HOWEVER. That was a Game. He's the Main character. Therefore, things are going to be tilted in his Favor. That's just how it rolls.

Sideous is actually confirmed to be the strongest Sith, by a data book or novel or something "The most powerful Sith Lord in history".

Plus his abilities are > any others. Destroying fleets of star cruisers with one attack and teleporting people across the galaxy is > nudging a moon.

Well according to New Essential Chronology by Dan Wallace on page 84 the first paragraph the following is said:

"Obi Wan Kenobi and Yoda were the only Jedi left in a position to do something about the disaster. Yoda went after Palpatine in the empty Senate chamber, but could not defeat the most powerful Sith Lord in history."

This book is not a RPG guide book. It is an official book for the purpose of charting the Star Wars universe thus far. It has LFL's official stamp and its pretty much law. It is also very new being issued out in late 2005.

And it goes without saying that Luke "I can manipulate black holes and move my hands so fast it looks like I'm wielding 20 lightsabers at once" Skywalker is the strongest force user, ever. Point blank.

Luke's the blasted main character of the Series, why it was invented, Of course he's strong. But if you look at a lot of his so-Called Accomplishments, you'll realize he's not that good.

1: Killing Palpatine
Right. Good start there. Let's see....Hmmm, wait, Darth Vader killed palpatine, not Luke. He was too Busy Crying as his Friends died at the hands of the Sith Lord, And Fighting his Father (And Really? REALLY? he was doing rather poorly.)

2: Killing the Leader of the Yuuzhan vong
(Can't remember his name, don't care)
Three words, Jaina and Jacen.

Without the help of those two, he never would have been able to beat....SHIMRA (or something like that) Who was merely a puppet, a Figurehead of Omini, The Misshapen Force-using Vong. they provided Cover, Backup, the World Brain provided distractions and Jacen provided a Second Lightsaber, Yes? Really? REALLY?

3: Defeating the Ghost of Exar Kun

That was his Students ganging up with him and helping...a LOT.


Luke's never been able to do anything without help from a million underlings or side characters. He's over-hyped and Annoyingly Self-important.

And thanks, but near the middle of The Unifying Force by Timothy Zhan, Luke admitted to Han that Kyp was probably stronger then him and would be well suited to teach someone if he could calm down

You're not in a position of power, by that I mean you can't actually affect my experience on this site, and your knowledge of the subject matter is inferior to mine. You're hardly in a position to make any demands.

You forgot the part where he was moving his hands so fast that those same jedi thought he was using not one, but twenty lightsabers. Do you know how fast you have to be moving your arms in order for it to look you have twenty? Oh yeah, he was also poisoned and had fought his way through an army prior to that fight.

But, Kyp hasn't done better. In fact, Luke killed more then five slayers by himself, while Kyp couldn't beat one Slayer, that was INFECTED BY ALPHA RED, a poison that KILLS Vong.

Right... Luke kills multiple Kyp fails to kill one. Moving along. Read more EU.

Really? I wasn't aware moving so fast that he becomes "invisible" to the naked eye, moving his hands so fast he looks like he has twenty lightsabers, manipulating black holes, making planets invisible, cutting his way through an army of Vong, creating an entire fleet using illusions, walking on lava, dismantling an entire CASTLE using just the force, creating his own version of force lightning and killing a slayer in one blast with it, deflecting a blast from an AT-AT by channeling the force through his lightsaber, and becoming one with the force to the point where "not even the black hole at the center of the galaxy" could faze him, are all things that he did "with help from a million underlings or side characters".

But oh wait, there's more. And I'd suggest reading more EU, if I haven't told you before.

Prove it. I have the book right here and I don't rememebr that. Page number, please.

However for the sake of argument, lets say you're right?

It means nothing. Luke is a fallible third-party character. He's not the narrator, has no out-of-universe influence. In addition, he's also incredibly naive and very humble. Thus anything Luke himself says is hardly factual proof. Han makes a comment in the movies about there being "thousands" of Imperial forces, but we know that there were actually, factually, more then millions. Fallible in-universe quotes are meaningless. The only thing that can be used are facts. Facts such as quotes from the narrator, the guides and encyclopedias, and feats. Abilities, events.

Luke has canonically stated to have the highest mitichlorian count minus Anakin, being the son of the chosen one that makes sense. Thus, Luke has the highest force potential out of any other characters in the mythos except for, I guess, other Skywalkers. So even if you were to back peddle now and claim that Kyp at least had the potential to be better, you'd still be wrong.

FACT.

Luke has displayed abilities and an attunement to the force that dwarfs anything Kyp has EVER done.

FACT.

Thus, Luke is the strongest force user in the mythos.

FACT.

I'll give you one thing, though. he's a self-righteous cretin. He's a boring character who's so overpowered that he's better suited for a Dragon Ball Z cartoon. His naivety has resulted in the deaths of multiple people and I, personally, will never forgive him for not killing Jacen in seconds when he had the chance. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

What they say doesn't matter. Lucas himself has stated that Anakin is the chosen one.
