((Her meeting is with someone other than Bit -- an npc...just to prevent confusion xD ))
So long...It's been so long since I've been back here. The musing of the woman had her shaking her head softly from the cockpit of the ship she was temporarily using. It was one of Familiar's ships, since her new one was taking quite a while to rebuild and refurbish and she still had a things to do around the galaxy. Still, as the landing struts took on the heavy burden of the ship as it touched down on one of the many landing docks around Corellia, the woman couldn't help but think just how honestly strange it was to be home.
Heh, home...I wonder if it'll ever truly be home again?
Samantha wasn't one to normally be so pessimistic, but everyone had their moments and, honestly, Sam had plenty of reasons for having this singular thought run through her mind. After all, she was still considered a traitor to the Republic, and that tended to keep one a careful distance from the core worlds if one had any smarts...or at least if you weren't half decent at keeping your head down. Still, she had business here with someone from her past...someone who could maybe help a little. But how much do I really want this? she wondered, thinking about all of the things that could go wrong with the plan percolating in her brain. Sev'll kill me if he finds out I'm back here again looking at trouble...
Ever since her staged 'death', Sev had made it quite clear that she wasn't to give him any more near heart attacks. Well, at least none that he didn't know about first. She loved the man and not telling him had been one of the hardest things she'd ever done...not to mention the nearly full month she'd let him and her former squad continue thinking she was actually killed by a bounty hunter. Still, it had needed to be done, both for her own freedom of movement and to further her ability to try and help both herself (and Aunna) get out of this damn mess they were in that had called for it in the first place.
As the ship powered down, the blond haired, grey eyed, woman stood from the pilots seat and pulled on the leather bomber jacket that hung over the back. It had seen better years, but it had obviously been taken good care of and seemed to be fit for a man more than the lean-framed woman who wore it now. Of course, Sam liked that it was large on her...it hid much of her body language, along with a surprise or two. Checking her person for the heavy blaster strapped to her thigh, her comm-link, her utility belt's various amenities, her boot knife, her combat knife...yep. All set.
She hoped.
The streets and sky-lanes of Coronet were almost exactly how she remembered them, and as her feet brought her along the walkways a feeling of nostalgia trickled through her that was undeniable. Grey eyes roved along the faces of people passing and the fronts of buildings, taking in her long missed homeworld. Goddess it was good to be back, but it pained her heart not to be here with the others, especially Sev. Sighing a little, the woman reminded herself just why she was there and moved along from where she'd briefly paused to get a good view of the surrounding area.
Hopefully this would be a meeting worth the potential risk...
