A tall and imposing individual bearing a great physical presence, Fal was the end result of decades of arduous training. Like the rest of his species, his hairless head is crowned by vestigial horns developed at puberty. His body is muscular and defined while his skin is tan. Fal's facial features are dominated for a firm mouth, strong jaw and serious green eyes. In addition, like most members of his species, his face is branded with thin tattoos in a pattern of twin symmetrical lines that connect on the middle of his forehead and run down his cheeks as if they were fangs.
Benefiting both the monastic life of the Jedi Order and the fact that he serves with the Jedi Blades on the frontlines, Master Tolvus wears a mixture of traditional dark brown robes, boots and utility belt, accompanied by dull grey plasteel arm-guards outfitted with a personal comlink and paudrons, giving him some protection that still allows him to move freely on the battlefield. Over all this, he wears a long hooded cloak.
Personality:
"Victory is secured, not from a throne, but from the front lines."
Stalwart member of the Jedi Order, Fal represents many of the values that the millennial Order held. However as an adult he developed to become a strict yet with a solid sense of honor and duty to the galaxy.

A man with a set of beliefs and principles, he considered that is out there, in the galaxy, where the Jedi could do a real difference against both, criminals and darksiders, thus he spends little time within the Jedi temple in Coruscant, taking missions that usually have him away from the temple. While a man that has fully dedicated himself to peace, he understands and accepts that it is sometimes through war that peace can only be maintained.
While sometimes a blunt man, he does understand when he should keep quiet as not to speak out of tone. Considered someone of great skill, he chooses not to bask on the praise that some would give him, preferring to hold a humble demeanor do not allow arrogance to take a hold of him. Seeing the troubles of the galaxy has hardened him and as such he allows himself little display of emotions.

Biography:
Fal Tolvus was born on Iridonia to Meetra Tolvus, a zabrak technician that lived in the world and Jaylen Sene, a mercenary that left Meetra upon the news of her pregnancy. Seeing that the job options in her world and with her young son to raise by herself, she sold most of her valuable belongings and bought a passage for her and her infant son to the capital of the Galactic Republic, Coruscant.
For Meetra, life would improve slowly. Months of taking menial jobs within the ecumenopolis would only ensure minimum housing and food for her and her two year old son. Preoccupations griped the mind of the female zabrak as she knew that she would soon be sent to Denon on a job and could not possibly take her son with him.
It was then that perhaps fortune intervened for the woman. A few months before his third birthday, Fal fell ill. Desperate, Meetra took her son to a public hospital, to see if he could be cured. While his illness was just a simple fever, through a blood analysis, one of the Doctor's discovered that the boy was Force Sensitive.
Still griped with preoccupations due her impending assignation to Denon and her inability to take Fal with her, Meetra would consider to quit her job and take another one. However one day someone knocked her door and presented himself as a Jedi Knight sent by the Order with the intention to take the boy so he could begin training. But he also remarked that he would not take the boy by force and that the decision was up to her.
At first she felt unwilling to give her son away. But seeing that her life and that of her son was difficult as it was and that what the Jedi offered was possibly a better life than what she could do for him. The Jedi offered to give her time to consider the proposition and left, indicating that he would come within a week to hear her answer.
With contemplation she spent that week with her son as she decided what should she do. When the Jedi arrived a week after his departure, Meetra, with a heavy heart, decided that it was for the best that Fal became part of the Order. The Jedi, empathizing the sadness that Meetra experienced, gave the two one more day for mother and son to be together. The next morning the Jedi finally took Fal with him. He never saw or knew of his mother again.
First Steps
For the first few years, Fal would begin his life with the Jedi living with other children of his age in one of the nurseries. Having a typical education and enjoyment that a normal preschool child would have, this under the oversight of the caretakers. Days would go by with lessons intermingled with playing with his peers until he became of the age of five, in which his training and proper schooling began.
His life and that of his peers shifted into a strict regimen of study and training. Lessons ranging from history, sciences, mathematics, languages, political strategy and galactic law would fill his mind with the knowledge of a broader galaxy that he so much wished to get to know more and explore every corner of it. Lessons continued as his instructors would teach him how to reach and wield the Force in its three aspects. And while he was on par with most of the members of the clan in which he was sorted to, his instructors began to notice his natural aptitude for the use of the lightsaber as he would assimilate the early lessons of Shii-Cho at a faster pace than his companions.
While the training he endured during this years was hard for anyone of his age, this did not translate into frustration with no one. Only a drive to continue and learn more. His relationship with most of his peers and instructors was a good one, although he was noted for being brash and impatient, taking pride of his abilities with the lightsaber.
During this early age he would become close friends with many of the other younglings of his clan, all sharing the same dream of becoming a great Jedi in the future. However one would turn into a friendly rivalry with a Kiffar girl named Cinzia Konshi. Both of them often teasing the other as they would compete to see who was better at a given discipline or subject.
By the time he was ten years old, he was eligible to be taken as a Padawan. However it would seem that no Jedi Knight or Master would take him as an apprentice. As each day passed he feared that he would turn thirteen and no one would take him, sending him to the Jedi Service Corps, a position that he didn't wish for.
However he saw opportunity as the Jedi Temple Apprentice Tournament was going to take place within six months. It was during the months preceding the tournament that he would prepare himself, training all he could so he could become a padawan. He would turn eleven during this time, waiting with anticipation for the day of the tournament.
The day of the tournament he was nervous, like most of his peers. As his group would march into one of the Jedi Temple's sparring arena's, Fal and the rest would notice the Knights and Masters that had flocked to the temple to observe the younglings during the tournament. The young Zabrak fell a tug from his rob, turning to see Cinzia, who was also participating in the tournament and wishing him good luck which he told replied the same.
During the first round he was placed against a member of another clan, a male, red skinned Nitko. Their duel was brief as Fal would find a way to pass his defenses and score the three burns for the victory and advancement to the next round. His next opponent was a fellow member of his own clan, a Mon Calamari that proved to be tougher than his last opponent as he was aware of his tactics. At the end Fal would advance, holding an advantage of three burns against two.
Due his skill he managed to reach the upper group against each other in a free-for-all match. Before it begin he would notice that some of his clan mates, including Cinzia had made it. As the match begin, it was chaotic, with many younglings flailing their training lightsabers only to be taken out the sparring ring due carelessness. With few apprentices remaining Cinzia and Fal would lock blades, with her managing to score twice on him before he could rally, striking the Kiffu girl twice on her arms.
They were evenly matched, however Cinzia would triumph, as with a roundhouse kick she would knock out Fal, sending him to the infirmary. Upon regaining consciousness, the young Zabrak believed that no one would choose him as an apprentice now that he had lost. However it would not be such case. Days after his defeat, he would be called to the office of one of his teachers. Despite fearing that he would be reassigned to the Service Corps, as he entered the office, not only did he saw the middle-aged human female that had being part of his early life, but also a tall frame of a Kel Dor.
The teacher would present the Kel Dor as Jedi Master Dural Zym. There Zym would tell the boy that despite his defeat, he had thought of his performance during the tournament as impressive and due that he wished to take him as Padawan. Overjoyed, Fal accept becoming his Padawan learner, however he was warned that his training would be harsh and often without a reward other than doing good for the people of the galaxy.
Under His Wing
The first years of his apprenticeship under Dural Zym were relatively tranquil as not only they saw the Kel Dor Jedi Master begin to pour his teachings and believes into the boy, but also saw how Fal began to mature, growing the vestigial horns native to his species, being well aware that this meant the rite of passage of his species was near, he also opted to receive the thin facial tattoos in order to reflect the culture of his people. Not only the changes were physical, but also in personality, as the young man would begin to adopt many traits for which he would be known in the future in his personality due his master's influence. In time Fal Tolvus would see Master Dural Zym as a father figure. Maintaining a humble demeanor when he met praise and keep a stalwart disposition as he kept his duty to the Force, the Republic and the Galaxy.
By the time he was fourteen, Master Zym would conclude that his young apprentice was ready to craft his first lightsaber. Taking him to Ilum. Journeying through the frozen tundra, the two managed to reach the temple hidden within the snow and thus Fal journeyed through the glittering caves in search for a crystal. As he took more steps, there was a faint whisper that called for him. While the crystals that were sewn unto the rock seemed beautiful, for some reason as he progressed they would strike him as dull, yet he continued the path, noticing that the whisper grew in strength until he found himself facing a lake within the cave system that was not frozen. Yet at the other shore, lay an emerald gem that called for him.
Desperate to get the gem he jumped into the freezing water, yet as he attempted to swim for the crystal he did little advance forcing him to return to the shore. It was then that he felt remembered one of the lessons that his master had imparted him. He had to have patience and trust in the Force. Fal would kneel on the shore of the subterranean lake and meditate. Time would pass, and thus the temperature of the cave would begin to slowly freeze the subterranean lake until the ice was strong enough to allow the young zabrak pass to the other shore. Upon opening the green of his eyes he found this to be true and with a patient gait, he found the other shore and retrieved the green crystal which resulted warm to his touch.
The Zabrak would return to his master, proudly showing him the green crystal in his hand. With a nod the Kel Dor Master approved. During the next weeks, Fal would design his lightsaber and gather the materials required to construct it. It was within the next weeks that he would immerse himself unto the Force as he attempted to construct his lightsaber. Many attempts were made and there were many failures.
But after a long month of design and creation, Fal had finally constructed his own lightsaber, one which he felt as an extension of himself. Approving of his pupil's progress, the Master and the Apprentice would begin to take more complicated missions, while at the same time, Master Zym would begin to impart his lightsaber style on the young man, noticing that due his built and aptitude such technique would be of benefit to him in the darkness that he sensed was to come in the future. He would also instill the idea that he should take time and train other skills such as piloting, mechanics and military strategy.
The missions the two faced over the years would range from tracking criminals as well to disarm criminal gangs and even capture Dark Jedi, spending much of their time away from Coruscant. By the time Fal was twenty, it was during one of this missions on Druckenwell, in which the Master and Apprentice would team up with Miralukan Jedi Knight Melida Din and her Padawan, Cinzia Konshi, at the Council's behest. After years of not seeing each other, their greeting was a rather awkward one. However soon they discovered that they still maintained the friendship they had as children. Placing their attention to the mission, the group of Jedi would spend weeks following leads while on the industrial world.
It was then when the two young Jedi followed a lead and manage to get information from one of Urthas Vadum's thugs. With this information, they learned about a meeting between Vadum and those that followed him. Soon they spoke to their masters and they decided that it might be worth using such information as a way to finally apprehend the Dark Jedi.
The night in which the meeting was supposed to happen, the group of Jedi sneaked into one of the warehouses in one of the many industrial areas of the planet. And while in effect, the Dark Jedi was there along with all his accomplices, it was a trap. Sensing danger the danger that came from the explosives planted on the catwalks of the werehouse the four Jedi jumped and begin to engage their assailants. Explosions rocked the place as the warehouse, sending debris down on them. Masters Zym and Din begin to engage the Dark Jedi while their apprentices held the blaster wielding assailants. It was then when a huge explosion blinded him and both Fal and Cinzia fell as the ground around them collapsed.
He awoke hours later, his nostrils being invaded by a combination of dust and the foul stench of sewers, the Zabrak got up among the rubble, feeling a searing pain on his side. Using his tact he found that a side had being pierced by a bent durasteel bar, thankfully not touching any organ. He heard the voice of Cinzia, calling for him and so he did, shouldering the pain that he felt.
Digging through the rubble he found Cinzia laying against a permacrete wall, blood trickling from her left temple but otherwise fine. Noticing his wound, the Jedi Padawan moved next to him, pulling the bar and begin to heal him using the Force. Feeling her warmth through the Force he felt more comfortable as she healed him. Thanking her, he laid against the same wall as both thought on a way to leave the collapsed sewer system.
At first the two came to bicker and then talked about the time in which they were younglings and how far it seemed. It was then that the two would look at each other and confess their feelings that bad being harbored since they had being children. It was then, in the dark sewers that the two would share a kiss, which both would later agree that it had more to do with the situation they had found themselves in than anything else. Yet a part of him remained confused about the situation.
Getting back to the matter of leaving the sewers in which they decided to follow the stream until they find an exit from the sewers. While they advanced, a part of him was confused of what had happened between him and Cinzia. After a while the two managed to ascend into the surface. Meeting their masters who informed them that Vadum had escaped. The Jedi returned to Coruscant to give their report to the Council and be assigned a new mission. With the briefing over Master Zym approached his Padawan, sensing confusion within him. Deciding not to disclose what had happened, Fal made up an excuse about what had transpired in the mission.
By the time he was twenty-two, his Master deemed his training was complete and that he was ready to partake the Jedi trails. But before he could actually take them, the pair of Jedi was sent on a last mission as master and apprentice, once more on the trail of Dark Jedi Urthas Vadum accompanied by their partners from their failed mission This time the Jedi traveled to Nar Shaddaa. The decadent ecumenopolis built on the moon of Nal Hutta being the location of the hideout of the Dark Jedi. For weeks the group would try to find leads and information. Until they finally had the location of Vadum's hideout and information that he was about to leave the world for an extended period of time.
With little time to waste the group sneaked into the lair, but were detected by the detection systems. As the thugs in service to Vadum cornered them the four Jedi found themselves in the position to fight their way to the Dark Jedi. Being met by a hail of blaster fire the four lightsabers sprung to life and deflected and redirected most of it at their assailants. They continued to advance forth until at some moment, one of the chambers they where in shifted, walls and floors moved apart and then the Padawans were separated by their Masters.
The two padawans continued to advance through the lair and it's many halls, rooms and chambers, until they finally reached the basement in which they found Urthas Vadum. Seeing little option both would engage the Dark Jedi, being a match for him with their combined powers and skills, but tragedy would struck soon.
As the duel dragged on, Vadum separated both Jedi, by using a powerful telekinetic blast to send Fal crashing against a column. Dazed and in pain he would attempt to regain his footing, whilst Cinzia was rapidly being overwhelmed by the Dark Jedi's power and his aggressive Jar'Kai style. It was then when Fal saw an image that would haunt him for the following months. As the Dark Jedi slashed both of his blades against the flesh and midsection of Cinzia.
Feeling her pain through their bond, the young Jedi leaped, blocking the strike that would put her out of her misery and fought the fallen Jedi with a courage that he didn't know he had. With one solid swing he disarmed the Dark Jedi of one of his weapons and then pushed him back, battering his defenses with his Djem So offensive. Vadum rallied and thus the duel became a back and forth affair between the two of them. Until in a decisive parry, he managed to land a slash across the chest of the Dark Jedi.
Panting he would deactivate his lightsaber and rush to the side of Cinzia. Knowing well that her wound was fatal, the two shared a final moment, with the young woman expressing that she indeed had feelings for him and apologizing for sowing confusion in him. Fal would only comfort her by holding her hand as she passed, silently mourning her until their masters would arrive.
With their return to Coruscant, the trio of Jedi would relay the result of the mission. While the loss of Cinzia Konshi was to be mourned by those that knew her, Fal's victory over the Dark Jedi was celebrated and upon request of his master and in light of his victory, this was to be considered as his Trail of Skill. The of death of Cinzia his close friend would be taken as his Trial of Flesh. Only the Trail of Spirit remained.
Days later the Trial of Spirit would commence as the young Jedi would seep into meditation under the careful guidance and watch of his master and several members of the council. At first there was nothing as seconds and minutes would seem to stretch for eternity offering no answer until it begin. Fal would see vision of a powerful and cruel warrior wielding a green lightsaber, slaying and crushing everyone and everything that stood on his way. And it was then that the distorted voice of the warrior spoke to him.
He would turn to see to find himself, eyes blazing with a sulfuric yellow and red, filled with anger and hatred and an expression of contempt against him. The warrior claimed to be the real him, the darkness that had always inhabited within him and that it was finally time that he the control that was his by right. At first Fal denied this, that there was no darkness within him. But soon his shadow would make him face the truth. The anger and impotency he felt about not being able to save Cinzia and the disgust he felt at being so weak at that moment.
A brutal duel between the two Zabraks ensured within the vision. The strikes of the darkness making every bone in Fal's body shake, every parry and flurry driving him back even further, limiting his ability to counter the horrific offensive of his foe. Fear and doubt began to take hold of the Zabrak as the duel in the vision continued as he knew very well that defeat was only a matter of time.
But it was at that moment that he realized something. Instead of continuing to fight, he dropped his defenses, allowing himself to be impaled at the unbelieving look of his dark counterpart. Demanding an explanation of his action Fal would comply. He acknowledged that indeed there was darkness inside of him and that while his recent grief and anger for what had happened gave the darkness power, it was Fal, that through training, commitment and patience who controlled it, not the other way around and thus he rejected it. Bearing his anger, the darkness taunted him once more telling him that he would always be there, prying at his weakness to which Tolvus answered that he would strive not to grant power to it again. Upon opening his eyes he found himself exhausted, drenched in cold sweat for what had transpired in the vision he had lived. But finally at peace with the loss he had endured and able to continue forth to live and serve the Jedi, the Force and the Republic.
After a couple days of recuperation, the Zabrak would relay his recount of what had happened during the vision to the Jedi Council and of how he realized that while he wished to bring justice to the galaxy he had to be mindful of the struggle he would have to carry all his life, in order to avoid giving power to that darkness inside him.
With his recount the Jedi Council would enter on a short deliberation, discussing on what the young man had seeing and whether or not he was ready to become a Jedi. With the decision taken, he was called to the Council chamber and informed that he had passed his trails and was to be Knighted. It was with humility that he knelt before the Grand Master of the Order and under the prideful look of his master that his braid was cut, the scent of burnt hair filling his nostrils. He had knelt as a Jedi Padawan, a learner, but now, at the age of twenty-three, he would raise as a Jedi Knight, a defender of peace and justice in the galaxy, which he would advocate himself to for all his years to come.
The first years of his knighthood were spent mostly in mission and in training his skills with the blade and the Force. He didn't take a Padawan during this time. Feeling that at the moment he was simply not ready to take under his wing someone like his master had done with him and preferred to gain more experience on the field before spending years training a Padawan within a temple.
However by the time he was twenty-six, he felt that it was time to take an apprentice of his own and live a similar relationship like the one he had with his own master. The Zabrak returned to Coruscant in time for the Jedi Temple Apprentice Tournament, which brought many memories of the past. As the tournament commenced he would attentively watch each match as to see which of the younglings would caught his full attention.
As the preliminary rounds would continue none would attract his attention, or so it was until he saw a young male lethan Twi'lek. The skill and ability that he possessed with the lightsaber seemed to be above his peers. And with every victory he earned, the more the Zabrak was convinced that he would have to make the Twi'lek his Padawan.
After the tournament was over, Fal took time to ask about the boy from his instructors which would confirm what he had gathered as he saw his display during the tournament. With the permission of his teachers, he spoke with the boy, whom he learned that his name was Roccoto'ma, better known to non-Twi'leks as Rocco Toma, congratulating him for performance during the tournament and also telling him that he wanted to take him as a Padawan, but that decision of becoming his Padawan was his to take. Without little thought the young Twi'lek accepted and thus Fal Tolvus took Rocco Toma as his apprentice as the boy
The first month of Rocco Toma's apprenticeship were marked by a rocky relationship with his master. As the Zabrak would often demand from the young Twi'lek great levels of discipline and order. His training methods were hard, but never brutal, recognizing the effort that the young Padawan would place on his training, and complimenting the progress he showed in several fields.
With time, the relationship transformed from a rocky one, to one akin to the love and respect that were between a child and a parent. After two years of training and mostly diplomatic missions and with the construction of his Padawan's lightsaber, the Jedi Knight decided that Rocco Toma had received enough training to participate in missions outside the safety of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.
Like the missions he had lived before with his own Master, Tolvus and Toma would find themselves out of the Core Worlds, spending much time in worlds and communities in need, usually in the outer rim. This time also saw the more heavy integration of his preferred lightsaber form in the bladework of his student. The missions the pair would take would range from escorting diplomats, arresting criminals and even stopping criminal activities of several cartels.
Despite the father-son relationship that the Master and Apprentice shared, they would disagree with time to time, such as when Rocco Toma would shift his training as a Guardian to become a Jedi Sentinel, that with time he would learn to accept, as he understood that his apprentice would have to take his own path as he could not remain a Padawan for ever.
Peril would find them once more. As both Master and Apprentice were sent to investigate a string of murders that had seemingly no explanation on the homeworld of Toma, Ryloth. Upon landing on one of the two capital cities of the desert world, Lessu. They would link with the law enforcement of the planet as they would help to gather clues about who could have murdered so many.
With all the clues that the local law-enforcement provided, they determined mass murderer didn't only target Twi'leks, but also immigrated beings such as humans, rodians and devaronians. However their bodies were not mark by any sort of wound, be it with a blaster or with any sharp object. In fact there was simply no finger prints nor intent to take valuables from the victims which seemed to confuse the investigators.
However Fal had an idea of who could be behind this. Both Jedi, master and apprentice assumed deep meditation, intending to sense whoever was causing the murders. It took time for them to see through the Force and ephemeral glimpse of the always shifting future. But at last the answer he had being looking for was provided to him and thus he, his padawan and the law enforcement could proceed to plan a trap for the murdered.
It happened on one of the shadiest spots of Lessu, where the sun did not light the way and barely working street lamps would dispel little darkness. The two Jedi would remain vigilant, expanding their senses through the Force. However after hours of vigil nothing happened. It was until the two felt the coldness of the Darkside in their vicinity that both would venture to investigate. The same cold feeling would soon be accompanied by the cried of man and then guttural sounds.
And there they found her. A cackling Quermian dressed in ruined and soiled robes, holding one of it's slender hands as a fist, as a Devaronian female floated on the air and, gasping for air and holding her throat. Both Jedi would jump at their fallen brethren. The Quermian losing her telekinetic grip would jump back, igniting a cyan-colored lightsaber as she would aim to engage her newly found enemies. As they would clash, the Jedi Knight would recognize the Quermian, as a report he had read detailed that she had left for a mission about two years prior with her Padawan and that both had gone missing.
The duel was intense as the Darkside would fill the power of the fallen Jedi, forcing both Master and Padawan to work in tandem to defeat her. At the end, combining their prowess with the lightsaber and a telekinetic blast that knocked the Dark Jedi, both Jedi would stand victorious against their foe. However, such occurrence had left Fal with some unease, as he began to ponder what could have broken a Jedi of such standing, to make her a murderer. The Zabrak Jedi and his apprentice would interrogate the broken Quermian, to gain an understanding of what had happened to her apprentice and also what had happened with her Padawan, however the two would receive only incoherent gibberish that only offered even more questions. They returned to Coruscant to give custody of the Dark Jedi to the Council and the Republic.
However the result of the mission did brought good news. After the debriefing of the mission, Fal Tolvus took time to recommend his Padawan for the Trials, as he believed that the male Twi'lek was more than ready to become a Jedi Knight, as he believed that there was little else that he could teach him. While they waited for the Council decision on that matter, Fal took a moment to speak to his apprentice, reassuring the Lethan Twi'lek that it was in his opinion that he was ready and that no matter what he was proud of him.
At the end, the Jedi Council had agreed with Fal, allowing his student to take the Jedi Trails and thus prove whether he was worthy of becoming a Jedi Knight. Although it took time for the young Twi'lek, in the end, he proved himself by completing the Trials satisfactory and thus being elevated into the rank of Jedi Knight. As it was customary upon finishing the training of his first pupil, Fal became a Jedi Master at the age of thirty-seven. Not soon after, would Rocco Toma take an apprentice of his own, a young Zeltron. Although saddened that the two would part as Master and Apprentice, the two Jedi would continue to interact from time to time when they coincided in the Jedi Temple after their returned to their missions.
Wandering Master and the War
Roleplay Sample:
The boom of the artillery strike ringed in his ears. A flurry of mingles blaster bolts and snow flakes met him as advanced forth, his booths crunching over the gelid soil. The muffled sounds of war came back to him with full strength as the ring diminished. His emerald blade came to life with a snap-hiss, cutting through the vapor of his own exhalation as it met the deadly buzzard of crimson bolts that boiled the air on their wake to find him or the troops that were under his command.
Blaster fire came from behind, returning fire to that which came from the Empire positions, from the ruins and debris of edifices and vehicles. The motions of Soresu took prominence in his bladework as he advanced, the Force coursing through him, dispelling even the bitter winter of the winter that scourged the northern hemisphere of the world. Mental alacrity taking prominence as precise blasts would come for him, only to be redirected with a subtle shift of the hand that held the weapon, aimed at the caster with an accuracy only reachable by those attuned to the Force.
A salvo of missiles flew from the Sith positions. The Zabrak would raise his hand, reaching to the Force and altering their trajectories with a telekinetic flick. The explosion of the salvos, blooming in flames, smoke and shrapnel that would leave small craters before the platoon and the Jedi Master. It was then that he turned back to the men and women from different species that fought valiantly with him.
"For the Republic!" He heard himself yell amidst the blizzard.
They roared at his words and charged for, blaster fire increasing. Fal would dash forward, bearing his blade before allowing the Force to energize and propel his body in a leap that had him flying through the frigid air. His body twirling to avoid the crimson bolts from the imperial troops that trained their rifles upon him. He landed, creating a shock wave through the Force that sent many of the soldiers of the Sith flying against the reinforced walls of the trenches. Stunned they would only stare at them only to resume their attack.
Armored troopers and war-droids flaring their weapons against the single target in the midst of their position. The sound of thermal detonators would rock the very air as the Republic troops pushed in, their valor enhanced by the display of their leader. The emerald blade would trace arcs in the air, slicing the war-droids and weapons of those that served the ancient enemies of the Jedi. A powerful telekinetic blast from his part would send the still fighting against a ruined permacrete wall, reducing it to rubble.
The troops cheered in victory, raising their fists and blasters to the heavens in celebration. Yet for the Jedi Master this only meant a respite. As he knew that for this world and the Galaxy to be free from the cruel reality of war, there was still a long path to traverse.

As a boy he was brash, impatient but above all a dreamer, hoping of adventures in the far fringes of the galaxy to help those in need. However as an adult he developed to become a strict yet with a solid sense of honor and duty to the galaxy.
Many of his new acquaintances are set off due his need for discipline and order, however those that got to know him well grow to respect him and a have a generally close relationship with them to which his old apprentice would consider to that such connection was akin to that between a parent and a child.

Biography:
Beginnings
Once A Knight
As before, Fal would not take an apprentice. Preferring to give himself time between one and another and also to hone his skills further and to take more missions that would take him away from the Core Worlds, intending in doing all he could do to help those that were in need. His missions would take him months away from the Jedi Temple, although he always strove to maintain contact with the Jedi Order and the Republic and upon return he would only give himself one or two weeks of rest before leaving again.
This pattern was the same for years. Which he believed it suited him fine as he had grown more comfortable outside the galactic center. However there were whispers around the galaxy. Whispers that troubled him as he could sense that the current incarnation of the Sith Empire was preparing for something. Although such worries came to a halt when he heard a terrible news from the core. It had being years since he had heard of his old apprentice and now, it would seem that he would not hear more from him as he learned that he had died.
Returning to Coruscant he would find that instead of a body to mourn, there would only be the lightsaber of his former pupil. Beneath the stoic facade, the Zabrak would mourn the passing of his student with a heavy heart. Perhaps the closest he would ever have to a son. It was then that he noted a young Zeltron standing in vigil next to him, which he recognized as the Padawan of his deceased apprentice, sensing through the Force the sadness that he felt, the Jedi Master could empathize but chose not to say anything as he believed that the young man would have to face this on his own terms.
As he retreated after the solemn vigil of Rocco Toma, he would consider what to do. A part of him felt shattered as he had lost again someone close to him. Retreating to meditation and opening himself to the Force, he allowed the calming and soothing current of the lightside to guide him for what should be his next action. After some consideration he believed that in honor of his dead apprentice, he had to complete the training of Rocco Toma's pupil. And thus he offered himself to take Dorian Kane as his apprentice until he was ready for the Jedi Trials, which the Padawan accepted. Upon meeting the young man, he informed Dorian what he expected from him, the time completion of his training would take and also the shift of the same.
However in time it their relationship would prove to be similar to one he had enjoyed with Rocco Toma, he became fond of Dorian, seeing many of the attributes his former apprentice had with the young Zeltron. The two often reminiscing about the man that had being an apprentice and a master respectively. Under his careful guidance, Dorian's training progressed as he achieved new heights in his skills with the lightsaber.
Like before, Fal would leave the temple in missions, this time with Dorian. And often battle would find them, making the tutelage of the Zeltron equal times experience and practice. By the time the young man had reached twenty-two, the Zabrak felt that within one or two years, Dorian could become a Jedi Knight. However the Force would have different plans for both. As soon war would return to the galaxy once more.
The Sith Order had returned to the galaxy and Fal didn't hesitate to join the Jedi Blades in order to counter their ancient enemy. Without asking Dorian joined him as to the front lines of the conflict, leading republic troops against the Sith Empire and its minions of the darkside. His skills with Shien and Soresu paving the way for the soldiers that he commanded and that fought side by side with him and his second apprentice.
His words ensuring that the Republic soldiers under his command fought without fear for the Republic and the galaxy. And even while he knew that the war wasn't going on their way he still held the believe that every inch, every life and loss would count in the end. However loss was something that he felt. As his master like him had joined the Jedi Blades and would die during a battle early in the war. Despite the pain he endured and continued to fight at the best of his abilities.
It was during one of this conflicts in which he and Dorian caught wind that the Dark Jedi, now a Sith, who had slain his former apprentice was just two star systems away. As he moved to organize a task force to detain her, he had some doubts of whether he was to take Dorian with him, fearing that the boy could succumb to a wish to get some payback from the death of Rocco Toma. As the transport with the group of Jedi left, he saw that Dorian had entered meditation, however after preparing himself for battle he found Dorian covered in sweat and mumbling about his inability to face the woman that had killed his old master. Sensing the truth of him he agreed and he along with the other Jedi made to planet side and engaged the Sith.
The skirmish was a short one. As while the Sith were powerful, the Jedi that he had handpicked for the operation were more than a match, he himself dueling against Lady Zyriks, the Miralukan that had slain his former Padawan, disarming and capturing the Sith with no complications. Now in his custody, the Jedi made for Zeltron, the only world close by in which they could resupply and have a considerable security force watching over the captive Sith. Tolvus, confident that the Jedi and security forces could contain her, left to arrange her transfer to a safer location.
It was during this time in which Dorian would confront Zyriks, almost killing her before regaining his senses and staying true to the Force. Blooded and Bludgeoned, he took the sedated Zyriks to the Republic, where she would be held as a prisoner of the War. It was during this time in which Gargon fell to the Mandalorians, Taris entered contest, and the Jedi Order finally committed to supporting Blades in the war. Feeling that perhaps it was time, Fal would speak to the Jedi Council, recommending Dorian for ascension to Knighthood given what he had experienced, which was conceded.
Parting ways with his second student. Fal would again dedicate himself wholly to the war against the Sith Order and it's Empire. Doing so from the front lines, hoping that one day peace, prosperity and freedom may return to the galaxy once more.
