Character Faction: Republic - Military (Special Forces, Pilots, Army)

Number Of People Wanted: As many as possible

Reason For Roleplay: Because this would be the first Rep Mil group to go beyond planning phase in roughly five years. Need it bros and brodettes.

Other: These Sith are about to get rekt. I just need to finish a thread with Neo so my current Jedi can move factions and this one can get activated.

Basically the structure of this group would have my Jedi as the leader, but the special forces group's operations would be extremely loose. Not everyone would have to take part in threads. If you and another person want to do a thread mission, run it by me so my character can have knowledge of it (rp, yo) and go HAM and Cheese on those Sith scum.

Every so often we can do group wide threads that involve skirmishes, taking strategic objectives against the Siff/Mangolorians, or even going after criminals. 'cuz the Republic ain't got no posse comitatus.

Now for the types of characters I'd prefer to see. Again, I don't care so long as we can work them in.

---- Maaaaaaybe a Jedi. Only a Jedi Blade, though. Because this is a military group that is directly fighting enemies of the Republic. Completely against non-blade jedi.

---- Any Special forces soldier is more than welcome.

---- Army dudes if we can figure out why they're not with their unit

---- Pilots. Not only do dudes need to get from points A - B, but they'll also need ground support from gunships. So if you're willing to blow up those pitiful enemy grunts with big arse rockets and stuff, read no further.


---- I don't care, so long as we can fit the character in

Simply for the chance to have Arkoh suffer from being near Lila frequently, consider him and the Aegis signed up.

The ship is meant for landing on the surface and is fast and maneuverable, so I think it fits

If this plot actually gets active enough and stays active long enough... I would definitely consider the possibility of having Pak rejoin the military and become a fighter pilot/starship pilot for them again. But his personal baggage might be too great now for that to happen. Still...tossing in the idea.

Didn't add Pak yet due to the fact that you didn't sound sure and also that it seemed like he wouldn't join right away.

Okay. So I'd say 3 - 4 is more than enough to start dis schtick out. We'll do something simple and not terribly game changing -- busting up some Sith aligned privateers. This will give Arkoh something to do (even if he's playing by hisself) and us free license to bury some d00ds.

Side note: I plan on taking none of this particularly seriously, just in case you couldn't tell. If all of our plots were movies, then I want this to be an over-the-top action flick with one corny one liners and explosions. These, explosions, will always be at our protagonists backs. Because cool guys always walk away from explosions.

But, if you guys aren't for that, I'm cool with that, too. *shrug*

Y'know what, screw it.

I've got nothing going on with Doneeda, and I've been looking for a way to radically change what she's been involved with. Currently, she's a smuggler and a damn good pilot, and a decent mech.

She's also a criminal...soooo...

I can get her into the military, that's the easy part. She gets nabbed, then in court her choices are A: Go to jail, don't collect $200, and B: Sign a 5 year enlistment with the Republic military.

This will be hilarious on about 8 different levels, for various reasons, but, the point is, I was thinking about having her do something that perks the attention of our fearless leader, and gets her invited into this merry band of misfits. She can fly just about anything well, from a starship to a fighter to a gunship, so there's that.

I get that you want military characters, and I'd be willing to do an RP request and get some NPC's if necessary to "cover" her entrance into the military to make everything legitimate.

Also, action flicks need some T&A...

What do you mean rescued by your group? If that makes my life easier ( not having to round up other players, NPC's, do an RP Request, giving me microwave options on the TV dinner...) then I'm all for it.
