He works out regularly and likes to keep in shape. He has longer, curly hair and a neatly groomed beard. His beard is going grey faster than his hair, which is just now showing signs of it. His skin is lightly tanned, showing that Seb enjoys to get sunlight whenever he can. He has a tattoo of the CEC emblem on his left shoulder, and various tattoos running down his right arm to nearly his wrist. For clothing, Sebastian is usually in his Admiral’s uniform, neatly pressed and crisp as one would expect him to be in. When not on duty, however, he is much more rough looking, well worn clothing in darker clothing. He likes to feel comfortable whenever he can be, and there has been more than one occasion he was commanding out of his uniform when there has been an emergency. Personality Profile Sebastian is a fairly blunt and strait forward man. He speaks his mind and makes his thoughts known to those who have his attention. He his also generally easygoing, taking about everything in stride and working his way around problems. His mind is almost always thinking nonstop, so he gets bored easily unless he is working on a complicated problem or in a tactical situation. Sebastian has a love for cigars, and half the time he is either smoking one, or chewing on the end of one. It is a habit he falls into as well when working out a problem. For activities outside of work, he likes to run and do most things involving cardio. He is also a weapon collector and likes to go to the range and hone his blaster skills. Pilot in Republic Navy Overall History • Sebastian was born on Corellia, and was very lucky to be in one of the prominent families currently in CEC. Unfortunately, he wasn't the firstborn child of the Terrik family line. That went to his older brother, who had a better mind for business. Growing up, Seb had a better mind for formulating ideas and solutions, and he didn't have any worries with being the second child. It allowed him somewhat more freedom with life and it drew him to a proper school. He was smart as a kid, graduating early from elementary and middle school. Come high school, however, he grew lazy and began to slack off somewhat on his work. He still somehow made it through with a very high grade average. About halfway through school he began to study history on the Republic and old tactics used during wars, drawing him away from his previous path as a starship designer and more towards that of a more military minded individual. After graduation and a little more schooling, Sebastian was brought into the Republic Navy, getting stationed as a bridge officer on a system defense corvette. 20 year olds as any sort of bridge officer was doing well in life. After a few years here, fending off some minor pirate raids, Seb as transferred to a light cruiser. The cruiser Lebles may have been older and worn out, but she was strong. 26 years of age and Sebastian was the third in command and in charge of weapons on the ship, seeing as it was a cruiser brought out of Corellia. It was very interesting to be serving on part of his family's heritage. As for his family holdings over Corellian Engineering Corporation, he was offered by his father and brother part of the major shares in the ship building company but Seb denied them, saying he would rather make full use of them on the front lines, and to make sure that everything was as it should be. Instead he was written into the wills of his father and brother and given token shares due to his family lineage. Seb was more than content in working in the Republic Navy. For a year, the Lebles served as part of a picket line around Aridus, tracking Pirates and other raiders who weren't suppose to be around the area. Unfortunately, the fleet was constantly under attack, but not quite enough to get extra help, as the attacks were mostly embarrassments. One such attack was focused on them while the were running security for a small transport fleet gong through the area. Pirates attacked while Seb was off duty, hitting the bridge and killing all those there. Thinking quickly, Sebastian went to the backup bridge, taking control of the cruiser from there, and getting the small fleet in line to fend off the attack. It worked, and Sebastian was recognized for his efforts and was promoted from a Lieutenant Commander to Captain, put in command of a newer Corellian cruiser Quentin. The next few years saw Sebastian gain more and more influence as his abilities were tested, and he had more put under him, from small picket fleets to, at the age of 34, he was given command of a Battleship, the leading captain in a fleet. During this time, he was on his way to Dantooine to take up position before the war broke out over the planet. He was directed towards the core regions as a defense force. As the war heated up, Sebastian was given a promotion to Admiral. He played second fiddle in the defense of the core worlds, but his tactics helped keep the Sith from more vital secondary targets. He grew to hate the Sith for what they have brought to the galaxy. He hid his hate though, channeling it into productive means. After the close of the war and the start of the Cold War, Sebastian decided to use his rank and knowledge in tactics to bring a new fleet to the front. The 7th Republic Fleet, his baby, meant for fast deployment and rapid attacks anywhere it was needed. Of course, with the Republic being the bureaucratic state that it was, he worked with several other admirals and the chief of staff of the Republic, all major players in the high ranking Republic military to ensure that everything flowed right and it wasn't just a mess of combat ships. It took time to get it right but with the near entirety of the Republic, the 7th Fleet was up and running. He had goals at being a Grand Admiral in charge of the Navy and hopes that this will to well for it. |
