Personality:
Genji is a calm guy who usually spends his time training as he thinks he can always get stronger. Genji also believes nothing is impossible and if he fails at first he will continue working until he reaches his goals. Due to this mindset Genji is known for being extremely determined and if your name is put on his list there is not much you can do. Genji loves to read and draw imagining the dragonic creatures he was told about as a child and hoping that one day he may find one on his own. Genji doesn't condone killing but knows that it must be done and if he doesn't someone else will and will make it more gruesome and painful.

Biography:
Genji was born and raised on Tattoine where he was the youngest son of the Shimada Ninja clan. There he was trained in the way of a ninja. Genji lived a life of luxury and privilege, taking no mind to the illegal activities of his clan. He instead spent his time training as a ninja with his older brother Hanzo. Hanzo took more of an active role in their families trade and resented Genji for not following tradition and helping in the illegal market. 

Once they reached the age of 26 their Father passed away leaving Hanzo in charge of the clan, as well as the illegal market. Once he was in power he demanded Genji take more action in their clan and help them. Genji refused, this enraged Hanzo which ended up with them fighting. Hanzo nearly killed Genji and left him in tatters, a bleeding corpse in the sand. 

But a group of marauders came by and found Genji's corpse as well as the Shimada clan tattoo on his neck. They took him to a scientist who fixed Genji up and turned him into a cyborg massively increasing his strength and speed with the new arms and legs. With Hanzo thinking Genji was dead Genji was free to do whatever he chose to in life. But eventually he decided he should return to his clan so he could stop the illegal trade. 

Genji started to help many people stop the Shimada clan's movements. But Genji soon felt at war with himself, disgusted by the mechanical parts of himself and could not come to grips with being a cyborg. Once he had taken down the Shimada Clan empire he found his brother and fought with him one last time. This time Genji killed Hanzo and made sure he was dead. Upset he had to kill his brother Genji began to roam the galaxy using his new power to become a mercenary. Due to this he eventually came to grips with being a cyborg and embraced his new abilities. Now, for the first time in his life, Genji was free. Even he could not say where his path would ultimately lead.

Roleplay Sample: The 1st battle between Genji and Hanzo.

Genji arrives at his brothers new palace hidden in the dunes of Tatooine. He looks around at the palace with it's stone dragons at the front and temple aspect. He starts to walk inside wondering what it is his brother wanted to talk to him about. When he gets into the main room he sees his brother holding his bow in his hands while sitting on the throne. "Hello Hanzo! How are you doing? Are you fitting well into our father's throne?" He asks walking up to his brother.

"Sit down." Hanzo demands not looking directly into Genji's eyes. "Our Elders have brought it to my attention that you have been lazy in helping our family business. This is unacceptable! From now on you have to be more active start helping our people do their jobs!" Hanzo says with a furious tone directed at Genji.

Genji looks at his brother and stands up. "If this is all you wanted to speak to me about than it was a waste of my time coming here. Like I told our father I will not be involved with this business. The only reason I haven't stepped in to try and shut it down is because it is run by you my brother. Now that you know my true feelings what is it you will do?" Genji asks putting his hand on the vibroblade on the back of his waist.

Hanzo looks at Genji with a look of extreme anger. "AS THE HEAD OF THIS FAMILY YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME!" Hanzo yells at Genji. "ANYTHING ELSE IS UNACCEPTABLE AND THE PENALTY FOR DEFYING ME IS DEATH!" Hanzo shouts pulling out an arrow and firing it at Genji.

Genji pulls out his sword and blocks the arrow before grabbing three shurikens and throwing them at Hanzo. While the shurikens have Hanzo's attention Genji runs at him with his sword out preparing to attack him. 

Hanzo dodges the shurikens and blocks Genji's sword with his bow and pushes Genji off of him. Then while Genji is down on the ground Hanzo jumps at him striking him with his bow.

Genji attempts to dodge Hanzo but instead watches as his arm gets cut off by the blade on Hanzo's bow. Genji then grabs his shorter sword and runs out of the palace. Once he gets out he sheathes his blade and starts to throw shurikens at his brother.

Hanzo shoots and arrow at Genji while he is running but misses. Once they get out into the dunes Hanzo starts to block and dodge Genji's shurikens. Once he sees he has a clear shot Hanzo fires a explosive arrow at Genji.

Genji gets hit by the arrow and watches as both of his legs are blown off. He then starts to use his only remaining limb to crawl away.

Hanzo then runs at Genji and cuts off his remaining arm before firing three arrows into Genji's back. "I'm sorry brother. I wish it didn't have to come to this." He says before walking back into his palace.

While Genji is bleeding out some marauders find him and pick him up taking him to a scientist who turns Genji into a cyborg.

*cough* Man, I’ve got to stop watching One Piece subbed. Anyway, salutations, and welcome to the board. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Name through Personality all look good with the exception that you forgot to give Genji here a weight.

For Ships/Vehicles, while you’re free to name stuff, our tech policy on SWU is as follows; if it’s atypical in any way, it needs an app. Assuming Genji’s got this speeder doing something it doesn’t typically do (most speeders don’t have anything more than an engine and maybe a basic nav computer, for instance), it needs an app. If it’s just a speeder he’s souped up to go a little faster, however, then it’s fine without an app.

For Equipment, everything slides except for the cyborg parts. Again, referring to our tech policy, if it’s atypical, we need it defined. Ergo, if these limbs are just normal cybernetic parts that function within the same ranges as normal human body parts, then you’re fine. But seeing as how you’ve listed them as effectively giving Genji some superpowers, we’re gonna’ need to app them. For the sake of simplicity, we can just put the limbs and the armor in the same app, deal? It should go in the “Armor” section.

Your Stats also need a hit or two. As a rule of thumb, we don’t allow Superior strength for humans, but seeing as how we’ve got cybernetics in the mix, we can come back to that in a bit. The thing that needs to happen regardless is that something’s got to get dropped down. There’s no such thing as a perfect man, and characters good at one thing generally aren’t so great at another. For instance, the world’s strongest man doesn’t have the time to cure cancer, and the world’s smartest man doesn’t have the time to get ripped enough to tow a truck with his bare hands. Know what I mean?

Long story short, let’s nix one of those Superiors, or otherwise bump down the other two stats.

For Combat Training and Other Training, you’re golden. Just make sure these skills are in your bio and given the appropriate level of explanation.

Speaking of which, time for ze Bio!

• So I know we’re basically just porting the Overwatch character here, but… it’d make me downright uncomfortable to greenlight this without at least a little alteration. We’re far from a big deal around here, but at the end of the day, the writers at Blizzard put a lot of their blood, sweat, and tears into this guy, and I think they deserve a little credit for that. Ergo, I’m gonna’ ask you to at least swap the names in the bio around such that they’re your own adaption, rather a direct rip.
• The other big thing of note here is that this bio is outstandingly short for a 35 year-old man. The first paragraph covers his life from age 0 to 26. I won’t ask you for an entire novel, surely, but again, your bio has to justify your character and who he is. Why did he want to be a ninja? What was a ninja family doing on Tatooine, of all places? Why and how were they involved in a black market? Why did Genji care? When did he find out? What was it like growing up in what I’m assuming was basically the Yakuza? I don’t need a play-by-play of what he had for breakfast every morning, but I would at least like some major holes filled in. Tell us how his personality is as it is, and how he gained the skills and opinions he has.
• Again, that fight they have when Hanzo takes over would make a lot more sense if we knew why the brothers had differing opinions. But I digress.
• Who was this scientist who was such an expert with cybernetics? Why did the mercenaries bring Genji to him? What price did he pay for a new body, effectively speaking? Etc.
• Why did Genji become a mercenary when he had such a distaste for crime? How did he dismantle his entire clan and their criminal empire? What challenges did he have to overcome? Etc.

As a last note, the Roleplay Sample is superb, but generally we use the past tense here on SWU.
