Name: Jasper Chro
Race: Human
Age: 29
Birthplace: Coruscant
Allegiance: Republic
Status: Special Ops, Navy
Rank: Sergeant
Height/Weight: 6'3ft / 265lbs
Appearance:
Blue eyes, Brown hair and somewhat tall is something you can use to describe Jasper, it's not the most common description of him however. Fit, Well Trained, Soldier are also terms that tend to be used to describe him, though a bit more common than the previous they are still not the most used terms.
When looking at Jasper you'll see a somewhat average looking man, he's not super fit nor is he a slouch as being a Navy Commando prevents that. Whenever he's not on duty he'll be wearing a simple, black Blazer with a white shirt underneath, however even though he tries to keep himself wearing clean and clothes who are not in tatters, he isn't afraid of working on a combustion engine at the same time.
Along with the black Blazer he tends to either wear black or blue jeans, depending on the situation. If it's a fancier place he's heading to, it's on with the black jeans to give the impression of him wearing a full suit, he's working on the engine of a speeder? On with the blue jeans.
Personality:
Some terms which are quite common when used to describe him, is stubborn, aggressive and foolish. Being Force Sensitive he was taken in by the Jedi order at a very young age but when he wasn't accepted as a Padawan and instead sent to the Corps because of his Aggressive behavior it can somewhat paint a picture of him being up in everyones faces his fists without thinking first. It may be true to some degree but it's also not an accurate description of him, gone are the days of rushing into a fight only to realize that none of his friends are backing him up.
His work personality and free time personality differ widely. Whenever he's on duty he'll be a bit more quiet, focused and if fighting starts, he'll practically revert back to his old self, once again rushing into situations that might end up with him in a casket or worse. But that's why he enjoys his job in the Republic Military, it allows him to let loose when fighting starts, but he's also realized after almost getting killed a couple of times, that he can't be as wild as he prefers.
Whenever he's off duty, he's certainly much more approachable, more often than not he'll be smiling and be friendly in general, that is until someone upsets or insults him in a way which is not meant as a joke, jokes he can take, someone insulting him to make him pissed off, will get him pissed off quickly.
If you manage to see him drunk, which isn't too rare when he's off duty, expect to see someone who'll gladly share most of his life story in one sitting.

Biography:
Birth:
Jasper Chro was born 3629 BBY on the planet of Coruscant. His mother, Jen Chro, and his father, Axel Chro, had at the time, just moved to Coruscant from Naboo. His father worked as a Mechanic and his Mother was a housewife. However as they were about to leave the hospital, test results came in saying that Jasper, was sensitive to the Force. When approached with this the two parents made the decision to send him to the Jedi Temple so that he could receive Jedi training and one day, serve the Jedi Order. Well that didn't work out as planned.
Early Years:
Jasper's early years in the Order went along like they did for any other youngling, he followed the Elder's orders and did as told. However, unlike the other younglings, he was more impatient than the rest, often wanting things to be solved sooner rather than later and when his teachers began to talk about peaceful solutions and that they were better than taking to actions, it didn't work as expected. Instead, he found that it was just easier to punch someone to make them do what he wanted, instead of trying to convince them through peaceful solutions. On top of that, he found taking care of problems with the help of chairs or his fists was a lot more entertaining than trying to find a solution to said problem with the help of words.
This got him into trouble numerous times with the elders, every time he ended up in a fight, he'd have to spend an hour meditating with one of the elders in an attempt to try and make him more peaceful inside. But instead it made him resent the act of meditation. What also fueled his aggressive behavior was the fact that while he struggled with controlling the force, where most of the others in his group had no problems at all or exceeded expectations, he struggled to find the point where he could grasp the force as he just wasn't able to focus for long enough.
When the time got closer to becoming a Padawan, this lack in ability of using the force grew more obvious, as his 'classmates' slowly got accepted into becoming Padawans, he was left behind with a couple of others, what didn't help him getting chosen was that he ended up breaking the nose of someone who used to be his classmate but had been chosen to be come a Padawan the year before.
Instead, when his thirteenth birthday came along he was instead sent to the Jedi Corps, the Agricultural Corps to be specific. The plan was that he'd learn how to deal with his restlessness and aggression there, as it also meant that there wouldn't really be anyone around who he could harm. It didn't really work out that well either.
Leaving the Jedi:
With 210 various tools ruined, averaging out 3 and a half each month for five years in the Agricultural Corps, he had had enough. He had had enough of plowing dirt, he had had enough of waking up before sunrise to go out and start working, everything annoyed him about the Agri-corps and the day he turned 18, he left the corps and the Jedi order. Instead of trying to find his parents, which he wanted to, he had a different plan. He had at numerous times seen Republic soldiers walking around on Coruscant either just as they got off duty or were about to return to their stations, he had heard stories about legendary battles on far away worlds, glorified stories which he bought completely, Jasper wanted to be a part of that, and he knew where he had to go.
After enlisting to the republic he was sent to training, even though he was used to tough labor from the Agricorps, this was a lot tougher than that. But he liked it, it allowed him to focus his mind on improving himself physically and he didn't get berated for using his aggression. To him, it felt like it rewarded him in the Military. From the endurance training to strength, he enjoyed his time as a recruit, it was tough work, but he liked it. Unlike in the Jedi order, where he found that most of their training was mental training over physical, which was something he didn't find as enjoyable as it didn't show results as quickly as physical training did.
Just out of training:
As his training finished it didn't take long for him to get shipped out to his first mission in the Republic Navy. Though it wasn't what he had expected it to be. During the briefing he was going to be escorting a convoy on the planet of Naboo, his parent's home world.
When they first arrived on Naboo there wasn't that much for them to do other than to gear up and prepare for the trip between the checkpoints. The convoy moved slowly along the predetermined route and it didn't seem like a lot would happen during the trip. The first few hours had been peaceful and he felt somewhat calm on Naboo, though why, he didn't know. As the convoy had covered close to half the distance one of the engines shut down on the transport ship, forcing them to land while they waited for it to be fixed so that they could get back on the road.
The first time he felt a bit uneasy about the situation they were in was when the dark came, slowly night began to envelop the planet and they were stranded in the middle of a forest on Naboo with a dead engine, he had offered to take a look at it but the crew insisted that their mechanic should work on it while he and the rest of his squad kept looking out for any signs of trouble that might come their way.
He nodded and kept scanning the environment for any signs of anyone who might want to harm the convoy. As time passed it only grew darker until they reached midnight and the mechanic stepped out of the ship. "There, we're d-" His voice was cut short by the sound of a blaster, the shot lit up the camp for a moment, followed by the sound of the mechanic hitting the ground.
Time seemed to slow down drastically as Jasper turned towards the now dead mechanic, seeing the burn mark from the blaster on the side of his head. Everything in his head stood still for a moment before kicking in on highest gear. "SNIPER!" He called out, the four others in the squad, sent there to protect the crew and the cargo immediately raised their rifles, looking around the thick forest for any signs of movement.
When they had been briefed about the mission, they had been told that there had been some signs of bandit and pirate movement in the area. Another shot from the shooter came in from a different direction, either the shooter had moved or there was two shooters.
A third shot, this time from the same direction as the first one, once again the shot missed and hit the ground. Deciding to take charge he told one of his squad mates to follow him as he moved towards the forest, using the ship itself to break line of sight between the two and the shooter as they made their way into the forest.
The two soldiers made their way a couple of meters into the forest before they started to make their way north and then turning towards where the shots had come in from, keeping the ship itself within sight.
After they were sure they had ended up behind the two possible shooters they split up just as another shot was sent towards the ship, different angle this time. But it revealed the position of the shooter as he dropped out of a tree and hunched down before making it's way over towards a different spot. Jasper looked over towards his squad mate, seeing that he had him covered he slowly walked up through the foliage, taking careful steps as he approached the shooter who was lining up for another shot, this time aiming in on the pilot who was looking out from the ship.
Just as Jasper got behind the shooter he stepped on a branch which snapped, making the shooter turn his head suddenly towards him, followed by Jasper greeting him with the stock of his rifle.
After the hit from the rifle the shooter had been knocked out and before they stepped out of the forest they made sure that he was the only shooter in the area. Dragging the shooter out towards the ship, the pilot could identify an emblem on the shooter's shoulder to be that of pirates. After a quick dismantling of the rifle as well as tying down the hands and arms of the shooter they put him down in the ship.
As they stepped onto the ship again it started up with ease and the convoy was once again on the move. Luckily for the convoy and the rest of the crew, there were no further breakdowns and the trip to Point B went smoothly. The mission was deemed a success by his superiors and because of his thinking of taking charge he was promoted, this was the first time he had been promoted, but it wasn't the last time either.
During the following missions he continued to do well enough, though he didn't get promoted each time, he stood out somewhat, seen as someone who wasn't afraid of taking charge, leading to him being evaluated by a different sector in the navy, the Spec ops.
Spec Ops Training:
After returning from one of his missions where he had been assigned as protection for more Convoys he was approached by a higher up, telling him that he was no longer part of his old squad, instead, he was being transfered to Spec Ops due to his quick thinking on earlier missions along with a short fuse when it comes to his mood. Instead of dismissing him they had decided to move him to a place where he'd be testing his skills regularly in harsh environments. Two hours later he was sent along with a few others away for the training that they required.
Once the ship landed on Carida the group met the people that were going to train them. After putting away their bags they were sent out on training. The training varied from survival to bomb disarming along with basic piloting training included to make sure if their pilot was either killed or otherwise unable to pilot the ship.
When the three months of training was done Jasper felt like he had been sent to hell and then been dragged back. But he also felt accomplished, he knew that he'd never had the chance to do something like this had he been with the Jedi and this was something he wanted to do, to be able to make a difference.
Into the Jungle:
As the ship returned to Coruscant he had barely had time to meet his new squad when they were sent off on a mission, he was told to prepare for a mission in a highly forested planet and to be ready in 2 hours. What they got to know about the mission was that they were being sent to Kashyyyk to improve relations with them and the republic by rooting out some slavers.
Jasper had never been on the planet they were being sent to until the drop ship entered orbit and it was minutes from launch. "Welcome to the jungle." The Pilot said as it landed on on the jungle planet, the reason to why they were on a planet that wasn't under republic flag was because of what he had been told earlier, Slavers, and that the republic wanted to improve the relationship with the Wookiees. So, as they exited the ship, in the middle of nowhere seemingly, Jasper could already tell he wasn't going to like the planet. He hadn't enjoyed being in his full armor back on Naboo because of the warmth and Kashyyyk was even hotter and more humid as well. He looked to the Squad leader who gave them a run down of what they could expect, there was supposedly a small group of slavers hiding on the planet, having boarded a Republic ship and then bee lined to Kashyyyk in hope of being able of evading the republic. But, the Republic had managed to track the ship and after talking to the wookiees they had the approval to go in and dispatch the criminals.
The Squad of five men made their way through the jungle, keeping their eyes peeled as they headed in the direction the ship's signal came from, two hours, it took them two hours to walk there but it was better than to risk getting shot down by Anti-Air fire. As they caught sight of the makeshift camp the slavers had created the squad raised their rifles and spreading out. Jasper was sent to approach the camp from the south while the others spread around, surrounding the camp. From where he was he could see the ship, and so far, he couldn't see anything that could have harmed the drop ship, but, at least he didn't have to walk all the way back after they were done.
"Get ready." He heard the Squad Leader's voice through the intercom, Jasper moved over to a tree trunk, raising his SM82 he moved his left hand up to the launcher attached underneath the barrel, pulling it down before reaching down to his belt, taking out one of the flare shells and moving it into the barrel before closing it. "Jasper Ready." He replied, the rest of his squad followed suit shortly after. "Fire."
The Camp was barraged with flares coming in from five different directions blinding most of the people inside the camp with the initial surge of light as the flares ignited, as panic firing started to come from the camp the squad went in. Small arms blaster fire was heard followed by bursts of automatic fire from the other rifles. Jasper moved in towards the camp, catching two of the slavers about to run for the ship, he raised his rifle and pulled the trigger and released it as they fell down onto the ground. "2 Hostiles down." He reported as he moved in closer, checking a couple of the tents he found some tied up men and women before moving on. The fighting stopped only a few minutes after it had started. The squad had completed the step one of the mission, now it was time to secure the hostages then call the drop ship. He moved back to where he had seen the men and women tied up, moving into the tent he lowered his rifle, letting the sling hold it close to him as he moved up to them and setting them free.
As he exited the tent the rest of his squad was moving the dead slavers into a line on the ground, moving the fabric of the tents over the bodies as the drop ship made its way down through the trees carefully. The mission had gone smoothly and it was time to head back to the ship to report back to Command and prepare for their next assignment.
Roleplay Sample:
"Why. Won't. You. Work?!" Jasper growled at the engine, for the fourth time he had to start dismantling the entire thing again to try and get it running, but no, the engine had been dead since he got it. "Stupid Jawas... selling me a dead engine..." Grabbing a screw driver he began to loosen the screws that were the easiest to reach without having to remove any parts before he began to slowly remove part after part.
When he finally had gotten most of the engine stripped down he began to look over the pieces one by one, trying to see what kind of damage they had received. After spending an hour of closely looking at the various parts from the old combustion engine he had still not found anything, he was starting to realize why they weren't used any more, but he had an interest in them which he couldn't explain, they just, interested him.
As he continued to look at the parts he realized that he'd to repair a few parts as well as try to buy new parts, this wasn't going to be fun. Thinking he heard something he looked up from the engine and towards the open door, he had it open so that air could flow freely in and out of the room he was sitting in, but, it had the downside of making it so that people could sneak up on him when he wasn't expecting it.

"Why. Won't.
