A few? There's going to be a couple of threads for this, I'd imagine, so there could be people coming and going. If there's missions involved, this is open to enemy or adversarial characters as well! Furthermore, this will involve potential training missions to possibly improve Fenn's skills, so as to widen his range of abilities to suit the challenges a Jedi Knight would face.


Reason For Roleplay:
Since Fenn's practice duel with Verity has been viewed as his Trial of Skill, and that he's already taken his Trial of Flesh during his biography, I figure this might be an interesting aspect to cover; the transitional period between a Padawan and Knight. Could lead to a lot of twists and turns if the Bothan's up to the task, or potentially fails. ;p


Other: Obviously, looking for some higher ranked Jedi to assess, but that said, I would TOTALLY be keen to jam with equal or younger Jedi as well, either for advice or practice or all manner of things. If you're interested, let me know here! :3

I thought our duel was going to be Fenn's Trial of Skill? I mean, fighting Veri isn't all that courageous since he knows she's not really going to hurt him. (Additionally, Skill, Flesh, and Spirit are the big three as far as Jedi Trials and SWU go.)

I'd obviously be willing to volunteer Verity to asses his other tasks if needed. Sadly it will be a bit before I'm done working on her application.

Neo, you're absolutely right and I totally spaced on the name, thank you for catching that. I full-well intend to keep with that idea, and I've been meaning to say, please don't go easy on the fuzzy guy because of that! I'm interested either to see him pass -or- fail; could lead to a lot of interesting stuff either way!

That would be cool! Jedi Battlemaster and all that would totally have to okay a Jedi in terms of abilities, skill (hence the trial, I suppose) and whatnot necessary for swingin' a lightsaber right. Suppose they could have some further training, either open up some other forms to suit the Bothan, or further delve into Shien a bit more. :3

Or even simple interaction, too; chances are Fenn's going to be patching up one of her paddies again. Either way, I'm happy to wait, so don't feel rushed or obliged. :3

Dutch, I'd totally be happy to have a Sith involved in this and, if you're hinting at your Sith boy there, I fully welcome you to join in the fun. A solo mission somewhere on the fringe of Republic space could totally lead to an encounter, after all! Talk about a real test, eh? Besides, that talk in the duel with Murdock's character of Fenn potentially having the grounds to turn to the Dark Side is something I wouldn't mind exploring in character.


Not that I'm planning to have him jump ship, but being tested on a moral ground like that would certainly be a make or break moment for him, as the grounds are there for the boy to break or come close to it, if his fears and uncertainties are exploited properly.
