ENN- In one sense, a reporter for the Imperial News Network has one of the best jobs in the galaxy; the news is generally pretty good, and theirs is the smiling face that conveys it to the citizenry. The people must bear setbacks, of course. Loyal families must bear the sacrifice of their brave sons and daughters on the battlefield in tragically increasing numbers, treason is revealed among the trusted, and so on. But there is always a happy ending. The lies are exposed, and the wicked always meet justice. The Republic is weak and decaying while the Empire knows victory after victory in its quest to bring reason, security and vitality to a galaxy sorely in need of it.
The only problem is that it can be difficult to feel like much of a journalist. Talking points are always passed down more or less directly from Imperial Command. Star shattering revelations always bear the stamp of approval from Imperial Intelligence. As such, those looking to report for this network should both enjoy and have a little flair for a bit of propaganda. Or, for those that love a challenge, maybe you're one of those brave and principled souls looking to carve out a bit of independence, making use of celebrity or a few friends in the right place to get out the unedited version?
