Hey everyone, here’s an updated version of the banned stuff list for SWU
Note: due to the massive scope and ever-evolving nature of the Star Wars universe, anything not listed here may still fall to staff discretion for approval.
Character Profile aspects
Race/species:
- Any/all shapeshifter species
- Any species that have yet to be discovered or rediscovered by our current time period
- Gen'Dai
- Any non-canon, non-near-human hybrids
- Sith (the race)
- Yoda's species
- Anzat
- Croke
- Starweird
Bio
- Any mention of canon characters
Lightsaber colors:
- Clear
- Ultraviolet
Lightsaber crystals:
- Any that alter the lightsaber besides its color (i.e. lava gems)
Force powers:
- Art of the Small
- Create Force Wraith
- Deadly Sight
- Dimension Shift
- Fold Space
- Force Corrupt
- Force Light
- Force Storm (Wormhole)
- Force Travel
- Force Teleport
- Mechu-deru
- Midichlorian Manipulation
- Phase
- Shatterpoint
- Sith Alchemy (or any derivative powers)

Narrative powers/items
With the reboot, we’re introducing a new category of powers/items. These are banned for individual character use. However, that does not mean they’re forbidden entirely. They may be allowed for certain missions or story events. Several of the Force powers, for example, need multiple Sith/Jedi to make happen, so it makes sense that they would be tied to events, rather than individual characters (and keep you guys from wasting specialization slots on them). Some tech matters, like the deployment of biological weapons, would need inherent narrative approval anyway.
So some of these may pop up in the future for threads/thread chains if needed, and their use will be allowed as is reasonable for those specific events.
