Race: Half-Kiffar
Age: 29

Birth place: Dantooine
Faction: Jedi

Prologue Bio: Zeale's Human mother hailed from Corellia and had moved to Dantooine to pursue a more free life of a farmer. It was there that her mother ran into Zeale's father, a Kiffar Padawan. The two had a relationship that the father knew was forbidden. Still the two pushed forward, but eventually Zeale's mother was found to be pregnant unexpectedly. The father panicked not wanting to be discovered for this union and gave Zeale's mother money to escape from Dantooine. The Kiffar himself fled to Telos where he continued to serve as a Jedi. Zeale's mother, not completely understanding the situation used the money to improve her life and profits on Dantooine as she awaited her baby. Seeing as how her mother didn't know the traditions of the Kiffar Zeale never had the tattoos properly applied to her face as was custom to Kiffar tradition. When Zeale was born nothing seemed to happen and Zeale's mother, while not hating her unofficial husband, did nothing about the situation.
When Zeale was two years old her mother began seeing more and more Jedi appearing at her door. Some to inquire about young Zeale's origins while others came for the common task of asking if Zeale's mother would allow her child to become a Jedi when the time was right. Finally Zeale's mother understood what the father of the child ran away for. Respecting his unsaid wish not to be found out for this she used her remaining profits to flee from Dantooine, travel to Nar Shadaa, and start life anew.
Now five years old Zeale was a child on Nar Shadaa and her mother was becoming ill from her inability to cope with the vast difference Nar Shadaa was to Dantooine. Unfortunately she didn't have enough money yet to escape the fumes and busy life of Nar Shadaa yet. One day, Zeale's mother would be approached by a Jedi. She knew what the man wanted so she agreed to let Zeale go to the academy on Coruscant and become a great Jedi, one better than her father she hoped.
A whole 12 years had passed since Zeale had arrived in the Academy and she had become a promising Padawan with her master, Xavier Kay, a young Jedi Knight, teaching her. It was almost time for her to become a full-fledged Jedi when they sent her on an assignment to Bespin to discover an illegal operation that was in the works there. Now to Zeale, Xavier, not Master Kay, was a very close friend and Zeale had feelings for the Knight that he was unaware of, but it would be a secret that would almost push the young Padawan over the edge. When they arrived at the location on Bespin they began their investigation only to discover that it was a factory that was illegally churning out droids that were able to wield “lightswords” as Xavier deemed it. The weapons were nothing compared to a lightsaber therefore they did not receive the honor of being called as such. Rather than call for backup Zeale managed to persuade Xavier into handling the problem with just the two of them. Forcing their way through a battalion of droids and mercenaries the two saber wielders made their way to the assembly lines successfully, but this was the heart of the operation and they quickly found themselves vastly outnumbered. Zeale was able to stay alive only through the assistance of Xavier who would deflect a blaster shot for her every once in awhile. Finally Xavier was struck down by stray fire and before he could collapse one of the droids cut off his right leg. Looking at her love interest on the ground Zeale flew into a self-caused fury as she berated herself for making Xavier come into this place without reinforcements. Zeale unleashed a form of force lightning that was unstable and uncontrolled, but enough to destroy more than 3/4 of the machinery. After that the owners surrendered not expecting to be pitted against Sith. Mere moments after the situation dissolved Xavier awoke and called for assistance. When Zeale arrive he commented on the change he saw in her. Zeale had tasted the dark side, but seeing Xavier alive made her throw away any chances of her pursuing that burst of power. This assignment would vault Zeale fully into the Jedi Order.
Now 29 Zeale had only been a Jedi Master for half a year. A few weeks after the assignment with Xavier, who had gained a mechanic leg and was now an accomplished member of the Order, Zeale denounced her own feelings as infatuation and moved on with her duties. Zeale had moved to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine where she had successfully taken on a Padawan and watched him become a full member of the Jedi Order. Her name had once come up for a possible nomination for the council, but the idea was quickly dismissed. When she asked her former master, Xavier, about the matter he replied that she was too spirited to fall under the council’s strict ways. It was just her personality and the way she made decisions that canceled out any possible nomination for the council. Xavier also commented that she would probably have to gain much more control over her own connection with the force to become a member. Zeale didn’t disagree and left her former master on Dantooine to return to Coruscant where she would hopefully become more active in the efforts to stop the Sith that was facing the Republic today.

Sample: Zeale watched Xavier take up the bottle and then put it down after taking a few gulps. She smiled in reaction to his initial grin. She had been around as Xavier continued to lead a happy life away from the action that was involved with assignments and confined himself to training Padawans on Dantooine. Even with the mechanic leg he could probably still show her a couple tricks. In fact Zeale could almost put money down that he created an entirely new fighting style for the leg.
You sure you don’t want any of this Ebla Beer? I swear it is the greatest you’ll find around.
Zeale shook her head and she watched him take another gulp.
No offense, but you look lonely with that little cup there.
Xavier matched up the bottle with her cup of Dianogan Tea.
I wouldn’t concern myself with what I’m drinking, but rather how much you’re drinking.
Xavier looked at his bottle.
What are you trying to say?
Nothing, just know that it won’t be me stumbling out of here later on.
Of course the Master laughed as he took another gulp.
So I wanted to ask you why do you think the Council dismissed my possibility of becoming a member?
Don’t you think it was entirely too early to begin with? I mean you only just became a Jedi.
But still, they dismissed my candidacy so quickly…
One shouldn’t want too much authority, it will lead to the darkside.
Xavier waved his finger in front of her tauntingly and she knocked it away with a smile.
I’m serious, answer my question…
Well to tell you the truth, on a scale of 1 to 10 you’re about a 6.
What the blazes are you talking about?
Xavier took another portion of his Elba Beer and then looked at her dead in the eyes.
I’ll explain it using people, 1 and you’re Jolee Bindo, 10 and you’re Master Vrook. The council wants 8, 9, and 10s to sit around them.
That seems kind of stingy to only let those strict people like that become members.
Hey the way I see it they are just making it so they only debate with people who have relatively the same mindset. There may be the occasional outstanding view, but for the most part they will come to decisions faster since they all are thinking along the same lines.
Hrm…
Zeale took another sip of her tea as she thought about her former master’s words.
Oh come on, they haven’t steered us wrong in a long time, being a Council Member isn’t “that” important is it?
Zeale laughed as Xavier continued to keep the mood light, her kind of mood.
No I guess not…
