Name: Malus Aeron

Appearance: Reddish Brown Hair; Silvery Blue Eyes; Average Build; Prosthetic Left Arm and Right Leg.
Birth place: Corellia, Cornet

Bio:
Malus was born into a pretty standard family on Cornet, his father being a rather well known merchant and his mother was a politician. The rather well off couple never intended to have a child, and as such Malus was brought into the world with parents who didn’t have the proper time to care for him.
Mostly being raised by the several servants that the Aeron family had, Malus was brought up as a kind person. It was this kind nature that lead to an event which scarred Malus both physically and mentally for life.
When Malus was 5, he had been given the chance to go explore outside the city with one of the servants. Naturally, the 5 year old boy was curious as to the outside world and highly excitable, and of course he didn’t know any better when it came to wild animals. It was then he found a young sand panther, probably separated from its mother, barely being able to stand. Ignoring the protests of his overseer, Malus raced over to see what ailed the poor beast. He found what appeared to be a crystalline thorn in its paw, and tenderly removed it.
Everything was going smoothly, until the mother showed up. The sand panther, being the instinctive creature’s they are, attacked Malus the moment she was in range. Four deep gashes tore across his right leg and left arm, the poison from the claws spreading quickly throughout the limbs. The servant accompanying Malus immediately took the child and raced as fast as possible back to Cornet.
Whilst the poison wasn’t likely to kill him, it would deter any possibility of using the affected limbs. His parents’, being as wealthy as they were, paid for prosthetic limbs to replace the dead ones. Malus, not being one to let a ‘disability’ get him down, started going through the post-prosthetic therapy, and within months he was fitter then most children twice his age on Corellia.
It was just before his sixth birthday that a passing Jedi sensed his Force-sensitivity, when the young boy helped the Jedi find her way through the crowded Cornet markets. The Twi’lek Jedi Master informed Malus’ parents’ that he would be taken to Coruscant for training.
By the time Malus was 6, he had opened his link to the force and had caught up to the students who had started earlier than he did. He was one of the few Initiates who could sit still long enough to meditate, which he rather enjoyed. His prosthetic arm and leg gave him a slight advantage in the melee training, but he fit in with the other initiates despite.
At the age of twenty-one, Malus entered the trials in order to become a full fledged Jedi Knight. His achievements in his short time at the temple and the missions he had been on had warranted the knighting.
With his knighthood came the chance to further delve into the Lightsaber forms, and one that grabbed his interest was a sub form of Niman, which involved holding the Lightsaber in a reverse grip. With his training in this form, Malus started to also further his reaches into the Force, developing new and stronger powers than before.
As Malus grew, it was obvious he had gained his mother’s ability for negotiation, easily able to talk his way out of a situation, despite being able to proficiently utilize the Force or his Lightsaber in order to fight his way out. It was these skills that led to his studies of the more specialized Jedi ranks. The one that caught his eye seemed to suit him perfectly. The Jedi Sentinel was balanced between their knowledge of the Force and their skills in combat.
It was with this overall skill when he faced his first Dark Jedi at the age of 25. He was on a mission to investigate an abandoned space station when he met with a dark force user, who was apparently scavenging parts from the space station. As the pair dueled, Malus was able to extract information from him. Apparently, the force user was originally a member of the Jedi Order, but felt they were ‘holding him back’ by not letting him use his emotions. In a way, Malus could understand where he was coming from, but as he had sworn an oath to the Jedi Order, he detained the fallen Jedi, using his exceptional skills, and managed to turn him back to the light using both gentle persuasion and a few subtle mind tricks.
Despite all his training, Malus was no where near mastering either his Lightsaber skills or the Force, but his skills as a negotiator were renowned throughout the temple. Despite being able to settle a dispute without resorting to violence, Malus is also known for his skills in ‘aggressive negotiations’. Despite being a knight for several years, he still has yet to take on a Padawan.

“Aggressive negotiations! It’s always aggressive negotiations! Just once, I would like a mission that involves sitting down, drinking tea and talking!”
Malus let out a huff as he finished ranting. Whipping his Lightsaber from its place on his utility belt, a small smiled teased across his features as the familiar snap-hiss sounded.
The Jedi Sentinel shifted his position into the opening stance for Soresu, “I hope this works…”
Sliding in and out of the guards trying to attack him, Malus deflected a few bolts of laser fire into a near by tree. Using this to his advantage, the Jedi jumped towards the tree. As he got closer, Malus threw his hand out, palming the air and not a moment later, the tree collapsed into a great big river. He corkscrewed in midair and deflected a few more laser bolts before he landed on the tree-turned-raft, and bowed to the bunch of clansmen shooting at him.
He turned back around, and found out why they didn’t follow him. “Oh sith-spit!” Just ahead was a bunch of white-water rapids, which was followed by a waterfall. Swearing in every language he knew, Malus turned and started running along the length of the downed tree.
‘Please work, please work, please work!’ Malus chanted as he launched himself off the end of the tree, using the Force to enhance the jump across to the other side of the river. As he reached his peak height, he grinned and then started to swear as he fell towards the water.
“Aww hell!”
Twisting so his head was facing the water, he palmed the air beneath him, and Force Pushed off the water so he could side flip over to the riverbed. Grinning when he felt earth beneath his feet, the Jedi collapsed and started laughing.
“Nothing like a good workout.”
