Personality Profile
While the rest of his family and race sought a violent life, Crugeh believes that knowledge is more important than any kind of strength. He resorts to violence only a last option and tries to talk his way out of trouble first. He often pauses for a moment before speaking as a show of respect: that he thinks before he speaks. Crugeh will prefer to look out for all of his options before acting. He is willing to risk himself if it means securing vital knowledge, whether it revolves around the past or the future.
Growing older with each day, Crugeh has recognized that his story is nearing its conclusion. As such, he has taken up the role of both historian and teacher. He intends to impart the vast knowledge he has collected through research and experience onto the next generation, which he sees as hope for the future. By teaching about the past, he hopes to warn others of the mistakes their predecessors have made so that they could learn and never repeat them. Although he rarely shows emotions, he takes on a fatherly role to his students and often keeps in touch with them.

Overall History • Crugeh and his twin brother, Takh, were raised within Trandosha. Their parents were both followers of the Scorekeeper and raised that belief in their children as well. The twins formed a rivalry with both determined to earn more points than the other brother. As young children, they each discovered that they were Force-Sensitive. Remembering how their father spoke of the ferocity of Jedi Knights in battle, the two decided to join the Jedi Order. They were able to sneak aboard a smuggler's ship leaving Trandosha, and after meeting the smuggler, convinced him to drop him off at Coruscant. It was there the two were taken in to attend the Jedi Academy.
The two trained as younglings, and by the time they turned 13, were taken in by Alejar Baltry, an old, crippled Jedi Master as students. Due to their master's status, their training was limited and they did not see most of the world. Crugeh spent extra hours studying with Alejar in the archives, becoming fascinated with history. Slowly, his faith in the Scorekeeper faded away as he cared little for battle. Growing up, he finally decided that the hunt for lost history is more important than the hunt for people or beasts. This ultimately led to a clash between himself and Takh as their training neared its conclusion.
After the twins entered their twenties, Alejar decided it was time to train them for the trials. While Takh completed the Trial of Skill with ease, Crugeh struggled and barely managed to succeed. When it came time for the Trial of Spirit, Crugeh meditate deeply and saw what he believed to be the Scorekeeper. It was then that he swore off his former belief and dedicated himself to the ways of the Jedi, thus completing the trial. However, Takh failed the trial, and out of anger of his brother surpassing him and swearing off their way of life, struck down Alejar. The two brothers had a brief match that ended in a standstill with Takh fleeing from the Academy, taking Alejar's lightsaber as a trophy. Crugeh mourned for the loss of both of his master and apprentice, but passed the Trial of Flesh, and by the age of 22, was made a Jedi Knight.
Now a Jedi Knight, Crugeh dedicated himself to unearthing lost lore scattered across the galaxy. This brought him to many different planets where he would often join up with other historians or archaeologists in his hunt for knowledge. During this brief period of time, Crugeh took on two students: Krish the Wookie and Notrei the Zabrak. Krish resisted having a Trandoshan as his mentor while Notrei struggled overcoming a blood lust she held in her heart. While traveling with his padawans, Crugeh helped Krish and Notrei overcome their own problems. After nine years of training, the two would ended up becoming Jedi Knights, and their teacher formally became a master.
A year after becoming a master, the Empire revealed itself and waged war against the Galactic Republic. Crugeh assisted in the war effort by learning as much as he could about his enemy. He would speak with captured Imperials in an attempt to learn more about the Sith. Crugeh chronicled the war through a series of journals, intending to record history should the Sith emerge victorious over the Jedi. Towards the end of the war, Crugeh discovered that the Empire hired Takh as an assassin but dared not approach him, fearing that he was the more experienced of the way. With an uneasy peace between the Republic and Empire, Crugeh returned to his duties as historian and teacher, ready to learn and teach as needed.
