Training (Jerek)

[Erael]

Erael took the cloak and swept it on, slipping the cowl over his head and goggles over his eyes. He exited and looked around. Dantooine was growing back to its former state, grass and such. He had no weapon with him, only his knowledge of the force.

He waited for his master, looking around the area. He spotted a cave opening, a colored glow emanating from the entrance. He guessed it was the cave, feeling a presence of the force coming from it. He chuckled as he thought of how paranoid his master was being. Dantooine was Sith space now, but he saw no reason to share that bit of information. Let him be paranoid.

Erael began walking towards the cave, feeling around himself for any life. One man seemed to be nearing their position. He paid him no mind. Perhaps a settler or a mandalorian.

[Jerek]

Jerek exited after Erael. He looked around once, then spotted the cave. He could feel that his apprentice though him paranoid. This may be "Sith Space", but that didn't mean a Republic Soldier couldn't be playing the role as spy and try to kill two Dark Jedi. Jerek led the way to the cave.

He stopped at the mouth of the cave, waiting for Erael. He sensed another life form heading in their direction. Nothing to worry about for now, though.

Erael entered the caves with a grin, looking around. Nothing. He followed the tunnel, making light splashes in the collected water on the tunnel floor. He saw the glow coming from further down the tunnel. Following it, he entered a large room, large crystal clusters of many colors all over the place.

He approached one particular cluster, frowning as he looked. There was a deep red crystal here with a clear stripe. He stretched his palm out and pulled the crystal to him, looking it over. It would make a fine blade. He smiled and slipped it in his pocket.

Looking around, he chuckled, taking the crystal from his pocket. He turned it over in his hand, admiring the deep color. He put it in one of the rays of sunlight, throwing a circular patch of red on the wall with a white outside ring, but a deep red core.

Erael nodded and turned to his master. “I am prepared, master.”

[Jerek]

"Very well. Do not worry about raw materials yet. There should be some where we are headed. Follow me." Jerek took off down the tunnel. It soon became very dark, to where he had to pull out a flash light from his belt. With the beam of light as their eyes, Jerek and Erael continued. They'd bump into a small rock occasionally, but made it nonetheless. They came out of the other side of the vast cave.

Jerek didn't stop, except to strap the flashlight back to his belt, then continued on. Jerek finally stopped at a dome-shaped building. It was one of many bases that he and his old master would train in. He waved his hand in front of the door. It slid to the right, making a doorway.

Jerek motioned Erael in after himself. "Now, go over there to make your saber hilt." Jerek pointed to the left of the door. He looked around, then waved his hand again. The door slid shut.

[Erael]

Erael smiled as they walked, admiring the crystal he held in his hand. It was a beautiful specimen. As they approached the building, Erael frowned and slipped the crystal in his pocket. He entered and looked to his left. A workbench, complete with the necessary tools to create his hilt.

He sat at the bench and placed the crystal in a corner of the bench. He spotted a container with an assortment of materials. Looking through it, he selected a fragment of black horn. Digging deeper, he found dark metal plates. With a smile, he began piecing it together, using the force to both lift up the pieces and bond them together at a molecular level. He lifted a tube of black metal, spinning it about with the force while he carved designs into it. He fitted the crystal and power cell, then began placing the other components.

Soon enough, he cut the horn fragment into a curved oval piece, fitting it over the tube, and placed the other pieces on. He lifted his goggles and laid back in the chair, sighing and wiping sweat from his forehead.

Standing up, he picked up the lightsaber and flicked the internal switch with the force. It hummed and a long thin blade was emitted, a deep crimson colored blade with a thing white aura of light. He smiled and flicked another switch, making the blade even longer. He chuckled and deactivated it with a satisfied grin, slipping the hilt onto his belt and stepping out of the dome to meet his master. “I am finished, master.”

[Jerek]

"Good. Now onto your lightsaber combat training. I've set up a Jedi simulator in here." Jerek walked into a plain room. He waved his hand. A loud clunk came fom somwhere, then a blue figure, holding green lightsaber appeared. "Fight him, Erael." Jerek stepped back into a corner, watching. His hand was positioned over his lightsaber's hilt incase he had to stop the simulator.

He dropped his cloak to the ground and knelt onto the floor. He slowly began to meditate. He remainedaware of the fight going on in the oom. His lightsaber now lay in his lap.

He meditated for a long time. He always did this, trying to sense other beings of the force around the universe. He was always unlucky, however.

[Erael]

Erael watched the hologram jedi raise it’s blade, ready to strike. Erael seized his own lightsaber with both hands and activated it, it’s red blade and white glow lighting up the area with a pink hue. He began the fight, a very simple beginning. He gained the upper hand after a while, refinding his skill with the lightsaber. After using the vibrosword for so long, the saber was awkward. He began implementing very basic forms of vaapad into his fighting.

Erael quickly was winning, using the force to up the hologram’s difficulty a bit. His concentration slipped and turned it up a little more than he would have liked, quickly placing him on the defensive. He misplaced his foot, hitting the ground. He blocked the green blade, both hologram and erael pushing against each other.

Erael broke into a sweat and his thumb flicked a switch, increasing the blade’s length considerably. Using the jedi’s own strength and angle, he pushed himself away and turned his own blade over, pushing the green blade to the floor.

Erael slid his blade up and into the hologram, focused blade cutting through the light projection with little resistance. The program reset, jedi standing still. Erael sighed and flicked the program off.

“Honestly, master. Must we perform such basic tasks?” He said impatiently.

[Jerek]

"Because you have not even mastered Shii-Cho," Jerek said, not even opening his eyes. His brows were lowered. He was concentrating on a force being on Dantooine as well. It was not too far from the temple. "Erael, prepare for a fight." Jerek got up and unclipped lightsaber. He pressed a thumb to the black button, and the weapon ignited.

Jerek walked slowly to the door of the training area. He opened it and stepped out into th main hall. The being knew they were there. It had to be a Jedi. He felt it coming. He turned to Erael. "It's a Jedi. Keep your senses open, and let your movements flow." Jerek's yellow eyes came to rest on the door. The Jedi was less than a mile away.

Jerek reached out with the force. He slowly made a singe mark in the door. That would slow the Jedi down some. Just enough for Erael and Jere to strike first.

[Erael]

Erael activated his lightsaber once more, the red glow muted by the white aura around it. Erael stood by his master’s side and watched the door, reaching out with the force to sense the Jedi. Nothing. It was too far from himself to see it. That was why he had Jerek. One of the few reasons he tolerated him. Erael honestly didn’t care if his master knew these thoughts, but kept an impenetrable wall around them.

Erael let the force flow through his muscles and he used it to sharpen his movement, increase his reflexes and reaction time. One of the fields he excelled in with the force was bodily manipulation, to be able to speed himself up, increase his resistance to the force, and to strengthen himself.

Erael felt himself become one with his blade, prepared for the upcoming fight.

[Jerek]

Jerek saw sparks fly from the silver door before him. Then, a blue blade came slicing through it. Jerek charged froward, swinging his lightsaber at the blade. A Jedi Master came hurtling through the demolished door, his blade swinging at Jerek. The two blades made contact. Gold sparks flew from the locked blades.

Jerek back flipped away as the Jedi swung for his legs. He turned to Erael. "Now, attack!"
