Noa was reading, but his mind was wandering too much to concentrate - he had read the same sentence four times now – . He had been told that a master had requested him. The name of jedi that had made the application was Torran Do, and when Noa had looked his name up in the archives he was quite impressed. Of course a lot of information was inaccessible, but that much was to be expected from a jedi knight of Do’s importance and power. It seemed that he excelled in Juyo; Noa knew that it was a very destructive lightsaber form from hearsay – one worthy of respect; he had never witnessed it in person though.
The young Gossam put away the datapad and walked down the stairs of the Jedi Temple’s hall – here he would meet his new master in a few minutes. The hall was quite busy and the hum of many voices and the sound of yet even more footsteps filled the room; all of it being amplified by the acoustics of the high ceiling. Many robed figures entered, walked/slid/swooped across the hall and would eventually turn into one of the many corridors or side rooms or go up the stairs. Groups of younglings followed their teachers; padawans their masters; masters their feelings. Noa stood amid all this activity, waiting for his master. Master Do could arrive at any moment now. He came from an off-world mission and would drop by the academy to meet the padawan he might be interested in.
