Hey just something after doin some reaserch that id like to point out. First of the Vaadap style was constructed from Mace windu and another jedi master *forget atm* It is said that they were the only ones to actually master the style let alone create it. Also for jedi and sith would it make sense for the player to describe their saber? type of crystal used *synthetic or real* would make a difference since, though rare, a synthetic crystal could short out a regular lightsaber.
There are also different versions of the single hilt saber, exp. saberstaff *Darth Nihl from the later series* and a variety of other saber variants.
Just thoughts

Yea, we just call it Juyo, we'll remove the second bit at some point.
Also, they are just the ones we have decided to accept, there are too many complexities if we start going into things such as lightwhips and other sabers such as those similar to tonfas and nun chucks.

and it was very very rare for a jedi to use anything other than a standard lightsaber. Not many jedi used a double bladed saber.

Isn't "Real Life Fiction" something of an oxymoron?

Yeah, Vaapad did not get created until about 20-30 years before the clone wars(?). The jedi master that helped Windu create it was Sora Bulq, who fell to the dark side due to the requirements of the form. Actually, there was one other than the original two that mastered the form: Adi Gallia. Adi Gallia fell to the dark side and was actually stuck in a coma at the Jedi temple while Darth Vader and the 501st legion killed off the Jedi there. It is not known if she is dead or alive.

Almost right there. Depa Billaba was the other person who learned Vapaad and fell to the dark side. She was leading a resistance movement during the clone wars on Mace Windu's home planet. She fell and Mace went to get her, long story short (the story's actual name was Shatterpoint), Depa falls into a comma and stays in the temple.
Adi Gallia was the girl with the redish orange lightsaber from the Phantom Menace GameBoy Advanced game.

Adi Gallia was on the jedi council, she fell to the darkside but returned, which is why her lightsaber is red. As a reminder, or simply because she did not wish to build a new one.

Sorry about putting Vapaad on the new Applications when I wrote them up. I wasn't paying enough attention it seems. >.<

Isn't "Real Life Fiction" something of an oxymoron? Lol, true. But I think he's comparing fiction in games, like totally fictional characters being portrayed by no one, to fiction us people share and play out in real life.
