem already know Jifo. And yea 334, their conflicting views will probably come into play a bit, which is always fun to explore.
