He is tall and in shape, still choosing to wear his armored jedi robes over any other type of clothing. He has a scar on his right eyebrow and one on his upper lip. He also has a tattoo of an Ingzan Blood Eagle on his right arm. Personality Profile Arley is an outgoing and kind man, treating those he meets with respect. He has a vulnerability to him, Arley is a sensitive man, he doesn't trust people easily, this can make it hard to form lasting friendships, as he tends to distance himself. He genuinely likes people and interacting with them, as a jovial and happy person. Though he is these things and has a certain magnetic charm, he doesn't open up easily and can be described as secretive and guards his emotions closely, as his trust is hard to gain. He doesn't allow people to see what is bothering (or) what bothers him or what is going on in his mind. When wronged it is easy for him to grow resentful, and while he isn't hateful, he doesn't easily forgive. He is an extremely passionate person, who has strong beliefs and morals, he believes in helping the less fortunate and showing courage and doing his best to show self-control in tough situations, but this passion can blind and cloud his judgment at times. It doesn't help that he is quite stubborn on top of that. His mother worked at a Cantina, and his father was a smuggler. His mother gave him away to give him a life of meaning, and one that she couldn’t offer him. As was customary at the time, he was taken as an infant to the Jedi Temple to be trained. At thirteen years old, he was picked to become a Padawan by a man named Jarek Solas. Arley excelled early on in Lightsaber combat, and Force powers that amplified his physical prowess. The boy had a harder time with regular non aggressive Force powers, though his thirst for knowledge and excellence pushed him to learn how to be better. The boy also has an affinity for other languages. Jarek became impressed with his apprentice’s ability to learn quickly. He also listened to what his master had to teach him, so they got along well, their bond was strong, he was like a Father to Arley. Arley grew up in a time of great strife, the Galaxy was in turmoil. War raged across the galaxy and as he grew into a Jedi, him and his master had been sent on missions to fight the Sith, furthering his combat and tactical experience. The Quiet War was hard on him emotionally, all the death and destruction took its toll, though his teachings taught him how to cope. While in the frontlines Jarek was hit by an explosion, injured by shrapnel, Arley drug his master to his ship narrowly escaping death himself. His master wasn’t so lucky, Jarek succumbed to his wounds aboard the ship, leaving Arley alone and masterless. Arley fled to a remote planet and buried his master properly. Since then, Arley has disassociated himself from the Jedi Order and the Republic. Tired fighting their wars he now is forging his own path in the universe. |
