Recent EntriesFriends Archive Profile | Shan Tuyet Tasting Notes 16th of SpaceJune 3592 @ 4:01 pm TEA NAME: ‘Shan Tuyet’ TYPE AND SOURCE: Black Tea, COMPANY and COST: what-cha 5.13 / 50g DRY LEAF: Shape: wiry, long Color: black with some lighter tips Fragrance: malty, fruity WET LEAF: Fragrance: like dry, more intense Appearance: still twisted up IN THE CUP: Color: dark reddish brown Fragrance: malty Flavor: surprisingly mild for a black tea, pleasant but underwhelming Aftertaste: slightly tannic, doesn’t linger STEEPED: 2 tsps in 12 oz of water, for 3 minutes at 200° F ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Inoffensive without sweetener or diary.
