Questions regarding the state of the Galax

Here are some of my newbie questions.

1) What's going on the war front between the Republic/Jedi against the Sith/Mandalorians so far? I noticed something about a rakeghoul outbreak on Taris with the Jedi and Sith having a truce concerning it. Is that truce still ongoing?

2) What's the current situation on the planet Onderon?

The republic and Manadalorians are facing off on Vanquo. While the Sith and Jedi are spread across the sector fighting for dominance of their respective targets. As far as I know the truce was only confined to Taris due to Rhakghouls. The war still rages elsewhere. As for Onderon I'm not sure. You'd need to ask someone more knowledgeable than I. Hopefully this clears some questions up. If this is extreamly late, I'm sorry q.q
