Biography:
Ben was born on the planet Agamar to two farmers who had recently got married the year before and were trying to start a family of their own. Like every child born in the Republic, Ben's blood was tested revealing that he had an unusually high midi-chlorian count. Upon this discovery, a Jedi was sent to their home and explained to the new parents that Ben was force sensitive and that they wanted to take him in for Jedi training. The Jedi also explained to the two that the boy could become susceptible to the dark side and become a danger to himself and others once his force powers begin to manifest. With this information in mind, they gave the child up to the Jedi where he was taken to the Jedi Temple on Dantooine where he was raised in a nursery for the first few years of his life.
