Biography:
Xiga was born to a poor family on Tatooine. Her father, a scavenger, had no money, and her mother died during childbirth. Her father was never the same since the death of his wife, and always partially blamed Xiga for it. However, he also saw so much of Xiga's mother's features in Xiga and couldn't bring himself to hate her. Regardless, Xiga's childhood was rough, she often went hungry because her father could not afford to feed the both of them. Her first few years of life were rough, a constant struggle to survive. They lived in a small, metal hutt with very little ventilation. It was always so hot, the heat was virtually inescapable on the rough desert planet of Tatooine. To top it off, she was out scavenging with her father early every morning from the age of 6, working hard to find what ever salvageable scraps she could. Her father always brought her around because she was capable of finding the best stuff. Since she was still so small, and full of energy she could crawl into those tight little spaces and grab valuable parts. Whether it be from crashed freighters, speeders, or any other vehicle they found in the wastes. The work however, was very strenuous and definitely not something a little girl should be doing. There were many times where her life was at risk because she got stuck inside of dangerous equipment. They were able to save up some money, but it was never enough. In fact one time her father had spent years saving up to buy a small ship so that they could leave the awful planet. However, when they finally purchased the ship from a shady seller, it ended up being a lemon. The ship was no good, set up to start and appear like all was well, until the buyer actually tried to fly off the planet. Her and her father got in the ship, started it, and flew off. However, once they started trying to leave the atmosphere the ship began to fail. It fell, and if it wasn't for a few timely reactions on her father's part, the two of them could have well been dead. Instead, however, Xiga lost a leg in the explosion, and her father lost his right hand.
When she turned 16, her father sold her to a Hutt because he could no longer afford to keep her. They were no longer able to scavenge the way they once could, and Xiga's father knew that she was better in the Hutt's hands than in his own. Xiga had finally left the planet, but her father was left behind to die. This was the start of the worst four years of her entire life. The Hutt, named Yuka, had given her a cybernetic leg, and for this she was grateful. However, he did about almost every terrible thing imaginable to the poor child. From torture to rape, Xiga was caught in a vicious cycle. She made several attempts on her own life, but was forced to a stop multiple times by the Hutt's guards. However, it was during this time that Xiga learned many valuable skills. While in his servitude, the Hutt had her learn to pilot his ship, so that he would not have to pay for a pilot. This was Xigas favorite part of her four years in the Hutts servitude. Learning to fly was a beautiful experience. When she flew through space, she no longer felt trapped. She no longer felt like a slave to the Hutt. She felt as free as the stars themselves. Xiga also learned to manage his computer system, and perform minor repairs around his home on Hutta and on his ship. These skills helped her tremendously in later life.
When Xiga became 20, the Hutt had gotten bored of her. She was too old for him now, and the disgusting old Hutt moved on to another young teenager. However, that did not mean Xiga was home free. She was now a full time pilot, computer manager, and repair woman for the ship. On top of that, she was now in training to become his personal bounty hunter. However, she was kept under close watch. A heavily armed guard watched her at all times, to be sure that she never strayed away from Yuka. It was hard to even think about leaving when you had no home to go to, and were constantly staring down the barrel of a loaded blaster. She slept in the barracks with the guards, and followed them for several years, training with them vigorously. It was here that she learned hand to hand combat, swordplay, and how to shoot a rifle. She became best with a gun, but that was not to say that she was not skilled with her hands, or with a sword. Years of training caused her skills to grow. She fought many battles for Yuka, hunting and killing smugglers and bounty hunters who betrayed him. She did this as part of a squad of course, the Hutt would never trust her on her own. Hutta was her home now. Even if she wanted to run, where could she possibly go? Her father on Tatooine probably wouldn't even recognize her if he was even alive. Besides, he was the one who sold her into this horrible existence.
One day on her 25th birthday, several of the Hutts engineers brought her into a laboratory. They sedated her, and then proceeded to operate. Without her permission, they removed one of her eyes and an arm. They then replaced her appendages with cybernetic ones, with various modifications. They also made a modification to her leg. When the Woman awoke, she was not the same. She was completely naked, and covered in her own blood. She felt so different, like she was no longer human. She was half a robot, her arm felt heavy, and her vision was different - more clear! When she looked to people, they were almost immediately identified by her eye. When she looked to the engineers surrounding her, her eye read their race and was even able to identify them by name. She had been turned into a human weapon. Against her own will.
Almost immediately after the operation, testing began. They brought Xiga into a practice room. She was still naked, dripping blood, and felt a great deal of pain in her new appendages. Yuka sat in the window of the training room, watching eagerly. There were several humanoid cardboard cut outs in the room, all of them with bulls eyes on the head. On a loud speaker, a scientist spoke to Xiga. Directing her on how to use the modifications on her robotics. He taught her how to lock on to targets with her eye, to use the flame thrower and chain built in to her arm, as well as the hidden vibroblade on her leg. As Xiga took out each and every target in the room, she began to lose her sense of humanity. She felt as robotic as her modifications. Listening to orders, and then immediately completing them with efficiency. The pain in her appendages began to disappear, she was getting used to her new body mods.
Xiga never forgave Yuka for what he had done to her. Not only did he steal her childhood, her innocence, and her freedom, but now he had stolen her limbs too. Her humanity was gone. The last of her years in his service were a blur. The same as always, hunting Yuka's enemies, and bringing him the proof. Constantly being watched by his guards so that she never strayed away. Over time, she became more and more depressed. No longer wanting to live at all, much less serve Yuka. She spent years planning an escape, but could never find an out. She had considered risking her life to kill him, but then she would never see the stars again-- and there was nothing she loved more than flying amongst the stars. All hope seemed lost for Xiga, until one day, when she was shocked to find Yuka dead in his bedroom. He died of natural causes, old age and all that. However, she felt robbed. Part of Xiga wanted to be the one to deliver the killing blow to that old bastard. He didn't deserve a peaceful death. No, he did not deserve to die in the serenity of his own bedroom. She decided on that day, she would leave. Yuka's son was sure to arrive soon, and take over his command. Yet Xiga knew she could leave while his empire was in shambles, and maybe, no one would notice. She left quickly, without speaking to anyone. Hopped, into one of Yuka's smaller, less noticeable, ships and flew off.
First she went to tatooine, and pawned off several of Yuka's belongings including the ship she used to get there. Then she bought an old beat up freighter, and flew far away. She was sure Yuka's son would be on her tail, but that didn't matter to her at all. As long as she could fly amongst the stars for the rest of her life.
For the past two years, she's been traveling the universe, collecting bounties, developing her armor, and building on her ship. She also bought a small utility droid named E.V.E.
Roleplay Sample: The halls of the Cantina were as loud and crowded as always. The entire building was dimly lit with blue and purple lights, exotic Twi'lek dancers stood ontop of tables, dancing for the bar's patrons. The sound of the band as well as the mumbles and gurgles of drunken aliens filled the room. The Cantina was always busy. Scum from across all the universe flocked her to see half naked woman, and enjoy a drink. However, Xiga was here for the latter. Without a face-mask her gender was revealed to all. Hundreds of eyes stared at her as she took a seat at the bar. She sat silently, ignoring all the passive-aggressive looks and sly comments that she received from fellow patrons. A bartender with blue skin, and shark-like teeth approached her. "What can I get for ya, lass?"
"A glass of your strongest please."
The whole bar laughed. The words came almost unexpected. It was as if the group of scum had never seen a woman drink before. "Are you sure a cute little girl like you can handle that?" The bar tender asked, trickling a cold, sharp finger across her face. Xiga immediately smacked the hand off her.
"I said a glass of your finest." The Huntress spoke, her eyes now squinting with anger. "Please." Cold, almost lifeless eyes stared to the blue bartender. Her face remained expressionless. As if she could not feel the slightest amount of emotion. The bartender stared back, grinning evilly, to show off his dreadful teeth. They sat there, staring at each other in silence for what felt like hours, until eventually the bartender gave up, and poured her her drink. Then he slid it to her from across the table.
"Drink up pretty lady, I'll be seeing you in bed tonight." The whole bar once again laughed. Xiga ignored him and put the glass to her lips. Then it hit her, the sweet euphoria of the first drink in a long day began to settle in. She turned the cup top side up, finishing the drink in seconds. Once the drink was in her stomach, she began to feel much happier.
On the other side of the bar, sat a crab-like alien holding a cage. Inside of the cage was a little, 10 year old girl, who was quietly whimpering. Her whimpers, though near silent, were heard above all sounds to Xiga. It was as if they were finely tuned to the sound of sad children. She looked over to see the bearer of the cage, who was obviously drunk. He slammed the cage into the bar in order to try and silence the child, but to no avail. He then dropped the cage on the ground roughly, and then the girl sat quiet. Without the crab-man noticing, she began to try to slide through the bars of the cage, with were much wider than her girth.
Xiga tapped the bar, a universal signal for another drink, and the bartender poured. At this point, the child was halfway out of the cage, and began crawling on the floor. The crab-man noticed, and immediately began screaming at the child in some foreign language. The small human crawled under the chairs at the bar, until she eventually grazed Xiga's leg. The Bounty Huntress looked down to the child, and couldn't help a smirk. She then reached down, and lifted the girl to her feet by her collar. "Where are you going, little one?" she asked. But the response she received was unexpected.
"We don't take kindly to thieves here lass." The shark-like bartender said, looking over the counter to her. The Crab-man fumbled to his feet, and began walking toward Xiga and the child, shouting obscenities. Part of her didn't want to get involved in this whole ordeal, but for some reason Xiga saw a little bit of herself in this girl. She couldn't but recall being taken from her family, and sold to that nasty Hutt. She really didn't want to see the same happen to this child. "Now give the nice man back his meat." The whole bar was staring at her, awaiting her next action. Xiga just stared back at them angrily. Her face winced in frustration. Now she was mad. Not because the creature wanted to enslave this young child, but because this damn ugly bartender was mouthing off at her again. She had fought back the urge to say something before, but now she was getting fed up. Keeping her face focused on the bartender, Xiga used her free hand to grab her drink and press it against her lips. The girl leaned her head back and chugged the entire beer down in a matter of seconds, finishing it off with a refreshing belch.
"Shut the frak up shit stain." She said plainly, before slamming the mug onto the bar. "You ugly shark-toothed mother fraker. I'll shove my gun so far up your ass you'll be crying all the way back to Tatooine. Little fraking kitty." She pushed the mug off the counter and watched it shatter into a thousand crystals on the ground. "Give me a bottle of your finest and a sincere apology and maybe, I'll let you walk out of here with your life."
The Bartender just stared at Xiga menacingly. His eyes glared at her with sheer rage, and his mouth was open just wide enough to see the tips of his razor sharp teeth. Drool dripped off the edge of his purple lip, and he looked ready to throw down. However, he did not move. He just stood there threateningly. Xiga was pretty confused, as she had been expecting an immediate reaction. Was he trying to scare her? Because it wasn't working.
Xiga placed a palm to the neck of the patron beside her and slammed his head down onto the counter. She then grabbed his glass mug, and smashed it on top of his head. Finally, she lifted him by the collar of his shirt, and shoved him into the Young Girls' captor. The two grunted and snarled, before falling from their stools and onto the floor. A chuckle left the Huntress' lips as she watched them wrestle to stand up. The Bartender just watched her the whole time. He looked much less angry now, and much more frightened. Xiga looked at him, smirked, then reached over the counter and grabbed a fancy-looking bottle of liquor. "I forgive you." She said, before she ran off into the crowds of people heading for her ship, while all the patrons she disturbed scrambled to their feet.
