Dante's face is square and angular, usually sporting a shadow of a beard. His body is usually tanned, and his clothing are plain and basic. He doesn't care much for having armor on, preferring to talk or use his wits to keep out of a fight if it comes to it. He thinks of himself as being ruggedly handsome, though others see him in other light. Personality Profile Dante is, in a few short words, sarcastic, blunt, and easy going. Is is the kind of man who says what is on his mind, and generally has some sort of witty comeback to what people say. He doesn't like to wait around when there is stuff to do. He cares very much about the one person, his self adopted sister,  Scarlet.  After finding the girl after a battle he was involved in, he took her as his own little sister of sorts, and is the one thing he is ever serious about protecting. He doesn't mind killing others, but is against cold blooded murder. Dante has a love for history, and can often be seen reading or going over old texts or history books. He schools up Scarlet when ever he can, not wanting her to be missing out on education that she could have had. For her, he tries to preserve his own life so he can make it home after every mission. Background Father • Ash Rook (unknown) Mother • Liz Harper (dead) Siblings • Scarlet Rook - adopted sister Other Important Connections • Overall History • Dante was born on Corellia to an older woman named Liz, nearly 50 at the time, and a Mandalorian Father, or so that was said, by the name of Ash Rook. Dante never knew if it was true or not, but growing up, he enjoyed the thought of having a Mandalorian father. Dante was a bit of a trouble maker while in school, getting into fights and whatnot. His teachers always believed he would achieve great things if he applied himself, but as he grew older, everyone saw him as nothing more than a simple kid, to become a simple man as he eventually entered high school. At the age of 14 in his first year of high school, his mother died in a speeder accident when someone smashed into hers and killed her instantly. Alone, he fended for himself, growing up fast over the next two years. Eventually he dropped out of school at 16, paying someone with money left to him to forge a new birth certificate to change his birth date so he could join the Republic Military. It was at the right time as the Mandalorians began to to slowly advance on the Republic. At the same time, the Sith made themselves known, and quickly enough, there was open war. Before Dante was 18, he was sent off to all sorts of fancy schools because he proved himself in combat and had a fairly tactical mind. He was recruited into the Special Forces of the Republic. For nearly a year, he had advance training, and gained piloting in his skillset. At 19, he was assigned to a new unit as the Pilot and long range support to his Platoon. Designated as Naughty Dog 2, him and the rest of the Naughty Dog's help achieved many wins across the warzones they were involved in. One of the biggest failures, even before he was 20, was the battle of Taris, which he barely had any involvement. He dropped his team in, but immediately picked them up and was on duty to fly down and pick up any survivors from a planetwide Rakghoul attack. The Republic began to lose footholds after Taris as the Sith pushed inward. There was a change of leadership when Dante was 20, and the new leadership was a fairly toxic man, and preferred more death over helping others, believing anyone would slow them down and it was them first. At the age of 21, while on downtime, the Sith attacked the planet they were on, forcing them to scramble. Something broke in his mind at this point, and he saw, for the first time, the serious devastation war caused, not just from the attacking side, but on the side being attacked. Dante saved a young alien girl, maybe close to 10 years younger than he was, but his leader told him to leave the girl and get to his ship and prepare to attack. Dante didn't listen, instead choosing to help out the girl, and whoever else he could, to get them out of the warzone. His commander said he would court martial Dante if he continued his action. Dante stunned the man, taking the girl in his gunboat and left the area, going AWOL. He quickly found himself on Nar Shaddaa, where he sold the gunboat on the black market and got a small apartment. He knew his money wouldn't last long, but for now, it was enough for him to help out the girl. She had amnesia, Dante guessed from PTSD and her mind forcing her to forget the attack she was involved in, and didn't even remember her name. He gave her the name Scarlet because of her red hair. After a few months, Dante sought out the Exchange on Nar Shaddaa, gaining work as a pilot and smuggler and occasional enforcer. He consistently took work that was easy and had little chances for him to be killed, and while it didn't pay much, it allowed him to make it home to Scarlet, who referred to him as her older brother. She had a big attachment on him, and he would often take her with him on milkruns. At the age of 25, he was almost killed when his freighter was attacked by pirates. He managed to limp back to Nar Shaddaa, but the frighter was done. Fearing he would lose work, he had a light freighter loaned out to him. He would need to work extra hard to pay it back and eventually get a new one for himself. He was tasked with more dangerous missions, but he proved himself, gaining more and more experience. At the age of 26 now, with Scarlet being 16, he was doing more with the Exchange, Scarlet helping out more on the back end and being a copilot for him. He still had her do some holonet schooling but for the most of it, she was his partner. Her memories had began to return to her slowly, but for the most part, she is Dante's little sister.
