(Or, the Wookie equivalents) and the fur at the bottom of his head has grown into a long, mangled beard.
He is a little taller than the average Wookie, and often appears very fierce and ferocious, his thick fangs showing. He keeps his claws visible at all times, and they are a nice, polished black. Biography:
Ages 1-20:
Tru'Tanka was born to two wookies on Kashyyk, Mu'Tanka and Lu'Tanka. Mu'Tanka was a powerful male wookie, known for his height. It was no surprise when Tru was noticed to being taller than most wookies, even as an infant and toddler. During his first years of life, he was very young and innocent, looked after by his loving and kind mother, and trained by his father. Mu'Tanka was a Wookie Defender, so he knew Wrruushi very well. He happened to also have a blaster, which he never used, keeping it more as a trophy. So, Tru'Tanka was taught combat even at an early age, and this eventually caught up with his interactions with others.
When playing with other Wookie toddlers in his village, he would always win at fights, since he knew Wrruushi and combat far better. As such, the toddlers eventually began shunning him, and out-casting him. However, some of them found ways to out-speed him, and would constantly taunt him to try and catch them. His considerable height and weight over them would make him unable to access some areas they could, and he would have a clunky pursuit. However, this stopped once he caught one of the taunters, and made quite a show of the young Wookie. After nearly drowning the Wookie in a nearby body of water, he beat him to a pulp, and then tied the Wookie to a pole, gagged him, and stuck him deep in the forest.
Although the rest of the village wished for his parents to punish him for such a cruel activity, his father rewarded him double for every reprimand of his mother. So, he eventually became the village bully, and the things circulating into his father's ear convinced Mu'Tanka to teach young Tru'Tanka even more Wrruushi. So, Tru would dominate the others in his village, causing jealousy to spread among them.
Ages 20-40:
As it happened, Tru'Tanka got what he deserved. One day, the children caught him by surprise, and nearly drowned him, beat him to a pulp, and tied him to a tree in the middle of the woods. They forgot to gag him, so he moaned and sobbed as much as possible. His father heard, and came, and Tru thought he was there to help. Instead, however, his father reprimanded him for being caught by surprise, gagged him, and beat him to a pulp again. Mu then told Tru that he would pretend that Tru had been retrieved, so Tru was to stay in that position for a full week. Mu would come by once a day to beat him up, and add one new torture each day.
As Tru shuttered through the night in fear, he saw red. Then, he heard roars , Wookies pleading for help. As ash soaked into his fur, and stung at his eyes, all he could do was watch, as the fire spread, engulfing the world around him. All he knew was that there was fire, and he couldn't even do anything to escape it. As he struggled, and struggled, and struggled, he eventually gave up, ready for the fire to take him.
Just then, Trandoshians came by. When they saw him, they laughed, and began lighting another match. Tru could tell they were the ones who burned down his village. He glared at them, furious. They, however, laughed it off, and lit his shoulder ablaze. He began panicking, as the fur around his stomach and the top of his limbs began blackening from the flames. Eventually, however, he realized himself fall from the pole. The fire had burned through the rope, and he may be able to survive if he could reach the water nearby. However, the Trandoshians soon caught on, and began chasing him. However, he swam away.
For the next 20 years, he mourned and grieved. He was desolate, the only thing left for him was his father's old blaster. He foraged the world around him, mastering self-reliance in a survival situation. He eventually constructed a ramshackle hut, and began trying to rebuild his life. However, he knew he would never be safe, or the same. Those Trandoshians could always come back. If they did, he would be prepared.
Ages 40-150:
Soon, he became bored of the lack of activity, and began trying to find another village. He eventually stumbled upon one, which was already very old. Due to a lack of males, he knew he would have a great chance at a mate. When other males attempted to confront him, he would either fight them off in hand-to-hand combat, or kill them with a blaster. One male, however, went behind his back, and impregnated Tru's chosen mate while Tru was busy getting food for the village. So, furious, Tru decided to give this male all the fury he had. Grabbing the protesting Wookie by the neck, Tru dragged him to the nearby ocean, and began forcing his head in. As the Wookie struggled for air, Tru let him up, and then forced him down again. After an hour or so of this procedure, the Wookie was almost dead from fatigue and fear, and deprivation of oxygen. But Tru was not done.
Tru then tied the Wookie to a pole, and a pose similar to Crucifixion. Then, Tru used him as a training bag, and did so for the next ten years. Yes, ten years. Those who tried to stop him were forced out, and the Wookie eventually began dying. But was Tru done? No. As the man's child was now a toddler, Tru brought the toddler before the man. And, in one final emotional blow, the child gave Tru a hugging, calling him father. With the real father dying, Tru snickered, and decided to give the kid a lesson. No amount of sobbing from the captive ended the blaster lessons, which Tru taught his little bundle of joy, Gew'Tanka, and continued to teach for another ten years. With Gew growing up as Tru did, it seemed the process might repeat.
Especially when more Trandoshians arrived. This time, however, Tru and Gew were at the village, and prepared to defend. However, the Trandoshians wanted to make an offer: no bloodshed, all they needed to do was hand over one Wookie. So, the captive Male was sent over to the Trandoshians, who displayed all the tools they would be using in their experiments. Then, they tossed a match into the village. The Trandoshians had broken their code.
Snarling, Tru leapt at them, killing two of them by grabbing vibroblades they had and using them. Those left alive began firing at Tru, only for him to fire back, and for Gew to help. The father-son duo pushed the Trandoshians back, and they retreated to their ship. As Tru glanced in horror at the second burning village he had been to, a huge bolt flew out of midair, hitting Gew and Tru. Now the Trandoshians were firing from their ship.
As Tru woke up, he realized he was somewhere different. Not on Kashyyk. He was on Coruscant, getting healing in the Jedi Temple. He saw Gew was also alive, although barely. As he began asking questions, his healers told him what happened. The Jedi had arrived after noticing odd happenings, and so were able to pick up most of the Wookies. Many of them were already back on their home planet, recuperating and rebuilding. Gew, apparently, was force sensitive, unlike his father. Tru, after hearing what the Jedi intended for his son, agreed to the idea. So, he left his past, Wookie life behind, although secretly vowing to remain loyal to Kashyyk and his son.
Over the next few decades, he found himself a job through bounty hunting. He eventually became a pretty well known Trandoshian-killer specifically, which netted him the credits needed for survival on 1313. So, he became an expert in the craft, and honed it to a point. Now, he is a sharp, strong bounty hunter, and is ready to defeat those which almost crushed him.

Tru'Tanka took a look at the ship at the hangar. In a few seconds, the Trandoshian would be here. Some political someone, by the rumors he heard. He took the job, and had spent the last few weeks researching his target. He knew this would net him enough credits to last for a while, and maybe enough to make a little gift to the Jedi Order. He loved occasionally donating a few credits or clothes he obtained, or maybe the occasional weapon or two. It was a way of saying thanks, and, sometimes, they gave him an update on his son. Gew'Tanka was now a padawan, and training to be a Jedi Guardian. Tru'Tanka was proud of his son.
But, Tru had a mission: kill this Trandoshian. So, he leapt off his little platform, and rushed to the ship, barely managing to get inside before the doors to the hangar opened, revealing the Trandoshian and his entourage. Tru knew he would need to know more of the ship, and used the time it took this small procession to get to the ship to scour for a way out and a place to hide. So, when the Trandoshian came to the ship, Tru had a plan.
As the Trandoshian waved goodbye to those with him, Tru flexed out his claws, and withdrew his Vibroblades. Clean and silent. It wasn't cheating if he gave the target a fighting chance. So, as soon as the door to the ship closed, and the ramp was tucked away, the Trandoshian lost his political demeanor and began snarling, feeling as if someone was watching him. Tru had seen too many of this type of Trandoshian, and knew what to do in such a situation. Just feed that urge, or end the life.
Eventually, Tru made his move, pouncing on the Trandoshian, and plunging all his blades into the target. With the Trandoshian slowing down, and dying, Tru decided to sneak out a hatch he found earlier, with the body. Only a small smear of red decided to remind the pilots that they had left someone behind, as the body sailed down with Tru. Tru was resourceful, compared to most Wookies. So, he ripped off the politician's robes, and began building a sort of parachute for himself. He took a moment to cut off all the unappealing parts of this Trandoshian's naked body, then sailed down, rolled, and leaped off the platform, his bounty awaiting.
