The summit -- the first since the end of open hostilities between the two powers -- is focused on the ongoing Archeri Chorus crisis in Hutt Space. Sources within both nations have suggested that neither will consider military intervention before the summit. Despite this, reports from both of the nations indicate rising support for action especially in the wake of the loss of border systems for each. The Empress and Chancellor have both faced criticism for a pereiceved lack of action so far. Members of both the Jedi Order High Council and Sith Order Inner Sanctum are also expected to be in attendance, marking the first time the two groups have met since the conclusion of the Galactic War.
