The transport finally came to a stop at the spaceport, Mandalorians could be seen departing and arriving from various places. Very few were unmarked, and even less were not in armor. As for D'Vhex, he was already dreading what was to come. Conscious of the preteen fidgeting around his legs. Already slightly regretting the decision to take on a "son". However, he is not adverse to the idea as D'Vhex took pity on the boy and his horrible living conditions.
Just before the transport doors opened, he made sure the child was close by. No sense in having some veteran warrior knock him off balance for getting in the way. Vex had two objectives, one, get home without losing or getting the child killed. Two, sleep. The doors finally opened and Vex pulled the child out of the transport before he was crushed in the rush of people exiting the transport. D'Vhex relaxed as the flow of people started to slow and mellow out, patting his blasters to make sure they were still there. Already aware of the slugthrower strapped onto his back.
Finally turning to the child and muttering "hurry", he sped his pace in order to catch a cab in a relatively reasonable time frame. Vex then scanned the streets for cabs. In doing so his attention momentarily wavered away from the child.

As D'Rak looked around in his goggles while his eyes adjusted to the bright colors of the sky, he glanced around to the giant building towering over him. He was only use to small houses or shacks, with little room to really call safe. While he and D'Vhex were leaving the transport D'Rak saw something small shiny gold sticking out of a man's pocket. He reached forward with his human arm, and picked three pieces of the gold. As he looked at them the doors opened and people shoved forward. D'Rak would've fallen if Vex hadn't grab ahold of him.
As they walked into the street, D'Rak barely could focus on one thing, he was looking at signs, buildings, vehicles. Everything on this planet was foreign to him. When he looked up, he noticed that Vex was looking the other direction, D'Rak figured that if he ran away, he'd be caught easily, what would he do if he did manage to get away? There were too many possibilities that could happen to him, and yet D'Vhex had saved him from his home that would have killed him if he stayed any longer. So D'Rak knocked on Vex's armor," Excuse me, uh, Mr. D'Vhex sir... Um, where exactly are we, and where are we going?"

D'Vhex jumped at the rapping noise before registering the child had asked a question. He then looked down at the child before responding, "We are on the planet Mandalore. As for where we are going we are headed to my house in the country side. Oh, and try not to steal anything else while we're traveling. The Galaxy has a way of getting you back when you least expect it. D'Vhex then managed to hail a cab and motioned for the child to get in.
Vex, already speaking in Mando'a with the cab driver, was haggling over the price of their trip to his home. Once the price was settled, D'Vhex sat in the front passengers seat of the cab and removed his helmet. Finally relaxing as the lightweight metal piece was removed. "Objective one complete, objective two, begin." After muttering this, D'Vhex promptly closed his eyes and attempted to drift off to sleep.

D'Rak watched the city as the cruised by. One tall building after the other, but as they continued to drive the buildings grew smaller, and the gaps between them became wider. When they left the city completely D'arak some something completely different from his norm. He looked over and started to tap his master," Hey, hey Master. Master I have a question, what are those wooden poles? Why are there so many? There wouldn't be so many is they weren't important, right?" He waited about two minutes for D'Vhex to answer, then continued to poke and prod at his master, until he woke up.

D'Vhex awakened by the rapid fire questions slowly turned around and looked at the offending child. He then stared directly into his eyes before replying in a deadpan voice,"Look, we've been traveling for a while. I will explain everything once we get to my home, and I get a chance to sleep for more than five minutes." Vex then promptly turned around and shut his eyes attempting to fall back to sleep. He then turned to the side as one of his many hidden vibrodaggers was prodding him. After signing, D'Vhex drifted off into a light doze, hoping the child wouldn't interfere this time..

D'Rak took the hint and sat down with his hands in his lap, sitting quietly. "He must be tired if he's this irritated, maybe if he rests for a bit he'll be nicer," he thought to himself. As the ride continued D'Rak started to nod off, with each passing second his head dipped a little more, till his head banged on D'Vhex's armor, forcing him to stay awake. After a few minutes of focusing on the the outside world, he started to doze off, and payed his head on Vex's arm again and passed out.

Waking up as the cab came to a stop, D'Vhex shifted and then realized there was a weight on his arm. Sighing and shaking his arm slightly to rouse his now sleeping companion, he exited the cab and walked around the back to remove the various boxes containing anything from clothes, ammunition or the various souvenirs Vex had collected from far away worlds. After unloading the cab Vex went around to the front drivers side and began to haggle in rapid Mando'a about the final price of the ride. Becoming increasingly annoyed With the drivers unwillingness to bring down his price, D'Vhex lowered the pitch of his voice in an attempt to seem more threatening. The conversation continued and some more "colorful" Mandalorian words were exchanged.

As D'Rak was carrying the boxes, he realized he had no idea where he was going, so he started to walk over to Master D'Vhex to ask him more questions when he heard the tone in his master's voice, he stopped mid step to become aware that the man he was talking to had just as a terrifying tone as Vex, and slowly took a step back. He didn't understand any of what was said, but he was still scared by the feel of the conversation.
