His performance, fueled by an unknown Force sensitivity, was praised by his superiors as he put his soul into his training and was looked upon favorably. However, his naive perception of the military and uncompromising loyalty also earned him the ire of select superiors and this was his ultimate undoing when Darion discovered a shady underbelly to his units superiors. Due to this and how far the corruption went up the ladder, the young adult Darion was effectively blocked from promotion and was framed for treason. His career and life as a soldier was ended as he was thrown out without due process. The superiors even managing to freeze his assets, in an attempt to further ruin the ex-soldier. Darion returned to his family only to be disowned. His father, a retired soldier himself, could not bear the shame of his own son "soiling" the family legacy and his mother reluctantly went along with her husbands decree, ignoring all insistence of innocence. This event would shape him drastically as Darion became a homeless drifter, hardly able to afford getting off planet to try his luck at rebuilding his shattered trust and life. Darion's life would be a shambled mess for several years. His family made no attempt to contact him, but he still loved them as only a son could. His hatred for what occurred to his life and dream assisted in fueling his will to press forward. It wasn't until Darion was discovered by a Force wielder and his latent ability with the power realized, that his luck began to turn for the better.
