Name: Nagri Vitali
Race: Mirialan
Age: 22
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 165 Lbs
Appearance:
Nagri is a young woman with a slender yet athletic physique honed from years of training and fighting. Though skinny Nagri is also somewhat tall for a woman, though not quite a giant. As with any Mirialan her skin is a shade of green. Her hair is dark and worn short with a neatly-trimmed fringe. Like many Mirialans, her face is covered in black tattoos taking the form of black diamonds arranged in triangular formations under each eye and in the center of her forehead.
Since joining with the Sith Order Nagri has taken to wearing black robes with open sleeves that reach as far as the elbow and a skirt that hangs down as far as the knees. Over her shoulders she wears a black mantle with a hood that is fastened with a metal badge and around the waist of her robes is a belt with a silver buckle. The belt serves a practical purpose as a place to hold her lightsaber when not in use. Her forearms are wrapped in black tape.
Underneath her robes she wears a red, sleeveless top that exposes her stomach and red trousers that are tucked into her black boots.
Personality: When most people look at Nagri they see a woman who rarely speaks. Naturally introverted, Nagri disdains extended conversation unless absolutely necessary. She very rarely talks about herself - usually preferring to sidestep personal questions or change the subject when the topic comes up. Nagri is naturally distrustful of the people around her and as such maintains her distance.
Despite this, Nagri is not the patient stoic most would think of her. She is impulsive, often taking her gut instinct and running with it. This is not to say she has little self-control, but it is clear that what self-control she does have is something she's only begun to learn. When her impulses take over, she can have a tendency to reveal her inner darkness - her anger and fear combined in one. This often proves especially true when in combat, where she rarely holds herself back. She can be very aggressive and forceful in order to get the things she wants.
Nagri is not a complete fool however. She can see when she is on the losing end of a battle. As someone who prioritizes her own personal safety she is willing to abandon a losing battle to escape. Some would call her a coward, but Nagri cares little. She plays a game of survival first and foremost. After all, what good is seeking power if one dies before they can attain it?
Indeed, Nagri's life philosophy can be summarized as a fight for survival. It is not that the powerful are right to rule over the weak - rather, the only truth she sees in the Universe is that the powerful always rule over the weak. As such, she seeks to obtain power for herself - a desire that helped to lead her to the Sith Order in the first place.
Nagri also harbors a great vengeance towards the Jedi. Seeing them as traitors, she seeks to tear apart the Jedi Order. Indeed, the mere mention of the Jedi is enough to rile her.
But underneath it all, Nagri is a scared young girl, traumatized by the events in her life. More than anything she fear weakness and her attempts to embrace strength are a cover for this weakness.

Bio: Born on Mirial, Nagri was raised by a Mirialan couple who owned a humble bookstore. Nagri would always be following her parents around, never letting them out of her sight. And of course, her parents would often be the same - never letting Nagri out of their sight. She had a close connection with them. Often at night they would read stories to her before she went to bed. But at a the age of four her parents' bookstore was greeted by a pair of unusual guests from the Jedi Temple. Learning from them that she was Force sensitive, she was informed that she would be taken to one of the Jedi Academies to be taught the ways of the Force. Although somewhat reluctant to go, Nagri decided to become a Jedi at the behest of her parents, who saw it as an honor.
After being taken to the Jedi Academy on Coruscant, Nagri spent her days training to become a Jedi. She was taught all sorts of things from piloting to lightsaber combat, although none of it ever came easy. She struggled hard to keep up with her classmates, though she never gave up. Her efforts would begin to pay off as she began to do well in her studies. Still, however, Nagri's quiet, shy personality often meant she felt somewhat distanced from the other Younglings, who hung around one another like close friends. Nagri attempted on a few occasions to talk to her fellow Younglings, but even when she hung around with them she felt like an outsider. Even though they were willing to talk to her, Nagri's insecurities gnawed at the back of her mind, telling her that they were just being polite.
By the time she reached the age of ten she'd honed her skills enough to be noticed by one of the Jedi. Taken under a Jedi Master's wing, Nagri was taken to a chamber to construct her very own Lightsaber. Upon completion, Nagri watched in awe as her Lightsaber glowed green. Her master then informed her that her days as a Padawan had only just begun. Nagri's Padawan days had her following her master everywhere. She was a shy little girl, always feeling dumb whenever she had to ask her master questions, but her master never seemed to mind. She would continue to train whenever she could and aid her master in whatever way she could. Often her master could handle things by themselves, but Nagri was scared of becoming a burden to her master.
During missions Nagri began to insist on handling things by herself. Refusing to be a burden to her master she begged to take on tasks in order to prove herself as a Jedi. She would push herself hard to live up to her own high standards, but quite often her insecure, reckless streak would backfire upon her. It eventually became clear to her master that she was having problems. Rather than criticize her for her failures, however, her master decided to take a more hands-on approach, coaching her in proper lightsaber technique and attempting to teach her patience, insisting that she had great potential within her and that Nagri didn't need to perform daring, reckless feats in order to be validated. Touched by this gesture, Nagri took her master's words to heart.
As she began to grow older and somewhat more experienced she found herself helping out more and more. Even if it was only out of politeness, her master would not hesitate in asking her assistance when they needed it.
But Nagri's days of serving as a dutiful Padawan did not last forever. When Nagri was sixteen she accompanied her master on what was supposed to be a fairly standard voyage out to the Mid Rim. Her master wished to investigate an incident regarding smuggled goods in the Mytaranor Sector. Although they should have completed the assignment without problems, they did not anticipate the presence of slavers. During the assignment Nagri and her master were split up. While attempting to carry out her own task Nagri was knocked unconscious with an attack from behind and taken away. Although her master could sense a disturbance, they were already busy dealing with a firefight with the smugglers they were sent to investigate. By the time her master had dealt with the smugglers and returned to find her, Nagri was already off-planet.
For a few days Nagri sat in a small, cramped cell and ate what felt like the bare minimum to survive. After a few days her cell was taken out and handed over to a group of Trandoshans, who proceeded to load her cell onto a truck along with a variety of other species - all of them young. When the vehicle arrived at its destination, the youths were dumped into a forest on an island in the middle of the ocean with their cells unlocked. Left to wander around, it quickly became clear to Nagri just what had happened. The Trandoshans bought the slaves not to do chores or labour, but to serve as game for hunting season.
Nagri and the others would scatter and hide within the forest, doing everything in their power to avoid the Trandoshans, who were taller, stronger, better fed and better equipped than any of the youths. Even with superior numbers the encounters were decidedly one-sided, with the youths possessing no chance against the hunters. Frequently Nagri would find herself running for her life, ignoring the pain of hunger or injury. Every moment was filled with a dread that her next breath could be her last. Fear filled her very being. Through fear, a darkness began to seep inside.
As her hopes in the Jedi finding her dwindled, Nagri's survival instincts began to take over. Her morals and ethics began to dwindle as she found herself abandoning them in favour of ruthless pragmatism. She prioritized her own survival above all else - even the survival of other youths. She devoured whatever food she could find and always made sure she was never far from a source of water. But one day she couldn't throw anyone in between herself and a Trandoshan Hunter. She had no route of escape. She could only watch as the Hunter closed in. Then, in desperation, she lashed out with the Force. The Trandoshan ended up being pushed back, getting impaled on a sharp piece of wood. Before he could recover she grabbed his weapon and beat him senseless with it. The Trandoshan passed out and died long before she stopped hitting him.
Embracing her darkness, Nagri put together a scheme to escape. Taking a stone she sharpened it day and night until it had a point. Then she waited for the Hunters to drop off the newest batch of prey. Managing to sneak aboard their ship, she quietly, silently took out the few Trandoshans on board with quick, precise strikes. Hijacking the vehicle, Nagri was able to escape a full year after her initial capture and returned to Coruscant. But Nagri was no longer the person she once was.
Many were shocked to discover that Nagri was still alive. Upon her return, the Jedi Temple - and particularly her master - only cared that she was still alive. In her master's joy at knowing their Padawan survived an ordeal, they perhaps underestimated just how much Nagri had changed. Continuing to follow after her master, Nagri was determined to return to the life she once had. She tried hard to re-adjust to how she remembered life off of that Hunting Site had been. But despite her efforts, it began to become clear that she was not the person she once was.
Her tactics and methods became increasingly brutal and full of anger. It did not take long after she returned for her master to notice her disturbing behavior. Determined not to fail her again they tried to talk to her a couple of times, telling her that she needed to maintain focus. Nagri attempted to follow her master's wishes, but more and more she found herself slipping to the darkness within her. The world around her was unkind - why should she show it kindness? There were evil, twisted things. Paying evil unto evil was not undeserved, surely. But the Jedi eventually decided that her brutal, ruthless actions were not the Jedi way. Following an incident where Nagri killed several criminals in plain sight, she was confronted by her master and another Jedi. It was decided that she had gone too far. Only two years after returning to her home - the Jedi Temple - she was no longer welcome.
Nagri, feeling betrayed by her master, decided to escape. Utilizing the skills she'd developed in the Hunting Grounds she was able to avoid and escape them despite their superior martial skill and prowess in the Force. Stowing herself away on a merchant ship, she managed to escape Coruscant. But their betrayal left a deep wound. She suffered pain and humiliation to get back to them and they rejected her. Nagri now felt a burning anger where there was once love for the Jedi. She decided that she would never forgive the Jedi for their betrayal. For a full year she wandered the Galaxy, staying away from the Republic's eyes. Eventually, while in search of refuge from the Jedi and the Republic, Nagri ended up on Korriban.
Here, on Korriban, she discovered the Sith Order. They were training new Sith with the purpose of acquiring power. Tempted by the promise of power and a change to take revenge on the Jedi, Nagri decided that she would become a Sith. For the next two years she trained, working hard to improve her skill with a Lightsaber. She would become powerful. She would have her revenge. Most of all, she would no longer be the Prey. She would become the Predator.

The night was silent. From the trees no birds flew by. No leaves fell. No animals scurried along the ground. From the burnt-out fire pit not even a spark crackled. Only the wind moved, carrying a chilly breeze through the forest that reeked of death. It alone moved through the forest without fear, blowing every which way. The Mirialan in the tree branches felt its chill up her spine. It felt like a dagger tracing along her back. But she knew better. If it really were a dagger, she would already be dead.
How long had it been? It didn't feel like more than a day. She remembered that reality vividly - every night in her dreams and every day in her world. She taught herself to quiet her breaths. She taught herself how to make her body still. She taught herself to perceive vividly with all her senses. Back on that Trandoshan Moon, a mistake meant death. A victory meant life. Life and death. Victory and loss. Strong and weak. A small part of her thanked that horrific time - if nothing else, it taught her a fundamental truth that she'd always been too naive to realize. The Republic did not rule because it was righteous. It ruled because it was powerful. The Jedi were not respected because they were righteous. They were respected because they were powerful.
Honor, justice and bravery didn't matter. Only power mattered.
She gripped the hilt of her lightsaber. Her power. She was not yet strong. She learned much, but her body needed time to catch up. But she would be strong. She had no intention of remaining weak - not when she was within reach of power. She would climb her way up, no matter how difficult. She would survive, no matter how tough the challenge. She watched and waited, observing as a pack of people moved across the forest floor. They were not like her. They walked carelessly, blind to their vulnerability. Whether they believed themselves too weak to be considered important or too strong to even think of challenging, they remained blissfully unaware of their own vulnerability. Nagri could already see their necks.
She pushed forwards as they passed, racing along the branch. Through the trees she leapt, flying through the air above her prey. She raised the hilt and activated it, sounding her attack with the hum of a red blade. She began to snarl, gritting her teeth as she swung down at her prey below. Yes, they were her prey and now she was the predator. She would devour them all and become strong. It didn't matter who they were or if they deserved to die or not. She would devour them because she could. Because they were weak and she would become strong.
