Name: Kriegen Aurorus
Age: 26
Race: Cathar
Birth place: Coruscant
Height: 5'9”
Weight: 160
Eye Color: Hazel
Hair Color: Brown
Appearance: Kriegen has predominately tan fur covering his body, with white fur covering his mouth, and torso. His hair is medium length, and he has a scar underneath his right eye that he received in a bar brawl against a particularly inebriated Rodian with a particular dislike of Cathar. Kriegen is of average height for a male Cathar, and typically wears a long black hooded coat over his body armor. He also carries his blaster rifle over his back, his two pistols are holstered on his hips, and he clips his lightsabers to his back, to better conceal them. He also carries a small knife that he straps to his left shoulder.
Personality: Kriegen is a ruthless bounty hunter who does almost anything to get a job done. Some would even go so far as to say he's cruel at times, and he can be. But even a ruthless bounty hunter can have some morals, and Kriegen is no exception. He will not take any job that will endanger any bystanders, and he will not accept jobs that involve children. He has a certain soft spot for kids. Despite all of this, he is actually a nice person when he's not on a job. He does have a secret, though. Kriegen is bisexual, though he makes sure nobody save his sister, and the people he trusts most, knows this, unless of course he gets hit on by another male. Overall, he's a cold-blooded bounty hunter with a heart of gold. But all of his morals go out the window if he's forced to protect the only family he has left: His sister Evalin, and his Master, Ordo Veng.

Bio: Kriegen and his twin sister Evalin were born to a Cathar couple who lived on the streets of Coruscant. Unfortunately, their parents had no way to support them, so the twins were put up for adoption, in hopes that they could live a better life than that of their birth parents. Though they were fully intended to be adopted together, this was not the case. Kriegen was taken in by a human couple, Jaden and Annah Aurorus. Evalin was taken in by a different human couple, Adam and Jodine Theed. Unbeknownst to the Aurorus couple, however, Evalin had been discovered as Force-Sensitive following a blood test she received after being hospitalized.
The next few years were fairly ordinary, though Jaden and Annah never forgot about their daughter. Kriegen attended public schools for the entirety of his schooling career...though Kriegen was never particularly social. It wasn't for lack of others trying, he just preferred being alone. One day, when Kriegen was only ten, a particularly aggressive and xenophobic human boy, Lo-Ti Pharos, began attending the same school as Kriegen. Every day, he made it a point to express his distaste of how many aliens there were in the school, sometimes going so far as to physically attack some of the alien kids, just for fun.
Then Lo-Ti turned his hatred on Kriegen.
It started out small. Snide remarks, the occasional racist slur, calling him a fleabag or something similar. Kriegen simply endured it, but grew more and more angry with each passing incident, until one day, he couldn't take it anymore. He searched for Lo-Ti one day after school to give him a piece of his mind, when he came upon the human beating a young Twi-lek female. Kriegen sprinted towards Lo-Ti, yelling for him to get off of her. The human boy whirled around and drove his fist into the charging Cathar's face, knocking him backwards onto his back. As the dazed Kriegen tried to sit up, Lo-Ti menacingly approached him, fully intending to beat him senseless. Feeling a mixture of fear and anger, Kriegen sprang to his feet, while simultaneously driving his fist into Lo-Ti's jaw, fracturing it. Kriegen had never felt as strong as he had at that moment, and took a certain glee in seeing the racist human on the ground, crying in pain from his damaged jaw.
After Kriegen returned home and explained what happened following questions about why why he had a huge black eye, his parents became concerned. Was this what happened when a Force-Sensitive's abilities began to manifest? They didn't know for certain, so they finally tested his blood. the results were as they feared: Kriegen was Force-sensitive, just like his sister. Jaden and Annah became terrified that if the Jedi learned, they'd take him away, just as they had taken Evalin (though they didn't know Kriegen was too old to be taken in as a youngling). But they also feared what might happen if he never learned to control his abilities, so they turned to an old friend, and former member of the Jedi Order, Master Ordo Veng. Veng was a human who had originally been an instructor at the Jedi Temple, but he left some years prior for...unknown reasons, though the truth was that he had been in love with his childhood friend, so he left the Order to be with her.
Several more years passed, with Kriegen continuing his education, and his training with Master Veng. After years of training, with history lessons, saber training, and Force training, Veng surprised Kriegen on his sixteenth birthday – a green crystal, as well as the pieces Kriegen needed to construct his very own lightsaber. Overjoyed at finally being given this rite of passage, he spent weeks, bothe meditating to attune the crystal to himself, and trying to construct his lightsaber from the parts he had, but it proved more difficult than he'd anticipated. Finally, over a month later, it was done. Kriegen had successfully constructed his own lightsaber. He waited impatiently for his father to return home from work so he could show off his new weapon, so that he could hear his father say how proud of Kriegen he was...but he never came home. It wasn't until his mother returned home late that night that he learned what had happened: Jaden Aurorus had been murdered.
Stricken with grief, Kriegen ran out into the night, though he didn't really know why. Maybe he didn't want anyone to see him cry. He returned home the following morning to be with his mother, doing his best to comfort her, even when he himself needed to be comforted. It was at that moment that Kriegen vowed that he would track down his father's killer, and make him pay for what he'd done. And that's exactly what Kriegen did. Whenever he wasn't training or attending classes, he was at every cantina he could find, or on the Holo-net, searching for any information that might lead him to his father's killer, even going so far as to break into the police station investigating his father's murder, and steal the evidence surrounding his father's death. But it was no use. His search proved fruitless, and even the police were unable to ever locate the killer. The only concrete evidence they had was an unregistered, unmarked blaster with no prints, DNA, or anything on it that could be used to find the culprit. Two more years passed, and as Kriegen's control and knowledge of the Force grew, so did his desire to hunt down the man who had killed his father. Ordo, who had also become somewhat of a surrogate father for Kriegen over the past two years, noticed Kriegen's growing anger, and constantly warned him of it. He knew why Kriegen was angry, and he told him that revenge would not bring back his father. He'd seen many a young Jedi fall to the Dark Side in pursuit of revenge, and he wasn't going to let Kriegen end up the same way.
Kriegen's resolve would not waver, though Ordo never relented. Kriegen's desire to find his father's killer and make him pay for what he'd done grew with each passing day, but he couldn't find them on his own, and he couldn't get the information or resources that he needed without credits. So he took up a contract to either bring in or kill Theo Rodan, a spice trafficker who had recently been spotted in the Undercity of Coruscant. Armed with his lightsaber, the Force, and a Tral-tech Needler, Kriegen hunted down the trafficker's base of operations, as well as two kidnapped Twi'lek women.
When Kriegen was done with the trafficker, there was barely enough left of Rodan for him to be identified so that Kriegen could collect his bounty. The two Twi'lek's never forgot what they witnessed that night...nor did they ever forget it.
He then used the credits he had earned to purchase information about the weapon used to ill his father, and was finally able to trace the pistol used to kill his father to a Rodian named Reevo. A few more months passed, and Kriegen finally received word that Reevo was back on Coruscant. After finding the Rodian in Undercity, and tailing him back to his apartment, Kriegen sealed the two of them inside, and proceeded to torture Reevo over the next day, both physically and mentally, until Reevo practically begged Kriegen to just kill him. Before he did so, he asked Reevo if he remembered a man named Jaden Aurorus. After refreshing the Rodian's memory, he demanded to know why the Rodian killed his father.
All Reevo said was, "Because I wanted to."
Kriegen became enraged, and flung the Rodian around the apartment, his anger fueling the Force as he slammed the already near-dead Rodian into every surface in the apartment. He then used the Force to crush Reevo's ribcage inward, the broken ribs piercing his lungs and heart. Kriegen stood there and watched as the Rodian thrashed about in his death throes, and felt a dark glee wash over him at the silent agony on Reevo's face. He then returned home, a weight seeming to have been lifted from his shoulders.
After that, Kriegen returned to his normal day to day routine. He continued his training with Ordo, refining his abilities, and even learning how to to properly dual-wield two lightsabers. He'd also convinced Ordo to speak with his sister's master, so that he could reconnect with her. Everything seemed to be going well for Kriegen...until hismother was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. She was given only a few months to live if it remained untreated, but she couldn't afford treatment, having recently been laid off from her job, and now she was too weak to go find another one. So Kriegen took it upon himself to get the money. When he wasn't training with Veng, he took any job he could, ranging from bodyguard jobs or cargo protection, to collecting bounties for wanted criminals. During these jobs, he had time to refine his blaster skills, and even took the time to begin learning two new languages, Durese and Catharese. He hadn't grown up with Cathar parents, and had always thought it odd being a Cathar who couldn't speak Catharese, so he finally decided to learn it. With each job he did, be they big or small, he became more and more combat savvy, even finally getting the hang of deflecting blaster bolts with his lightsabers, though he still couldn't redirect them back at the shooter. He became a full fledged bounty hunter, using blasters, his lightsaber, and the Force to complete any and all jobs that he took on, though he always kept to his morals, for his mother. After every job, he sent the money to the hospital treating her, so that she might recover.
Unfortunately it wasn't enough. Annah Aurorus passed away sixth months after her diagnosis.
After the funeral, Kriegen left Coruscant. He kept in touch with his sister, who was nearing the end of her Padawan training, and Master Veng, but he didn't return for some time. He kept taking on odd jobs and bounties, doing what he could, taking on almost any job that paid well...and in doing so, he drifted further and further into darkness. He became ruthless and cold. The once caring, if a bit solitary Cathar was gone, killed by years of hardship, murder, and violence, and replaced with a cold, menacing bounty hunter. During this time, he actually practiced a few Force abilities traditionally deemed evil, such as lightning, and Crush, which he'd already used once before. Though he never truly got the hang of lightning, he became very adept with Force Crush, often using it to painfully finish off his opponents or targets, though he still continued to work on it, practicing on droids or limbs alike. But with each kill, each act of cold elimination, his soul grew darker and darker, and he very nearly Fell...but even on some of his shadier jobs, he still remembered that there were two people left in his life who loved him...and because of that, he never truly embraced the Dark Side.
After four years, Kriegen had attracted the attention of a crime lord on Taris, who had a contract of great interest to Kriegen: hunt down a Dark Jedi in the Taris Undercity. Unfortunately, Kriegen was nowhere ready for what he faced. If he'd had help, he wouldn't have nearly been killed, but he'd become so solitary and cold that he only ever worked alone, and any bounty hunter who met him immediately took a disliking to him because of his demeanor. But he was certain he'd have no trouble with this Dark Jedi.
Boy was he wrong. All of Kriegen's knowledge and skill was truly put to the test in his duel with this Dark Jedi. Every trick he'd learned, his years of practice and meditation, it was all just barely enough to allow Kriegen to best the Dark Jedi, but he endured the Dark Jedi's attacks, until he had a stroke of luck. The Dark Jedi over-committed to a blow he intended to cleave Kriegen in two, and Kriegen had an opening. One slash of his blade, and he sliced off the Darksider's arm at the shoulder. As a final insult, Kriegen took the Dark Jedi's lightsaber for himself, then used both of his blades to decapitate the Dark Jedi. After collecting the credits he earned for the Dark Jedi's head, he purchased a used LMSR-11 "Centurion" that he christened Singularity, and returned home to see his sister, now a full-fledged Jedi Knight, and Master once more. Kriegen's near-death encounter had made him realize just how far he'd fallen, how much of a villain he'd truly become. So he changed, doing his best to regain his former morals, and even going so far as to work with other bounty hunters, though this has burned him on a couple occasions.
It is now 3600 BBY, and Kriegen is currently back on Coruscant after travelling the Outer Rim territories, taking on a few jobs along the way, and even finding an abandoned Anooba pup, which he took in (receiving some injuries in the process), and began to tame and train as a pet/guard dog. He has been doing his best to avoid the current conflict, but it hasn't been easy. Avoiding the Sith who would kill him for being a Force user that wasn't one of them, and avoiding the Jedi who might sense too much Dark Side in him and imprison him...well it hasn't been easy. Though he might get involved and side with the Republic...for the right price.

Kriegen hated nightclubs. They were always way too loud, and full of drunk morons who for some reason found him irresistable while they were intoxicated, even though he new none of them would even give him the time of day if they were sober. Not that he minded that last bit, though. He actually kind of enjoyed it when an inebriated female came up to him and asked if she could pet him, or a damn-near blacked out drunk male stumbled over and asked to buy him a drink, though that rarely happened. Still, the music that played over the sound system hurt his ears, and the lights were enough to give people with epilepsy severe seizures, and that more than overshadowed the occasional drunk flirts he received. But his client told him to meet there for some reason, so that was where he had to go. Seemed like an odd place to meet with a bounty hunter, though...in fact, as time went by, Kriegen grew more and more wary. He didn't have his blaster pistols or his rifle with him, since the bouncer never would have let him in with them, but he'd been able to trick said bouncer into thinking he was a Jedi, so he did have his lightsabers. But with so many intoxicated civilians around, if things went south and he was forced to use them, he'd have to be extremely careful not to harm anyone.
Man, he hated having to be careful. Careful was no fun.
Kriegen decided to at least order a drink while he waited. He signaled for a waiter and ordered a cask of Corellian rum, then looked around the club as he waited. There were several parties sitting at tables, drinking and laughing about...something, Kriegen didn't care enough to eavesdrop. The dancers between him and the door made it difficult to tell if anyone was approaching him, and they also made a pretty substantial obstacle should he be forced to bolt. But maybe that was why whoever called him here picked a nightclub...the whole thing was starting to feel more and more like a set-up as the minutes passed. And Kriegen wasn't about to sit around and wait for blaster bolts to start coming his way.
As soon as his cask of rum was set down, he tossed the waiter some credits and stood...just in time to notice three men with blasters in hand pushing aside intoxicated dancers. Suddenly, someone screamed when they noticed the blasters. Damn, Kriegen hated it when he was right. In an instant, he threw the cask at the thugs. As expected, one of them shot at it in a panic, and the alcohol inside splshed out on them, giving Kriegen enough time to unclip his lightsabers and ignite them, the green and red blades springing to life. Thankfully, the site of blasters had sobered up most of the clubbers, and the smart ones had scattered. Two lightsabers lighting up? Even the dumb ones scattered after that.
“I hope you know you three forced me to waste a perfectly good cask of Corellian rum, and I'm going to enjoy making you regret that,” Kriegen said, dropping into a modified high guard stance, holding his green blade over his head and his red blade in front of him. Once the thugs had wiped the alcohol out of their eyes, they started blasting away at Kriegen. Kriegen then spun his lightsabers around, deflecting the blaster bolts. Unfortunately for him, he'd never been particularly good at redirecting blaster bolts at the shooter. He could deflect them just fine, though. He needed to get closer if he wanted to take them down. Unless he got lucky, which...well he did, actually, redirecting two bolts at one of the thugs, a Rodain dropping him instantly. The other two were moving to dive for cover, just as Kriegen tossed his green saber at one of them, a Twi'lek. The blade passed through him at waist level, both halves falling to the ground.
The remaining thug, a human, lost his nerve after watching his two friends fall dead, so he turned and ran. Kriegen put away his lightsabers, then called one of the dropped blasters to his hand, took a second to aim, then switched the blaster to stun before firing, knocking the thug to the ground. He then called on the Force to crush the blaster, then took several slow, somewhat menacing steps towards the thug who was struggling to get up after the weak stun blast. He then delivered a bone crushing kick to the thugs head, knocking him to the ground, then held out his hand and lifted the man into the air. “I take it you're the dumb stubborn type who won't tell me what I want to know, am I right?”
The thug just snarled at Kriegen and spit on him.
Kriegen flinched, wiping away the spit on his cheek. He then lifted the thug higher, right before slamming the thug into the ground. Looks like Kriegen was going to have to persuade him to give him the name of the thug's client.
And he did so love making thugs talk.
