Also dropping in to remind that Chariot, Valcor and andas009 have dropped out for the time being, so nobody should be waiting on them to post in here again until they drop in here to announce their return/rejoining.

Okay, as I think I mentioned before, I had been thinking of taking Looma out of this early. To explain why she's not in the later threads/later part of the battle.

So... I figure a good time to do so might be with this fight with Jaidan vs. her and Lancy. I was figuring some kind of wound/injury that isn't life-threatening (obviously) but enough that her master might want to send her off to the medical tents (or even evac her or something). Maybe a broken limb, perhaps. An arm, maybe. Something that would just piss her off but be incapable of continuing to fight without getting more hurt.

I only mention this in case there is an idea, DreadPirateMike, of how to do this. No pressure, though. I can totally just do it on my own, haha. Have her fall and get hurt or something. Use an NPC Sith. Whatever.

But I thought I'd just toss this in here as an FYI that Looma won't be lasting the whole thread (or duel, for that matter).

Sure, Mara, sounds fine. And I've got a couple ideas that might work. Just depends how grievous your range for how badly she gets hurt might be. Nothing permanently disabled or disfigured, save maybe her pride is what I'm getting?

I think her getting hurt would be a good turning point to get snowflake out of there and to also have lancy's cool and collected mannerism start to crack and pave down for his outburst (and who knows what else) in HoT.

Yup, basically!

Something that would take her out of the battle but would heal after awhile.
Like a broken arm or something.

I'll just see how the fight progresses... and where I can toss in the injury.

The other staffers and I talked a bit; With the general stalled-ness of this story event, we have voted to begin Operation Completion.

Working together to weave the main story element/themes to closure, we'll all be posting and posting often until the Horror on Taris plotline is complete.

Ash you should totally post. I literally do not care if it's two sentences about tripping over some rubble and flying out a window while trying to execute some awesome Kung Fu move, but I want a fight scene. And one way or another, I shall have it. 

Speaking of which, sparrow, I would love to get in a bit of a rumble at some point before the thread peters out entirely.

Okay, so this is what I'm thinking with Looma re: getting her out of the fight --

Mike, maybe you could have Jaidan Force throw her against a wall or whatever.

Ash, not sure what you'll do, because this needs to happen. Maybe Lancer gets there too late?

In my post, I'll let it happen/the Force throw be effective. She'll be hurt, break an arm, whatever. But be determined to keep the fight despite her injury.

Mike, your next post is up in the air.

Ash, then in your next post, you can tell her to get out of there or whatever.

Then I'll post her exit.

And then you two can have your epic duel or whatevs.

That works for me...provided I can spice it up just a little. A Force Push on its own is kinda boring. Looma's activated her lightsaber. Mind if I post a few blade clashes before Jaidan suddenly switches it up?
