Ori'pel Kelborn Full Name • Ori'pel Kelborn Nickname • Ori Race • Kushiban/Cyborg Birthplace • Kushibah Age • 31 Gender • Male Sexuality • Hetero Faction • Mando'a Concept • Rank 3, Mad Engineer/Gun-for-hire Languages • Basic, Mando'a; Assets • Full set of light Beskar'gam designed for full mobility at the cost of protection, including jet pack; Numerous explosive devices and a compliment of weapons that vary based on his mission; and repair kit for weapons and cybernetics. Each weapon he carries is mounted to his armor via magnetic hard-point. Appearance Face Claim • Voice by Bradley Cooper Height & Weight • 3'6" tall x 2'7" long & 80lbs Overall Looks • Though Ori prefers moving on all fours to walking bipedal due to the vastly increased speed and ability, he retains his race's full capacity to stand upright when he wants to. Measuring in at just above average in terms of height for his race, and significantly heavier due to cybernetic modification, Ori'pel is still a rather diminutive figure. His fur coat is generally off-white in color, though can change to better fit in with his surroundings or in accordance to his mood. Red is a pretty frequent color for him. Of his non-standard features, Ori has numerous cybernetic devices implanted beneath his skin and more than a few that are visible to the eye. The most noticable by far are the pair of robotic limbs, one foreleg and the other hind leg, as well as the cybernetic eye that replaced his previous one. While these cybernetic 'enhancements' slow him down in relation to the rest of his race, those and others allow him to heft weight exceeding twice his body weight as well as wield full sized weapons. Awkward and innacurate as that may be, he was never one to care for precision. Personality Profile In a word, quiet. On appearances alone, one might expect the cuddly little ball of fluff to be jovial and happy, however his trust has been betrayed in the past. It's because of this that Ori is shy and withdrawn, often pulling into his own mind to mentally go over plans and equations for some new instrument of death. He's instantly suspicious of new people, even within his own clan, and will often do his absolute best to avoid them unless he has a specific purpose in mind. Once friendship is attained, however, one has earned Ori's absolute loyalty. He's found to be sassy and quick of wit, and not afraid to be direct or blunt when the time calls for it. Love is best shown by telling the truth when everyone else wants to blow smoke up one's bantha shoot, and by the Force Ori loves his friends. In combat, however, Ori is a different beast entirely. Explosions and blaster-fire visibly excite him, shifting his fluffy coat into a jubilant green, though he's careful to temper that enthusiasm so that it doesn't turn into recklessness and get him or his vode killed. Background Father • Ifrit, 60, Silkweed farmer Mother • L'sia, 63, Silkweed farmer Siblings • n/a Other Important Connections • Zeikar Borzane, 105 (deceased), Arkanian geneticist/cybernetic surgeon Ilii'alaar Vevut, 50, Mandalorian Mercenary Overall History • Ori was born to a pair of farmers on Kushibah, however it wasn't there that he stayed. After only a few years of life a cadre of slavers attacked his parents farm, and while his parents were left untouched he was taken. Ori remembers very little of this time, and for good reason. It wasn't until he was sold to a geneticist and underground cybernetic surgeon, Zeikar, that his memories first started. The Arkanian needed a young creature that wouldn't speak of his crimes, and upon seeing the little ball of fluff he'd assumed to have found what he was looking for. Throughout the many years of Ori's imprisonment by Zeikar, the Kashiban was altered. Pulled apart. Put back together. Enhanced, as the Arkanian called it. Yet, as Ori grew he learned. Though early on he spoke, the young creature quickly realized he was far better off pretending to be a dumb beast. It was that ignorance on the Arkanian's part that wound up being his downfall, as the young Ori knew that he couldn't best him in hand to hand combat. However, blasters didn't care about size. A holdout blaster left out on the counter left a crater in the man's chest, freeing Ori. Using the knowledge gleaned from many of Zeikar's books, Ori began to construct weapons and instruments of death. Explosives. Armor. Whatever he could. He also began to practice with blasters and slicing, and soon became one of the most sought after mercenaries in the outer rim territories. It was during those escapades that he befriended Ili, a grizzled mandalorian mercenary who eventually brought him into the civilization. Though he only managed to serve in the waning years of the Mandalorian crusade, Ori found a special pleasure in warfare and found himself wanting more when it had concluded. However, when Mandalore the Regulator took power, and thus began speaking of great hunts, a smile found his face. |
