Fera takes great care of herself, taking pride in her curvaceous body and works to keep herself in fantastic shape. For clothing, Fera sticks to tight bodysuits, normally hidden under Jedi robes. She sometimes wears a headdress to show her royalty, though in these more recent times isn't anything but an ancient title. Fera has a cybernetic left arm, starting just below the shoulder. It has been modified and enhanced using phrik as a base element, making it extremely strong and light. Inside the forearm she has a handful of small, thin blades that can extend out of her palm for sneak attacks, or fired as a silent assassin tool. Her upper arm contains sharp shrapnel and dart heads that she can wrap up in illusions for attacks. Personality Profile Fera, in a few words, can be described as a older sister and confidant. Anyone who sees her instantly know she is of royal blood by how she acts and holds herself. She grew up as both a Jedi and a Princess, and took traits from both. She works for others and would better them, using her own knowledge and nature to let others grow. Fera is wise and thinks through problems before acting. She use to have a habit of second guessing herself before and after acting but now she thinks and generally acts on her first guess as it usually the correct action. Though she is was a teacher, Fera is she is a fierce fighter, using her skills with the force to confuse her opponents, even if its only for a moment. She has no problems using cheap tricks and underhanded tactics to win, and makes she her students know this as well. As Fera is from an era long passed, her thoughts and views are quite different from those commonly found in the common era, and is working to adjust herself, which is much easier said than done. Background Father • King Alarik, (Deceased) Mother • Former Jedi Master Queen Nani (Deceased) Siblings • Prince Alarik II Brother (Deceased) Other Important Connections • Current Jedi Counsel Zom, former apprentice (Deceased) Aoi Dannay, Adopted daughter and former Apprentice (Deceased) Overall History • Fera was born at the tale end of the Manderon period of the Galactic Republic history. She was the second and final child of the king of Thustra, Alarik, and his wife, Queen Nani, who was also a Jedi Master. Alarik, the first born and next in line to the throne was not force sensitive, unlike Nani and Fera. Fera went on to train as a Jedi on Coruscant when she was of appropriate age. She was a model student, getting the hang of things easily and showed to even be a teacher at a young age by helping others understand stuff if she got it fully. At the age of 11, Fera passed her initiate stage and became a Padawan to one Jedi Master Hisal: A very old and motherly Jedi. At a time of peace as well, there wasn't much for the duo to do besides for Hisal to instill knowledge in the young Jedi. For much of the time, Fera and Hisal were on Thustra, only occasionally leaving for Coruscant or nearby systems to help out and get experience with off world problems. At the time of her becoming a Padawan, she renounced her title and any claim to the throne, though she was still called a Princess due to her family ties, though the title meant nothing. Through many tests and trials, young Fera was shown to be very talented at using the force, especially when it came to using skills mind tricks. Nani was talented more in TK and physical aspects of the force, and many of those skills rubbed off on her daughter. At the age of 22, the young Sephi Padawan graduated and became an official Jedi Knight. She was mostly based on Coruscant, or at least assigned missions from there as she went around the galaxy helping against minor early Mandalorian raiders, Pirates, and the like. When floating around the galaxy and missions, Fera was constantly reading and bettering herself. At the ripe age of 25, Fera became the master of a young Kel Dor named Zom who just became a padawan. at the age of 12, he was still quite young and inexperienced, but the Jedi Counsel believed that Fera was up to the task. It was still relatively rare for the Kel Dor to have someone as a Jedi rather than a Baran Do Sage, but for some reason unknown to Fera, Zom was to become a Jedi. He was still a rash and impulsive child, from a lowborn family. Fera learned that Zom was basically picked from the streets. The Padawan was nearly the complete opposite of Fera in that way. Yet it wasn't something completely out of Fera's power. Zom was a diligent student, a young man thirsty to learn, especially when it involved combat. Three years into his Padawanship and the 15 year old Kel Dor was a great duelist, matching Fera when she was casually fighting. Together, the two moved on from hard lightsaber training and onto other variants of lightsabers. Zom liked the double bladed lightsaber while Fera had the height and reach to use a lightsaber pike to its full effect. Truthfully, she went with a basic collapsable spear. She also began to learn Jar'Kai, but stretching herself out so far at her young age didn't allow the woman to fully focus on one combat style. In the practice arenas in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, it wasn't uncommon for the woman to be defeated, even if she put up a strong fight. Wanting to better herself, slowly she began to think of ways to develop her own unique style of fighting. At the age of 30, Fera fell ill, coughing up blood one day that caught everyone around her, including her mother and Zom, off guard. She was rushed to Thustra's capital hospital where she was brought up to stable condition. Blood tests showed that during some of her adventures around the galaxy she picked up a bad viral infection and current medical technology wouldn't fully cure her. Still, it didn't seem like it would affect her much since they knew it was there and it would only be an amount of time before it was gone. At the age of 35, with Zom being 22, the Padawan officially became a Jedi night. At the same time, Fera was elevated to the rank of Master. At least that was the plan but Fera turned down the promotion, saying that she wasn't ready yet. Instead, the woman moved to Ossus, assisting with the academy there rather than take on a new Padawan. She was an assistant for a more seasoned Master, and when she wasn't assisting in the classroom, she was in the library studying with the force. She worked hard to improve her skills with force. Specifically, illusions and anything that would affect anothers mind. At the age of 40, Fera got a call from the main temple that Zom and his Padawan had disappeared while on a mission in the mid rim to quell some pirate activity. They thought that Fera would know where he could have gone seeing as she knew him better than most everyone else in the order. Later that day, Fera took a shuttle and went off to the Falleen Sector, where Zom was last seen. It didn't take too long for Fera to catch wind of the pirate activity, which seemed to have gotten more aggressive. Fera decided to work with the local law enforcement to capture the Pirates. Fera posed as a simple freight runner and had a number of officers hidden about. When the Pirates came out and boarded her, she went with them and was surprised by who she saw. Zom was the leader of these pirates, and she could feel the dark taint within him. The young Jedi had a taste of power and now was working to get more and more. he spouted that it was his future to take control of this section of the galaxy. While in the middle of his long winded speech, Fera struck out, using the force to conjure weapons into her hands. These were just illusions and didn't have anything but intimidation factors. She also made many law enforcement officers appear. The pirates started shooting them, but as they were fake, they ended up shooting each other in the crossfire. When it was determined that Fera was only using illusions, the real law enforcement popped out of their hidden alcoves and began shooting. Many of the pirates were taken down before they got it together. At the same time, Fera used the force to pull her lightsaber off of Zom's belt, lighting the viridian blade and twirling into an attacking position. It was hard to fight in the cramped quarters of the freighter, and Zom being shorter than Fera had an advantage. This advantage caused him to get inside of Fera's guard and took off her arm below the shoulder. She may have lost it, but Fera took that moment to run her blade through her former Padawan, killing him. Fera was taken immediately to the Falleen capital and given medical treatment. They couldn't save her arm, forcing the Jedi to get a rather crude replacement before returning to Ossus. Once back on the Jedi controlled world, Fera was given a more suitable replacement limb, and was finally promoted to that of a Master. She accepted this time, but her everyday life didn't change much. She grew use to her new limb, and practiced her force skills and combat skills, working to meld them together to offset weaknesses of each. Essentially, she was the equivalent of a Sentinel. It took Fera the better part of a two years to get use to her new arm, which she found to be much more crude and bulky compared to her old flesh and blood one. The cybernetic limb was nearly the same as her old one in dimensions. She did like that it was stronger and faster than her old one as well. 8 years later, when Fera was 50, she was more than use to having a cybernetic arm, and improvements to make it lighter and of stronger composite materials. She took to wearing a tunic that had no sleeves, on either side to keep it in balance, and showed off the soft metallic color of her arm. In the same time jump, Fera also became a full time specialty teacher, teaching initiates, specifically Telepathy, which was her strongest abilities concerning the force. It wasn't to say she wasn't weak at much as she was quite wise and powerful now. In addition to the force, she was the master at using a spear in combat, as she felt safer with an extended reach compared to a generic lightsaber. This wasn't to say she wasn't incompetent with a lightsaber, as she was able to stand her ground well in a strait fight. What truly made her shine as a Jedi Master and teacher was her ability to mold her force illusions with combat. She would create replicas of whatever weapon she was wielding and 'throw' them at others. She would do it periodically through the fight and when the opponent was use to it and knew it was an illusion, Fera would use sharp metal pieces or arrow heads in her illusions and rip through her targets. In practice and duels, she would use softer objects like rubber balls, so she wouldn't hurt anyone but prove a point. She would also create beasts and the such to show the possibilities of the telepathic ability. At the age of 55, Fera's mysterious illness kicked back in while in the middle of a lecture, and she passed out, hitting her head on the podium she was around. The woman was unconscious for more than three days, with Jedi doctors tending to her the entire time. She was very weak after that, and was stuck in bed for a month after she first woke up. Eventually, she began to recover, and later that year, she was back to her normally, healthy self. Well that wasn't the truth of it. Her illness was still there, waving in and out. She was lucky not to have another bad attack like before but she was stuck to light duty and not much stuff involving fighting. Her knowledge of the force made her a staple on Ossus, but her thirst was greater than her willpower to stay on the planet. For five years, Fera stayed as a teacher on Ossus. During that time, her illness was non existant. She felt it was time to move on, and left for Thustra, joining her aging parents and brother. She had been away from home for long enough and felt that it would be a good time for a change of pace. If anything, for her health at least. She took over the role of Jedi Watchman for that region for her Mother, who was moving on to become a member of the Jedi Council. Fera wasn't only the Watchman for Thustra, but up and down the nearest trade routes. It was pretty casual, as she was working with several other Jedi Knights in the area. It was also good being back home for the most part. Her father was slowly pulling away, allowing her brother, Alrik II, to take a more front line roll in being the ruler of their planet. Fera was along side as well, representing the Jedi and helping him keep in line. At the age of 65, Fera fell ill again, but she was on Thustra this time, and was able to get some medical help immediately. Blood tests by the medicals showed that her illness was some form of advanced, mutated Tuberculosis, that, thankfully, wasn't spreadable. Which was good considering she has been all up and down the galaxy. She didn't understand all the terminology the doctors threw around, but she knew that it was nothing good. She was also told that she should have been dead after the first attack, but the force sustained her enough for her body to fight off the initial attack. After that she grew use to the disease. Unfortunately, with the current medical technology, they were unable to treat her. Fera found a work around, which was a healing meditation. It wouldn't cure her, but it was enough to keep her strong and fit. Or as fit as she could be while staving off a disease that attacked her at random. 5 years later, at the age of 70, Fera gave up her position as a watchman. She didn't want to have an attack while traveling around away from medical help. She also made her way back to Ossus, where the Jedi there would also render help to her if needed. History told her that she would probably fall ill again soon. It struck a year later. 71 years old, and Fera collapsed in the middle of a lesson, her vision swimming. When she woke up, she learned she was in a coma for the past six days, the Jedi doing what they could for this most current attack. It took a few days for her to be back on her feet and walking around again. Over this recovery time, she befriended a young Firrerreo girl by the name of Aoi Dannay. Black with a blue tinged gave the girl a lovely look, and her strength in the force drew in Fera's big sister instincts. Fera didn't show the girl anything extra over the other younglings, besides some extra attention when not in classes. Over a short amount of time, Fera felt less like a bigger sister and more as a mother as Aoi grew up around her. In six years, Fera took Aoi as her Padawan learner. The girl was 13 now with Fera being the old age of 77, even though she looked like she was in her 20's still. They ventured outside little, with Aoi perfectly happy reading and learning more about the force than Fera could possibly teach at once. On more than one occasion, the two of them went to Thurstra, visiting family. Two years later, though she was a Firrerreo, Fera adopted Aoi, feeling a very strong connection with the girl. A year after that, at 80, Fera fell ill again. This time she was in a coma for 6 months. Recovery was slow, taking nearly that long to get back into good health. Still, she wasn't back to where she use to be, but she was well enough. Enough to finish Aoi's training. The most dangerous thing the two did was while coming back from a trip to Thurstra they had an emergency call from Chandrila. They had a small fleet being preyed upon by pirates, only they were acting odd. The dynamic duo transitioned that way, taking a few days to get settled and situated they began their hunt for the pirates. They posed as merchants in a trader fleet with engine problems on their ship. It wasn't long before the pirates came in. Mandalorian pirates. Though Fera would have been a match for them, Aoi was not. Getting the the engines back on in a hurry, Fera rocketed them off, but their ship wasn't quite fast enough to make it away. Luckily, the Chandrilaa fleet arrived and blew the pirates out of the water. That was the last mission that Fera felt comfortable doing. After that incident, Fera fell ill, but not comatosed this time. Fera was getting weaker by the year, her body, though still appearing youthful, was getting slower and weaker. The Jedi had to rely on her skills with the force to help her through. At the age of 85, Fera happily knighted Aoi. Her adopted daughter was overjoyed at finally becoming a knight. She went off on adventures while Fera stayed on Coruscant, regularly healing herself through meditation and what medicine could do for her. For the next several years, Fera drifted in and out of health issues, until one day there was some sort of attack on the planet. She was going to aid but was having health problems. Medical officials said that they were close to figuring out a cure for Fera, and her family, or those on Corusant at the time such as her father, insisted she was frozen in carbonite so she would be guaranteed to survive and make it through and cure herself. Reluctantly, she agreed with what her father wanted, making the decision, which the even the Jedi doctors said would be perfectly fine. The last thing she remembered was intense pain. Her frozen form was in good standing and she was brought to the lower temple, which after she was stored away safely, fell under fire and was half collapsed. Everyone who brought her down was killed, and the site was thought forever destroyed as no one returned from the chaos. For over a 1000 thousand years, she remained, hidden away while plugged into life support, until she was rediscovered by raiders looking for a way to break into the Temple. The Archeri thread was just getting underway at this time, barely starting to invade Hutt space, so the Temple was a prime spot for raiders. The raiders were stopped by a few Jedi, and discovered the still surprisingly surviving Jedi. She was slowly unfrozen over a weeks time, but was still in a coma. Blood tests showed her disease and sickness, which was healed up quickly with a long Kolto bath as well as over 1400 of advancements. She was woken up. Over the next six months, she was slowly brought up to speed of history and events, as well as strengthen herself up. She figured she wouldn't get her strength back for many years, and was fine with that. Inwardly, she was broke from being displaced so far. Outwardly, she kept her teacher look, always cool and calm. Fera had much to learn about this new era, so she stayed around the temple and had little plans to go exploring, especially around her home planet. |
