Vigilante of sorts Languages • Basic. Understands Binary, Huttese, Rodian. Assets • Some swords. Armor. Few blasters. Lightsaber. Light freighter. Appearance Face Claim • Warrior of Light/Darkness/derplander. FFXIV Height & Weight • 6'1" 189 lbs Overall Looks • Ash is a man of average height. Red/brown hair that is slightly on the longer side. He has bright blue eyes, intelligent and shining. Along his face is a few scars, namely over his right eye and cheek. His body is cut as if out of stone. On the left side of his chest is a large Tattoo that is reminiscent of a large bird. His arms have some cybernetic modifications from when he was younger. They were implemented to help them from a deformity when he was a child and had to keep getting them upgraded as he grew. Therefore his arms and hands have thin scars running across them. His clothing changes based on what he has to do. Usually he wears light clothing, easily stuck under armor. His favorite is a simple vest and some pants and boots with an animal print motif. His combat uniform is mostly black armor, with purple and gunmetal grey accents to it. The armor is mostly Matrix armor with some phrik lining, and a a undersuit and kama of armorweave. It is lightly powered to help Ash's body in heavy combat. He wears a thing brown or black cloak over him to cover his armor and around his weapons, which are easily removed before a fight. His only weapon when he is in his armor is a massive sword, about as tall as he is and over half as wide. It is extremely thick and heavy, wielded easily by Ash due to his cybernetics and thrown around faster with pushes from the force. Otherwise he prefers his fists, or if he needs to, a lightsaber. Personality Profile Ash is a fairly stoic man, quiet and calculating. He does what he knows is right, and doesn't let his feelings get in the way anymore. Ash doesn't feel like he can go back to his family, or even back to being a Jedi. He feels he has done too much bad while under the Archeri influence and is working around the galaxy as a way to redeem himself, one battlefield at a time. He tends to avoid anyone if he can now. Every now and again, a bit of his old self comes out: He is still passionate about the force and learning all he can, and teaching and helping others. His eyes light up when he sees something new or interesting. This comes as a downside as he is very haunted by the Archeri still. Flashbacks happen occasionally, which can be triggered by anything. These pass in a few moments but they bring needless suffering. Due to his childhood and what he went through, he has a fairly unique view of the force. He no longer sees it as light or dark, but rather the one who wields it turns it that way, and it simply exists naturally. He uses it as he would his own limbs, and it responds as he wishes, without anything to get in the way. He has learned to channel what he needs from it in any way he needs it to, and is thankful for it. Background Father • Unknown. Mother • Lady Valeros. Deceased Siblings • None Other Important Connections • Jedi Master Aric. Deceased. Lily Valeros - Wife (35) (Deceased) Tomo valeros - Daughter (4) (deceased) Overall History • Part I: Upbringing Ash Valeros had a rough upbringing: His mother, a human named Lady, was a homeless woman, living from shelter to shelter as well as she could. There was no father, as the man, who was a Morellian, skipped out as best as Lady knew. It was nothing pretty that anyone should go though. The planet was Kinyen, in the Republic but hard to live in if you had no idea what to do, with little help from anyone. Ash was born a healthy baby, barely crying at birth. There was one little problem, however: He was born with deformed arms. Already without a home to live in, on a planet that didn't care for them. It was as if the entire universe were out to get at him. There was but one thing that was on Ash's side: the force. Sometime between the age of one and two, Lady discovered her son could use the force. He began with rolling over a bottle or a toy to him. She was overjoyed at this, and tried to tell someone, but no one believed the crazy homeless woman. Ash wouldn't use the force on command so they were shunned. Lady continued to try however, but was never lucky. She was never around when Jedi were on the planet. Eventually, disheartened, she gave up, instead using her energy to save up money. That money she used to get a small room in a hovel outside of the Capital. Lady raised Ash here as best as she could, eventually taking over the small living area herself. Things were going fairly well, all things considered, until Ash was past the age of five. Tragedy struck the small family when a drunk man in a landspeeder struck Lady, sending her to the hospital, where she sadly passed from her wounds. In an instant, Ash was an orphan. The very next day, Jedi arrived on the planet, and Ash was finally discovered. It was a cruel twist of fate, but ultimately one to give Ash the best possible chance at life. Ash wasn't ready to start his training, however. He first had to be fitted with arms exoskeleton to help form his bones and muscle tissue correctly. And then learn how to use his newfound limbs over the force, as he has been using. It took the better part of two months before Ash could even start moving his limbs with any sort of long movement besides twitches. It was an entire new sensation he had to get use to. After he was initially fitted with new arms and began to learn how to use them was the boy able to begin training as an actual Jedi. He was slightly behind most other children but was able to get extra help when his Clan, Clan Dragon, would practice using the force or lightsaber combat, he would continue work on his arms. At the age of 8. after several sets of surgeriesfor his arms and an eternal amount of practice, Ash was finally able to begin his own training with lightsabers, joining younglings younger than him for the basics. The rest he was able to stick with for the most part. He still found himself using the force more than his own arms, out of sheer habit. Ash was struggling for the next handful of years of his life. 5 years passed and he could never quite master the dexterous movements that were required to master a lightsaber. He took to the force like a fish to water though, able to learn anything that had to do with it with little difficulty. By the age of 13, most others his age were taken as a Padawans to different knights and masters. Ash wasn't, but he still worked to better his weaknesses. Everyday he was on the training grounds, working himself to the bone for hours. One of those days he was training, a older Sephi master began to show him some different things: which didn't have to do with a lightsaber. The Sephi Master named himself as Master Aric, a former weapons master and currently an instructor. He believed that a Lightsaber was a tool, not a weapon. And that Ash was clearly not suited for using a lightsaber. In a heartbeat, Aric took the young man under his wing, and man was the next decade of Ash's life not the funnest theme park ride ever. Part II: Path to Knighthood. Master Aric, to say the least, was eccentric in in his growing years.Tough as absolute nails to be sure, but he had different beliefs when it came to training. To Aric, in order to progress forward, one must take a step back and get back to their roots. Those roots involved going to Corellia and getting lost in the wilds. They had a few knives and swords, bow and arrows, survival equipment, Aric's lightsaber, and not much else. "If you can use a bow and one of these swords, you can use a blaster and a lightsaber. We will get you all up to snuff sooner or later. Hehehe" And that was exactly what Master Aric began to do. The first few months Ash couldn't aim his arrows for shit, but that just took practice. He didn't need strength training when it came to his arms and he proved to be rather ambidextrous. Still his core and legs needed to be worked on, as those were flesh and bone. A year later, beyond Ash turning 14, and he was quite adept at using a bow and swords. With only a year he was no master, but he could easily nail most targets with little to no time to get a good aim. Aric allowed them both to head back to Coruscant to get news and to relax a little bit. Ash spent much of that time reading up on the force and simply enjoy himself in general. A few weeks later, this time with ample reading and practice material, the duo went back to Corellia for more training, but easier this time, and with more studying than just survival and out of date bows. At the age of 15, Aric brought young Ash back to Coruscant, as it was about ready for the young man to begin construction of his own lightsaber. Though Ash wasn't particularly adept at using a lightsaber and rather use heavier weapons, it was still a right of passage for all Padawans. On Coruscant, Ash fabricated his hilt. It was slightly longer, easily usable with two hands, and quite comfortable for the young man. Together, they took a shuttle to Ilum, where Aric more or less kicked Ash out and told him not to come back until he found what he needed. The older man cackled as he closed up the ship. Ash did exactly as he was told to and went off into the snowy planet. Aric wasn't all that mean, and gave Ash a map, and made sure to set down right next to a cave system. He found a nice spot of ground and began to meditate. He didn't know how long he was out before he came back to his senses, a blue crystal in his hand. Giddy and excited, Ash ran back to the ship. He learned he was down for two days, Aric said that was rather rare and was interested to see how the saber would turn out. Two weeks later, and back on Coruscant, for the first time ever, Ash ignited his very own Lightsaber, which shown with the same bright blue as his eyes. He was overjoyed at this accomplishment. Figuring they were done on Corellia for a while, after Ash had completed his lightsaber, the two went out into the Galaxy at large, ((A young Ash in the prime of his training)) Ash and Aric simply roamed the galaxy, taking missions as the Council deemed, helping others when they needed it. Occasionally they would go back to Coruscant or a nearby temple to rest and recoop but most of the time they were wanderers. At the age of 17, Ash had his first encounter with a very formidable opponent: a trio of dark jedi that were hell bent on causing as much chaos as they could on the far flung planet of Rodia. Aric took the initiative and worked to keep Ash at the rear of the fight and out of danger. The trio proved to be just a hair too overwhelming for the singular Jedi warrior. Ash couldn't stay out of the fight. He ignited his lightsaber and joined the fray, taking some heat off of his Master. It became clear that during the short conflict the lack of dexterity Ash had with his weapon was going to be a hindrance. All he had to do was hold off one of the dark jedi. Ash lost one arm and his lightsaber was bisected before Aric came to the young man's rescue. Ash also got a new scar around his right eye and cheek. On the flight back to Coruscant to get Ash all fixed up, Aric was figuring out a new training regiment for Ash. After being all fixed and healed up, Aric helped Ash fix his lightsaber, as well as gave him some courses in more advance hand to hand combat. The master was paying for new, enhancedarms for Ash so that he would be much less likely to lose one due to his lack of skill, and the combat would be extremely nessessry if he lost a weapon. As it turned out, Ash was quite good at fighting without any sort of weapon. On top of that, he began having the young man wear heavy armor around and swing around a giant sword he picked up from the armory for a giant species of alien. It was nearly as big as Ash himself, and super heavy. Luckily Ash was incredibly strong with his arms and could throw it around easily. Past the age of 18, and Ash was use to heavy armor and his sword. The armor made for some great strength training regularly and the young man had no problems when keeping up with everyday activities. Outside of his armor, he was quick, with plenty of tight muscle. His agility was insane and he could dance around and hit really hard. He didn't even feel the need to use his lightsaber anymore and really only kept it as a backup weapon. Either his insane armor and sword, or intense speed combined with his powerful fists. Being a cyborg honestly wasn't that bad. Four years passed in the blink of an eye, Ash going from 18 to 22 years old before he knew what to do with himself. He was a smart, tough night, skilled in different forms of combat and absolutely deadly with the force. At the age of 20, Aric worked to get Ash's defense up and he discovered the young man had a talent at Tutaminis, which was strange with the mildly enhanced arms Ash had. It took a while but Ash was able to take the energy produced from blasters and use it in alternative ways. During this time as well he got to know a fellow, if older, Padawan named Jaidan, who was an Echani. The Padawan gave Ash some basics in Echani martial arts training which Ash only added to his own arsenal. At the age of 22, Ash was elevated to that of a Jedi Knight. His trials were relatively simple and strait forward, as his early life was trial enough to test him and Ash certainly came out stronger for it. Part III: Knighthood Ash found life as a Jedi Knight to be... well relatively the same as when he was a Padawan, minus the little braid he had grown out. He still woke up, did his usual daily routine, then went back to sleep. A good chunk of time passed this way, maybe three or four months, before he felt he was due for a change. He found himself a nice little Padawan learner of his own. It was a young teenager full of fire and brimstone, pushing himself nearly as hard as Ash use to do. Padawan Alphonse Nito, or Al as everyone called the human. Al was very passionate about being a Jedi and force user. His history was somewhat the same as Ash's which was why the two of them were pared together. Since Ash went through all he did and became a reliable knight, he was sure to be able to keep Al on track. Unlike Ash, even though he was young, Al was proving to be quite adept at lightsaber combat, and Ash would need to work hard to even keep up with the passion the young boy had at the tool. A natural at fineness and dexterity that Ash had only achieved recently. Ash didn't mind much that young Al was great at handling his training saber. He was proud of the young Padawan, and loaned out his own original lightsaber to him. He would need it as they did the generic Jedi activity of helping to police up the Galaxy. Pretty chill work overall for the next two years. Al grew quickly, passing Ash in height after the teenager turned 15. The two of them had enjoyed time together across the galaxy, taking care of pirates and turning others from walking the side of evil. Never any dark Jedi, for which Ash was thankful. Ash didn't believe that Al, skillful as he was with a lightsaber, was close to being ready to tackle what nearly killed him when he was younger. Ash didn't even know if he himself was ready to face a threat such as a powerful Dark Jedi, or a group of them as he did in his past. With Ash being 24 and Al being 15, Ash decided to spend some time on Coruscant for Al and himself to study up on more, and to get a break from the galaxy at large. It was a peaceful time now, and honestly it was boring Ash a little. He was use to going and going that he grabbed Al, some study material, and went on back to Corellia. Thats right, Ash was deciding to go back to their ancient roots as his own master did for him. Al was completely at a loss for suddenly having to live this way, Ash still found this as the smart way to survive if they were ever cut off from civilization. Alphonse didn't take to survival quite as well as Ash did, but the young man managed to get the basics of using a bow. His basic sword skill was lacking, as he was use to the weight, or lack of, a lightsaber. It was rather humbling for this to happen to the Padawan, who was use to having a relatively modest and easy life. In a way, it was great fun and a good bonding experience for the two of them that went beyond just roaming the galaxy. Even Ash learned a lot once again, and it wasn't about combat. He spent plenty of time meditating and gaining inner strength. During one of these meditative states, Ash had a vision: It was of a planet burning, himself standing among the ruins. Stepped in darkness before him were figures, but he could not make them out. That was all Ash could make out before he came back to his body, covered in sweat, which was odd as there was snow around him. There was much training that Ash had to do, and the vision he saw scared the living hell out of him. Ash began to give himself a harder training regiment now, not just martial or greatsword training, but the force as well. He was always extremely talented and his little training went a long way to keep him up, but he felt he needed to step up his game. And that was exactly what he did. The man, while still training Al, dis his own extreme training. A full year passed before the duo left Corellia for Coruscant for a little relaxation and rest from the harsh wilds. Ash hit the books hard, studying up on anything regarding force abilities that could help him prepare for the vision he saw. Ash nearly lost himself in his research and neglected his duties to his Padawan, but an extra week past when they were supposed to be gone from Coruscant according to Ash's original plan... Well Alphonse reminded Ash about what to do. Their next trip took them all the way to Ilum, as it was time for Alphonse to make his own lightsaber. Up until this moment, he was using Ash's, as Ash fought in alternative ways other than a lightsaber, when conflict was ultimately involved. Unlike when Ash went out, the master joined the Padawan inside the crystal caves, but allowed Al to wander about to find what he was looking for. Ash merely meditated at the entrance to the caves, allowing the strong connection to flow through him. Ultimately Al found what he was looking for and they went back to Coruscant. They were there for a few weeks while Al fabricated his own green colored lightsaber. With that they went back into the galaxy at large for another year, going where the counsel wanted them too. 26 years of age, with Al 17 years old, and trouble finally struck. On the planet of Naboo, where they were staying for a month, they were attacked. The duo were out on patrol and when they were attacked by two Dark Jedi. They came out of nowhere. "Master, in the trees!" Al's cry was nearly too late, but Ash sensed the darkness and blocked the lightsaber attack with a simple punch, his arms and the force absorbing the attack, especially with his defensive powers. It should also be noted that Ash didn't have his sword with him, only his lightsaber and fists. Ash brought his saber out and began to engage the two Dark Jedi. Where he would fail with his saber, he would engage in even closer combat, throat chopping one of his opponents before smashing his jaw with a hard boot to the face. After the first one fell, several more stormed out of the wood works. Hell, it must have been a camp of these pricks that the duo accidentally stumbled upon. Taking a strong grip on the force, Ash grabbed hold of Al and tossed him out of the line of fire, telling the Padawan to run and get support. He trusted that the young man would land on his feet. Ash didn't know how much time passed, just that there was a whirlwind of action and body pieces. He used his lightsaber as much as he did the rest of his body, one singular weapon against a flood of darkside users. When it was all said and done, the Dark Jedi were all dead, but he himself was a broken, mangled body, nearly a corps being held together by sheer force of will and the force. He sent out a burst of the force, calling for Al to get him help before darkness enfolded him. This darkness scared Ash, as he was surrounded by pain and monsters. Huge, multi-limbed somethings were constantly around. A world burning provided the only light. Others, clearly human or humanoid, were fighting each other, but it wasn't the same as a regular army against army. Over and over dark, fiery images danced around Ash's mind, until finally there was warmth. Sunshine and blue skies. Clean crisp mountain air seemed to flow all around Ash, filling him completely with joy and happiness. His eyes opened to see the glass wall of a bacta tank, a mask covering his face to allow him to breath. Looking down, he could barely make out his body and could hardly feel anything He knew all his limbs were there and he was there, and that was fine. The man closed his eyes and drifted back into a healing trance. A week later, and Ash was finally removed from the tank. He was still very sore and in pain and would require a bit of therapy To get back to his old self but he would live. Al was perfectly fine, thankfully. He broke an arm when he hit the ground, going as fast as Ash threw him but he was healed up just fine and extremely thankful for Ash. He also told his master that Ash had been out cold and under for nearly 6 months. Ash nodded, figured it was something like that after they described how he was picked up and the procedures that was done to ensure his survival. The next year went by both slow and fast at the same time, if that was possible. Plenty of physical therapy and studying and training to keep him busy, and some minor surgeries to his arms. At 28 years of age, more or less fully healed. Ash and Al were sent to Dantooine as a permanent station. Ash was to become the head non-lightsaber instructor, as well as a supplementary instructor in the ways of the force. Al was to assist, as well as help out with the peace keeping of the planet itself. It wasn't the prettiest of work for Al, but it was good training for the young Jedi. Being a Jedi didn't always mean endless conflict when they were galactic peace keepers. 29 years of age, and the knowledge and skill with the force swelled to a new peak. He discovered it on accident while doing some solo training away from the temple. He was able to channel the force through his body and hold it in his at least his arms and fists. It became so full that it came off as a sort of aura of pure force energy, usually a light blue in color. It took some time to generate, but it could be done even while fighting. Ash learned how to use this force energy in several ways directly: send it out like a forward cone wave, a beam of energy, or just hit something really hard with explosive results. He found he could transfer it into his sword as well in much the same ways. At least for a small while before the force overloaded his favored weapon and it shattered. Ash was gone for over a month working to perfect this ability, but even when he returned to the temple, he knew he was far from having it perfected. Still it was a nice ace up his sleeve to have if he ever was in a serious conflict with strong opponents. At the age of 29, Ash and Al returned to to Coruscant, because a special day as coming up: It was time for Alphonse to take the trials and become a knight. For a month Al studied hard and prepped himself for the trials. Ash took the time to catch up on activities within the core. A month later and Al took his trials. Ash was only a distant witness to this, but the end result was the best one: young Alphonse became a full fledged Jedi Knight. After the trials, Ash greeted his former Padawan as such, as brothers in arms rather than master and student. Ash went back to Dantooine after Al's trials and resumes his teaching. Things were pretty smooth until he was 30 and began to have the same recurring, fiery nightmare once again. It was only once a blue moon, but it happened. Talking to others, he found one who use to be a weapons smith way back in history. Apparently good at handling bladed weapons. He was an older human, now living here as a fabricator with his son, but he said that if Ash could find the materials, he could make a better, stronger sword. In addition, a new set of armor. In his visions and dreams, Ash looked older, so he imagined he had time, and began to research materials rather than jumping headlong into what could be a mistake. As well as his research in this, Ash continued his teaching here, mostly martial arts once again, paired with a older Echani. The two worked well and even Ash learned much. Master Hitotai was an excellent teacher, and though Ash thought he was good at martial arts, the Master whopped his ass constantly. It took Ash a full year until he could even stand up to the master, and he bet this was due to Master Hitotai being over the age hump. Well, when Ash wasn't pulling his punches at least. Part IV: A Change in Destiny At the age of 31, Ash was officially a Jedi Master, having brought a Padawan up to the rank of a Knight, as well as go through his own constant trials though his life. It was a small ceremony on Dantooine, where even Alphone made an appearance to congratulate his former Master. Ash was extremely overjoyed at this, and gave a small speech of his early history, growing up, and how it made him as a man. Once again, life failed to change that much. He still did his same routine, day after day. It was to be expected that he would begin to grow bored of it. He went out and around the planet sometimes, helping others or taking care of beasts that were threatening people. Occasionally there were pirates that threatened some farmers but again nothing too stressful to deal with. (Ash, as a master and as a civilian on Dantooine) Research on materials paid off for Ash around this time, and he stumbled across mentions of Matrix Armor, which was and had use to be constructed into starship armor, as well as personal armor. The Jedi began to look into it, and found some good materials. It would be a little heavier but it would all be easy for Ash to manage. Soon enough, his fabricator friend began to work on blueprints for a new massive sword, as well as some armor, both of which would have a phrik weave to them. It would be a long while before it would be perfect and usable, but Ash was a patient man. At the age of 32, after resuming his normal life at the Dantooine temple, Ash bumped into a young woman, maybe 7 to 10 years younger than him. Lily Mich'elin, a young cat Bystkyn, rare around these parts of the Galaxy. She helped her family out as a rancher, providing food, milk, and meat primarily to the temple. In fact, her family owned a large ranch about 100km outside of the temple where hey had all their animals. Ash was struck dumb by her, easily love at first sight, but Lily didn't feel the same. Ash knew this and felt silly for how he was feeling, but there was something about this hard working young woman that opened something new in him. She was this oddity; something that wasn't normally found and outside the norm and it attracted Ash. He became friends with her, helping her move stuff when she came to drop off supplies for them. Lily also began to spend more time around the temple. Other Jedi could see something was going on, or could potentially turn that way, and even Ash did as well. True to him being a Jedi, he decided to leave Dantooine, returning to Coruscant and becoming an instructor there. Being in one place like this caused him to wander and his thoughts to constantly turn back to the young Bystkyn he met. Changing again, he went out into the Galaxy, patrolling as the counsel would have. He decided to fly solo rather than train up another Padawan. It was a good distraction, but it wasn't enough still. Ash found himself eventually going back to Dantooine for one reason or another. At the age of 34, Ash returned to Coruscant. The past year he kept in contact with Lily and realized he couldn't keep away from his feelings. It wasn't the Jedi way, and he felt bad, but his fews on the force and actions have always been a little different. The past two years have shifted his views any further and he felt, in order to grow beyond now, a shift had to happen. He turned in his lightsaber to the Jedi Counsel. He gave his plans, his reasoning behind him leaving and of course the Counsel were saddened to see the man leave, Ash couldn't run away. This was the next step to his growth as a man and with the force. Ash returned to Dantooine for one last time, returning to Lily, and the two became an official couple. A year later and the two of them were husband and wife. 35 years of age and Ash had left the order and became a ranch hand at the growing Mich'elin Ranch. In fact, he was on track to inherit the Ranch one day... if he could wrap his head around how ranching worked fully. He knew how to survive, but this was an entire new ball game. Before his marriage to Lily, Ash went on a run and stumbled across some a crystal cave system, which looked like it hadn't been seen any traffic in years. Humanoid traffic that is. There was a kinrath nest. Deep inside she found the deposits of lightsaber crystals. He had no idea if he would ever get a chance to see any crystals again. Letting the force guide him, the former Jedi was drawn to two crystals. One was a silver one, and the second, which happened to be too large initially for any sort of lightsaber, was red. There was more but this was all he felt drawn too, and left. Ash took the red crystal back to his fabricator friend, who Ash wanted to inset it into the half finished sword. That same sword, black and steel in coloration, with the red gemstone set in near the hilt, was gifted on his wedding day. The crystal seemed to glow whenever the sword was wielded by Ash, but otherwise was dormant inside its chamber. A second unique part of this sword was when Ash channeled his energy into it, instead of having a blue aura, it came off as purple, and seemed to be channeled though the crystal somehow before the rest of the weapon. Overall much more stable than his former sword. The silver crystal he used in a new lightsaber he had been fabricating. A few months after Ash and Lily were married, the Sith attacked Dantooine. His new family escaped, with Ash helping them and others, get off the planet before they were trapped. He was saddened he could not help the Jedi and defense but he had new duties to perform. Ash and family moved to Corellia now, deep in the safety of the core worlds. His family started up a new ranch, mainly Nerf's and did their part for the war effort. Ash wasn't one to sit idly and joined a mercenary company. It wasn't much but the danger pay was good. They were a supplement to Republic forces, but avoided the main combat unless it was a quick firefight. They welcomed the former Jedi and he was a leader, making extra money which he sent back to his family. After the battle of Taris, he quit the company, moving back to Corellia with his family. They remained there until After the battle of Coruscant. When he was 39 years of age, he and Lily had a daughter together, who took after her mother much more than she did of Ash. Little Tomo Valeros. She was spunky even as an infant, growing up quickly and afraid of nothing. Two years later, the at the age of 41, The treaty of Coruscant was signed, bringing an era of peace to the galaxy, even if it seemed only temporary. He and his family worked the Ranch on Corellia now, going camping where he use to often train in his younger years, and just having a great life. Just shy of turning 43, on their anniversary, Ash and Lily left to Teth to go on vacation and celebrate their anniversary. It would only be for a week, but it would be well worth it. On the third day, the planet fell under attack by some alien species, and it didn't sit right with Ash. He made his wife escape on their ship before they were trapped, and he stayed behind to help fight them off. It wasn't a fight as it turned out he was perfectly attuned to these Archeri. He became their puppet. Ash took a shuttle back to his home, more or less cutting ties hard with everyone there, against his will of course, and left his family. He only took his sword and new set of armor, and left his wife. For the duration of the war, he fought with the Archeri as an infiltrator unit, collecting information and killing people before escaping. His force energy ability made cleaning up easy. Finally at the Battle of Nar Shaddaa was he known to be an enemy spy, and crushed many soldiers under his sword. (Ash during the battle of Nar Shaddaa) After the battle, and his link was broken, Ash refused to go back home or to meet anyone he knew. He did too much evil and he just wanted to make it up by taking out the crazies who supported the Archeri in any way, or who used the chaos of the war to profit from it. He was a dark knight. An avenger out to make some small part of the galaxy safer and healthier. He would do so alone until his death, as everyone thought he perished already. After a short amount of time, he did venture home, finding it closed up and condemned. He later found out his family was working to help refugees and the ship they were on were attacked and destroyed with all hands. Using those emotions, he vowed to help all those he could through any ways possible, even if it meant potentially going back to the Jedi. |
