Languages • Basic, Farghul Assets • Breela carries two diskblades made of durasteel woven with Cortosis, a small leather pouch/bag flung over her back, a utility belt with spots for various grenades and a holster for a blaster, and a cloak/robe combination which covers the majority of her body and has a hood. The cloak is a dark green. Appearance Height & Weight • 6'0, 155 lbs Overall Looks • Somewhat small for her race, Bree is a lithe, muscular, fit Farghul who has distinctive dark brown fur and a somewhat long tail with a white puff at the end. She has long claws and fangs similar to a tiger, and has distinctive face markings on each side of her face that somewhat look like claw marks. Usually dressed for convenience and efficiency, she wears light armor which is little more than a vest and shorts combination reinforced with durasteel (or insert metal here) over which she wears a dark, natural green robe with a hood that covers her entire body. She doesn't care much for fashion, having grown up without that luxury. Personality Profile Bree is generally a calm and composed individual with strong leadership, but one who prefers to keep to herself and let others do the talking. Incredibly wise, she is often the one to take hold of a conversation and steer it back to where it needs to be. She is incredibly slow to anger, but will explode when she gets there - whether silently or loudly. She's an empathetic individual who wants to make Yanibar a better place, if not the galaxy. The only thing she values more than saving someone else is saving herself, but she has yet to run into this problem so far. Mischevious and playful to her friends, you often don't realize she's playing a joke on you until you see her sly smile, in contrast to her usually stoic expression. Background Father • Akash, 230 (deceased), Jedi Mother • Ke'this, 220 (deceased), Jedi Other Important Connections • Janus Solari, 44, Zeison Sha Warrior, student of Breela while growing up on Yanibar. Overall History • Bree grew up in the harsh climate of Yanibar, her parents being some of the first colonialists that were stranded. They did not last long, and Bree frequently was responsible for hunting and gathering thanks to her species advantages over being human. She had learned the basics from her parents, over the 30~ years they had been with her, but she was still very much a child. Honing her hunting skills became something she did every day. For the first portion of her life, rest was not something she got much of. No matter how hard she tried, she watched her friends, their children, and even their children's children die to the harsh climate. Her parents had believed in the Jedi until the last breath they drew, but Bree was not one of the Zeison Sha who had hope that the Jedi would come. She burned with anger and bitterness over theirs, and the others deaths. Eventually the city and temple were established and things became much easier. No longer did Bree have to hunt each day, food could be stored, technology, while limited, could be created. The spaceport and discovery were a blessing, and Bree learned what she had always known - the Jedi were not coming. They did not care about those that had been left behind. Stories of child napping were brought back to the temple, and Bree was further disgusted by the Jedi. She had begun to raise the next generation of ZS, students who were eager and determined. She focused primarily on survival, teaching each student how to live off the land, prevent frostbite and use their force powers to move objects, clear debris, and of course, use the discblade. While not known as a show off, Bree had honed her discblade skills to a fine art, her accuracy and control over telekinesis was nothing to balk at. There was one thing, however, that she refused to teach. Her parents had taught her how to use pyrokinesis as a means of staying warm, sparking a wood fire, gently coaxing a flame to grow larger - and Bree had furthered and developed those talents over a human's lifespan, to the point of being able create and control great swathes of fire. She never used this talent in front of others, and rarely used it at all, preferring less dangerous methods of creating and harnessing flame. After teaching several generations of students, she felt that her skills were being wasted - while she loved teaching the children and had a soft spot for them, she wanted to improve Yanibar even further and make it more hospitable. She left Yanibar, hopping from ship to ship, always keeping her identity hidden as she helped those in need, and learned more about the galaxy that they had been isolated from. The more she learned the more she was convinced that their way of isolation was for the best, with seemingly needless violence happening at all times. She was horrified to learn of the criminal underworld, and spent much of her time freeing slaves. She was always on the lookout for force sensitive children or teenagers, and even adults who seemed like they would be of use to her mission. She also wished to gather those proficient in building, terraforming, and technology in general. She made few friends, preferring to keep to herself, but always helped those in need and as a result was gifted with the opportunity to have her weapons and armor reinforced several times by those she had saved. She never refused a gift or present, and as a result grew to have a modest living, though she rarely needed to spend anything, preferring to mostly hunt and catch her own food, and occasionally returning to Yanibar to restock, drop off those she had found, and give news to her people. Her people did not always like the fact that she brought outsiders with her, but she always made them see that these people could be useful, and with the resources she brought each time the elders mostly put up with her - she was, after all, a distinguished and wise leader among the Zeison Sha. |
