Character Name Full Name • Danica Liviana Nickname • Dani Race • Human Birthplace • Coruscant Age • 35 Gender • female Sexuality • heterosexual Faction • Fringe Concept • A socialite and a businesswoman. Languages • Basic, High Galactic Appearance Face Claim •Vivien Leigh Height & Weight • 174 cm, 68 kg Overall Looks • Danica is a gaze drawing creature, strangely unique in her appearance though, as it were. She has almost obscenely bright, green eyes which shape is wide until it sweeps back at the outer edges. Some have said it makes her look tired, or even strange, but for the most part, when accompanied with flattering makeup - it gives her an unique gaze that leaves most men intrigued. Like many well bred human women, she is lean, curvy, sensual and strong bodied weighing nice 148 pounds. Along with a curvaceous, frame, Danica has supple skin and a body defined by lean muscle from years of training in the art of dance. Typically adorned on her body is clothing of the most expensive fabrics and materials. She knows what to wear and when to wear, even her casual clothes have unique glam look to them.. Danica bears no tattoos or even earrings for she is too vain; believing that if she were to get tattoos it would ruin her skin. There are however flaws in this image, it is just that – an unnatural perfection that may be offputting. It betrays that what Danica shows in not what she was born with but created with a modern surgery. The procedure left small, barely visible scars, just below hairline and jawline. One of the few things she is truly proud in appearance is long, black hair, slightly curly. Danica spends a lot of time arranging them, though bulimia was showing in them as they were rather brittle and needed a lot of supplementation to have them in shape during a bulimic episode. Personality Profile Danica has no easy personality to get close to. Rigid and stubborn, rarely lets someone change her mind, always trying to argue that she is right and the other person is wrong. The unreasonable insistence that others submit exactly to her way of doing things coupled with unreasonable reluctance to do everything alone (after all, others may fail or not include all the details) is a combination that makes people around Danica life hard. Victim to a perfectionism, often considers herself a failure when the outcome is not everything what she expected, Danica often falls into misery after every defeat. She likes rivalry and she does it to an unreasonable degree and often faces the reality that there is no way a human can be good in everything. She is often haunted with feelings of excessive doubt and caution, although at the end often takes huge risks especially in social areas like engaging herself in shady relationships. Danica is not above doing business with anyone. And I mean 'ANYONE'. That would generally make her one of the most tolerant people in her family, but with her it is not the case of 'I don't mind a Hutt slaver' but more 'I dislike everyone equally'. That said, despite elitist upbringing Danica is not a racist, just a misanthrope who treats everyone equally...equally bad. Her family had a lingering belief that other species are far below humanity which makes Danica a black sheep; even though she is the only heir right now who is entitled to majority of the company's stock. After her father's accident, there is no one really to judge her anymore, aside from her own strict inner critic, which can be cruel, pushing her into eating disorder - bulimia which recurred in a time of high stress. It has a bearing on her body, especially stomach and bone density, which is a bit lower than in a healthy woman. She was born as force sensitive which gave her an advantage when doing businesses and generally interacting with people, though she has no knowledge it is the force that gives her it. She is just more sensitive to certain things and has limited, untrained precognition ability that can give her a sense something will go wrong. When not being overly hostile, Danica can turn into a flatterer, reading and knowing what the person wants to hear. Appearing nicer than she really is, which somehow makes up for the nasty attitude. Although it is really superficial as it is hard for her to form any bonds with people. When with a man Danica can be very possessive and jealous though it rarely happens as she is very picky or goes for unachievable, detached and cold individuals that show no interest whatsoever if only to prove herself she can sway such person. Background Father • Cassius Liviana, 55, crimelord Mother • Elena Liviana, dead, lady of the house Siblings •none Other Important Connections • Nieraan Onin, 39, Sith Lord (romantic partner) Marcus, 7, son Nadiria, 7, daughter Yhre, 5 son Overall History • The Glass Happiness Like many things in her life, Danica's birth and conception were designed. Her mother, Elena, had her medical record checked even before Cassius had married her. All genetic tests showed Danica's bloodline to be human even thirty generation back in the history which was what her father, a pro human purist , really wanted. In utero Danica underwent surgery and gene therapy to fix possible shortsightedness. Later in her early life she was immunized to be healthier and even got implants that removed lactose allergy. Everything had to be perfect as Cassius didn't approve of anything less. Shortly after her birth, the obligatory test reveled she was also Force sensitive a fact that Cassius didn't like. He had no interest in giving his heir away to Jedi, the medical files were sealed and all the family forbidden to talk about it. There was no love between her parents and the girl could feel it, as any child would. Lack of warm gestures or any meaningful affection marked beginning of her life. Cassius was a cold man who only lightened up only when accompanied by his friend Vanya. Still, as a daughter she was treated much better than a wife to whom Cassius reacted with aloofness at best often insulting her for every small flaw. His own mistakes the man often pushed on others, blaming them instead of himself. Danica was not spared of it even if occasionally her father decided to play with her. Very early Danica began to present odd behaviors, often sensing something she didn't like was going to happen, like doctor visit or argument between parents. Her father chose to ignore this, never wondering it could happen because of force sensitive his child presented. Harboring dislike toward the Republic he didn't agree to even meet Jedi as he knew what they would ask for. When the two men arrived, one of them being a non-human which irritated Cassius even further, claiming to be of the Jedi he just ordered them to be thrown out. Few year old Danica was peacefully playing in her room, oblivious to fate her father spared her from. The gift stayed with her, manifesting in what she called an intuition, which helped her in taking risk and gave sense of what may happen though to a very limited degree, giving feeling of uneasiness sometimes which often resulted Danica refusing to go into certain deal. Unfortunately she would never listen to it when dealing with her partners, but that would be a song of future. For now Danica was a child whose only concern was to have her basic needs tended. Every single of them was aside from the need of emotional closeness. Raised mostly by nannies and sometimes mother who was a kind woman but not strong enough to stand up to Cassius and a capricious drug abuser. She never went to kindergarten, spending her time with nannies, who sometimes were attentive and sometimes the opposite. For hours young Danica had to find herself something to do. Boredom could be terrible for a lively child which often pushed her to getting attention by various pranks and mischief which resulted in punishment, but at least something happened. One of her favorite pass time aside from causing mayhem, like breaking expensive porcelain, was listening to stories. Old age fairy tales mostly. She could spend hours in the evening listening to them playing, especially so as often her punishment involved spending the entire day in her room. When Danica was entering her sixth year of life her mother died from the drug overdose. Only a year later her maternal grandfather passed away, shortly before mother's only sister died in an unfortunate shuttle accident. Danica was left with a cold, seemingly uncaring father and uncle Vanya. Father's brother had joined the Republic Army as an officer and refused to keep in touch with his own family, though sometimes would send messages to Danica and only her. She did miss her mother greatly but Cassius wouldn't let his daughter to show grief. Sadness was a weakness and no one would think of his daughter as weak. Anger was acceptable, only powerful people's anger was terrifying. Joy was the same as sadness, a weakness. From the range of all emotions Danica was let to show anger but only to moderate degree, never go into fits which were punished with long hours of solitude in her room. It was not far fetched guess to assume it had left her somehow handicapped in forming close bonds with people. It was also about this time Danica went to primary school, first time leaving her family home to meet children her age. The school had everything, one of the best teachers, ambitious program and...bodyguards. Every child would have at least one as it was a place for children of senators and prominent business owners. It had another trait - everyone were humans. Guards, personnel, other pupils. It was one of these places that catered to human purists. It had to pass another few years for Danica to meet an alien to which she reacted with a mixture of surprise and amusement, not repulsiveness as her father would wish for. Such environment was difficult for someone of such lively temperament. A place were everything was prim and proper was also very boring and Danica would often get herself in troubles. Things might go much worse if not for a cunning nature the girl displayed. Danica was smart, plain and simple. She had a gift of weaseling out and avoiding punishment, paired with good grades. Her skills in math and spatial thinking were the only thing that was average with verbal skills and memory excelling majority of students. It didn't however help her in forming friendships. Other kids didn't like Danica's bossy attitude nor her arrogance and tendency to push the fault for misbehavior onto others. Diluting responsibility and excuses were her specialty, one that stayed with her for many years to come. Giving all this, it is safe to say Danica was a lonely child that lived in a gilded cage. With plenty of servants but no friends nor peers she had only her imagination as a company. This was when the girl fell in love in art. Especially paintings. Young Danica could spend hours just watching pictures and reproductions of various artists. In her head they were coming to life in stories. After primary school a high school came. The same setting, expensive, all humans. Danica was a teenager but the spark of rebellion didn't show up yet. From an unruly child a modest lady flourished, who wanted nothing more than to gain her father's affection. She was a good pupil who still suffered on math and physics classes but made up for it in other areas, especially history and languages. That was also when she began to dance. It was additional class at first, only to fill in the program but overtime Danica discovered how much peace it brought her. Her force sensitiveness gave her a bit of easiness in learning it, though as usually Danica didn't attributed it to anything special. She just liked to dance. The school was offering classes in a classical, human form of dance as her father wouldn't approve any other. He was proud in his daughter's abilities, often highlighting how important it was to cherish their species art, threatened by influx of non humans. He would even pay one of famous dancers to give his child private lessons. The reasons Danica loved the dance were much different from those of her father. She liked attention, a lot. Being on a scene was like a narcotic, hearing clapping of people focused only on her. It made her to push herself even more, often losing sleep over training. It didn't make bonding with others easy. She was more mature by now and less arrogant, claiming but still very competitive. Her relationship with girls from the dancing group were shallow at best, often hindered by conflicts and rivalry. Young men got interest in her but Danica's aloofness as well as his father's attitude toward men his daughter befriended, even classmates from good homes, didn't help either. Still she managed to forge few alliances if not friendships, mostly with a group of similar girls who stick together lacking any other option. The 'friendship' fell apart as soon as they went to different universities but it was still more than she had her entire childhood. And so the next twelve years passed. Twelve long years in which Danica was going from classical dance t to High Galactic classes. Every minute of every day was filled with training of some kind. Be it another form of ballet or math lessons. It was her routine to which the girl adjusted pretty well. She was calm, obedient and even managed to dance for couple of years in a famous classical forms of dance group. All this while going to one of the best high schools money could buy. A pride of her father, she made outstanding performance on the debutante ball. Though it was time to get a higher education which seemed to start all the trouble if not to say late teenage rebellion when Danica finally understood that no matter what she would achieve, Cassius would never give her what she wanted. Flaw in a design Years between her nineteenth and twenty fours years of life could be described like a constant party. Prestigious school was one thing, getting high on freedom from the strict father something else entirely. Only her high intellectual level saved her from failing on first two years. It was quite a feat to pass an exam on Ryloth ancient art after two days of binge drinking but Danica had such things mastered. There were fields she excelled in like interpretations and metaphors in art but also those she disliked like math and architecture. To protect her ego and perfectionist nature Danica deemed as unworthy and just plainly cheated weaseling her way through them. It was easier time than in highschool as it was a place she chose herself - a rather expensive university on Coruscant specializing in visual art and anthropology t. For someone raised by a human purist Danica had great affinity toward everything alien. Their art, their culture...Most of her classes focused on integration of both human and alien worlds. And of course there were men. At least three failed and controversial relationships. With a Zeltron mercenary, Corellian smuggler and even a Zygerrian pilot. She did everything to put her father, an advocate of human purity and restrain, to shame. In her rumored conquers was even a Jedi though no one managed to verify it so it was left as an empty boast as the Order was very strict when it came to such relationships. There was an upside to this as from the Zygerian she received a small amount of training in how to deal with firearms, mostly small blasters. Even get to shoot few times as a part of her training. The harder Danica tried to shock her father, the less Cassius paid attention gritting his teeth. He vowed not to give his daughter a satisfaction of winning. He did the only thing he saw fitting – cut off the girl's funds only paying for tuition and nothing more. To eat, Danica had to go back to her family home and share meals with her father whose demeanor grew even colder, especially after Vanya had died on heart condition. Such meals were horrible experience and the young woman did everything to avoid them often spending time with men to get asked out for a nice dinner. It wasn't hard as Danica was beautiful, used to attention though such meals ended mostly in her saying thank you, see you next time. Toying with men's feelings was one of her newest hobby, one she maintained till the end of her education. The colder, unapproachable male, the better. Species was rarely an issue though Danica had her standards that were very high. There had to be something special about the male, some outstanding feature that went with emotional detachment. This were years of her higher education when her relationship with Cassius decayed from month to month as her social life flourished. Though it were very shallow bonds based on passion more than anything else. As for friends...They were scarce and far in between as if Danica was unable to keep anyone close. I will be better than you Danica graduated at the top of her group, though it had cost her a lot. Stress and unhealthy life style caused an eating disorder to emerge. Bulimia was just another way of maintaining strict control over her life though as impulsive and temperamental girl, Danica had hard time in keeping to her promises. She ate too much when on diet just to later throw up. This continued for the next year and even got worse when Cassius ordered her to work as his partner in managing Liv. Now a fairly big company with at least few dozen of clubs, bars and galleries all over the Core Worlds. Danica didn't like that, she was twenty five, free spirited and wanted to be an artist. She spent her time as anonymous patron of rival clubs, meeting men, flirting and generally having fun. Such pattern of behavior never truly diminished even when Cassius had a stroke which damaged his brain beyond any repair. It happened during one of her night escapades, one of their servants had called her saying Cassius was dying. Danica didn't react and let herself to finish a drink before going to comatose father. He wasn't dead and wouldn't die for years to come but his cortical regions of his brain showed only a faint gleam. The young woman signed all the papers, agreed to disconnect her parent from feeding and breathing tubes, although her father's lawyers stonewalled it, claiming Cassius heart was beating and lungs were working on their own. She was still an heir until Cassius miraculously woke up, although the agreement was appointed lawyers would watch if the wayward daughter fulfilled her duties well. One such lawyer was Devon Miller, an ambitious man, claiming to be her father's last friend and indeed in case of Cassius being unable to lead the company but alive, it would be Devon who would be appointed as representative, sharing power with Danica over the company, especially to observe if the last heir did her job right. It was enough to say, such meek power in Devon's eyes, was not acceptable. He wanted more and was very open about his ambitions. As for Danica, her emotions were numb to the point she couldn't even cry. The tears never came but only relief. As horrible as it sounded, it was a relief, even if Cassius ghost was still around to haunt her in a way. In a form of horrible, little man who kept empty husk of her father's body to fulfill his own dreams of money and power. Not being able to do anything about it for now, Danica began to take care of Liv and Co business matters, although rage filled her every time Devon would call to whine and complain. She methodically went through all the documents noticing it was Vanya who was made an heir before her, until his premature death. It was infuriating but at the end of the day it was Danica who got the business with all its assets. Only then the young woman learned Liv was in serious financial troubles her father had never told her about. Instead of golden goose she was handed an old rooster on a verge of death. The clubs were not bringing enough assets, places on Corellia were a miss as people there were not fond of such establishments like expensive clubs. Such situation had been going on for years and Cassius refused to do anything about it as if he failed to see any of his mistakes. Danica vowed to bring back what Liv once was, no matter the cost. There was Devon to deal with, even if it meant illegal means .She wouldn't hesitate to make business with criminal underground if she had to... Fully knowing it was the darker shade to Livco business. Most of the assets being held in the Hutt space, through Cassius' criminal activity. The Brave New Life Her life went on, led by a known trail until at one party on Naboo she'd met a mysterious Firrerreo assassin. The pair forged a temporary alliance to get rid of the hosts, an obstruction in Danica's business ventures on Naboo. This went exceptionally well but the alliance didn't end there but morphed into hours of long intimacy when they both decided to test the mutual attraction that brew between them from the start. The long night had passed and the lovers parted their ways, Danica held firm resolve never to meet Nieraan again as she didn't want to get emotionally attached but as usually happens the heart won over the reason and Danica pulled out a piece of napkin the Firrerreo had left behind. She sent him a message, hiding the true intentions of romantic nature under a promise of a job. They met on Nar Shaddaa to find themselves under attack from Cassius enemies. Nieraan valiantly protected Danica but the true danger came from no one else but her father's men. Once they hit the space, Broca - her father's hitman - indirectly threatened Nieraan, though it was realization that Cassius was alive pushed Danica to finally take action and break free from the gilded chains. The Firrerreo promised his help and so the couple vanished in the crowds of Tattoine during the ship's fueling. The plan was simple, to steal a lion's share of Cassius' assets he hoarded on Tattooine. Earned through the illegal spice trade. It didn't go without a hitch but the pair managed to get their hands on part of the assets. Having no other place to go but with a considerate amount of credits, Danica went to Korriban with Nieraan, where she learned who her lover had been all along – a Sith Knight. There the Coruscanti woman, hunted by her father and his lackeys, began to rebuild the Livco name under Sith banner to show Cassius her worth and vowed never to be a slave to anyone's whims ever again.
