I have been gaming for over 30 years. I know some planets my GMs created using older books, not SW... 'Spring World' from 'There is No Darkness' due to it's extreme polar spin it has the fastest winds clocked, as in over sonic speed, constantly.
"Construct' also from the same book. A space station that most people don't go down more then 3 or 4 levels. One level is taken up by a force being who is the last of his species, not many want to stay there because they feel what he feels as in they want to commit suicide...
'San Martin' from David Weber's 'Honorverse' series, heaviest gravity world, mankind currently uses. So dense in fact at sea level the atmosphere is toxic to humans, within 30 seconds you are dead.
One of my previous GMs had a list of planets, every planet you would all have, if you came from it a +2 in some skill or whatever. Tatooine (+2 Desert Survival) and Naboo (+2 swimming)
Coruscant (+2 bureaucracy or +2 langauges) examples... if Force Sensitive (Myyrk - +2 perception since everyone else on the planet wants to eat you) Duros (+2 engineering or +2 Astrogation)
