Bio:
Jade and his twin sister, Aunna, were born on the planet of Corellia to a primarily military family. Their father had recently been promoted to the rank of Major in the navy, their grandfather was a retired General of the Army, and several cousins had also joined the armed forces by the time they were born. As one would expect, this had a great impact on the lives of the twins as they grew up. Early on, their father and grandfather regaled them with stories of combat and military life, daily life was highly structured, meals and events were always prompt and scheduled, and no form of disrespect was tolerated. By their third birthdays the twins were sent to be tested for midichlorian counts, something that was not common for the family, but due to the children’s seemingly impeccable 'sixth sense' they were tested. Unfortunately...or perhaps fortunately...neither child had a high enough count to be accepted into the Jedi ranks, though the midiclorians in their blood were significantly higher than most. However, this meant little because Jade, already cunning for his age and not wanting to become a jedi but enter the military, had managed to exchange his and his sister's blood samples for another blood sample of a far lower count (by pure luck), successfully keeping his and Aunna's jedi worthy midichlorian count a secret. By five, the twins were already attending a school their father had attended where they were taught leadership skills, as well as the basics of the military's history, along with science, math, reading, and other such skills one would expect any child to learn.
As they neared the age of ten, the twins became...if possible...more connected with one another, causing all kinds of havoc within their classes due to their insatiable curiosity. At all times, it seemed as if one or both of the children had their nose in a book, were experimenting with various objects and chemicals, or asking seemingly never ending questions. During this time Aunna and Jade began the annoying habit of ending one another's sentences. As age 17 approached, the twins were assigned posts on different military cruisers, because of their father’s wish to maintain a military family. Here they were to observe and train with the men and women stationed on the cruisers. It was at this time in their lives that Jade flourished, but Aunna had a more difficult time. As his sister set about training on the cruiser "Leviathan", Jade found that he could learn the ins and outs of the navy more swiftly than most others, earning his first promotion only a year after he had joined. Upon his first promotion, Jade was re-stationed on Coruscant for flight training. Thrilled by the idea, the young man studied and practiced for nearly a year to learn all there was about piloting not only starfighters, but heavy cruisers as well. Upon finishing training, Jade was granted a position on the 'Leviathan' as a pilot along with his still struggling sister. After gaining yet another rank, his sister left the navy to go into the army.
Jade found it easy to climb the ranks, and his XO and Captain noted that he was one of the most dedicated subordinates they had. Once achieving the rank of Petty Officer, Jade was transferred to a new ship christened "Sojourn." It was here that the now 21 year old was given officers training by request of his captain, who felt the young man had great potential. His mentor during this training was retired army Colonel Vance Hota. Vance had a great impact on the young man's life and the two were often seen in deep conversation about science, philosophy, and morals during off hours. It was because of this that Jade soon earned the title of 'Colonel' amongst his peers and even some of the higher ranked officers. As various skirmishes started to break out among the space lanes and planets, Jade, Colonel Vance and a few others were often sent down to the surface of planets to investigate what military presence might be required, giving the 21 year old a chance to train in combat with Vance, who decided it was best to impart his knowledge of the Army's tactics and knowledge with him so he could better work with the various platoons being stationed throughout the galaxy.
During one of these away missions, Colonel Vance was mortally injured by a piece of shrapnel to the chest from an explosion. Jade, though not mortally injured, was nearly blinded by the near by explosion, his eyes being damaged by the heat and light from the blast. Upon reaching the Sojourn, Jade was rushed to surgery, and then the kolto tank on board. He healed surprisingly swiftly with very little damage to his actual sight, however his eyes had an odd reaction to the kolto mixture and the previous stress of the explosion, the irises turning a menacing shade of red. Upon release from the kolto treatment, he was taken back to Coruscant where the military doctors advised him to wear glasses...not for lack of sight as he seemed to have the same vision as previous to the explosion, but more for protection from UV rays and foreign particles that would irritate his more sensitive eyes.
The years continued and Jade continued to climb the ranking ladder, using his uncanny knack for telling when there would be trouble, and how to get out of it, or avoid it altogether. It wasn't until he had reached the rank of captain through diligent service that he truly began to turn heads in the military. Receiving command of his own Hammerhead class heavy cruiser, "Olympus", Jade's first assignment was to aid his sister on Mygeeto with a "rather nasty infestation of dark jedi" as he put it. This deployment was what turned the tide of the escalating battle, and it was his drop of fresh troops and a small squad of star fighters that won the day. His next assignment was to oversee negotiations between Neimoidian traders, and the Devaronians, who had been blockaded. The females of the planet were furious and it seemed that conflict was inevitable, however, Jade refused to allow such a thing to happen. Having learned quite a bit of both Neimoidian and Devaronian culture, he managed to talk the Neimoidians out of blockading Devaron and the Devaronians out of the battle they were gearing up for, earning him a few nods of approval from his superiors. During this mission, he found himself taking on a Devaronian male named Kuuto Sorivo and a female with an unusual wanderlust who simply went by Veera. He used their knowledge of the various backwater planets and races they had visited during their travels to aid him in negotiations, and their experience in combat and 'information gathering' in assessing planet side military situations. It also didn't hurt that they were two of the few legal mercenaries in the galaxy. It was these strings of 'good luck' and rumors of so called 'corpse hunting' that Jade earned the title of 'Necromancer' for what some considered an 'evil ability to make the dead tell their secrets' so he could win the battles he got into. Jade did nothing to squash the rumors, having always had a rather morbid sense of humor.
After a particularly sticky situation in the space lanes near the trade spine with a rather large group of space pirates that he got any real attention. Now due back for upgrades to the Olympus, a 29 year old Jade returned to Coruscant. Upon being questioned about the incident and how the ship had escaped with 'barely a scratch' on it from the skirmish, Jade would shrug and state that it was due to "gut instincts." During his physical, the doctors not only tested his blood for typical diseases and maladies, but midichlorian count...they were surprised to find that it was high enough to have been a ranking jedi. Contacting the Council and the Military Superiors, it was decided that Jade was too old to be trained as a jedi and no exception would be made. Confronted about the midichlorian count, Jade was informed that he would be receiving 'special training' and given new orders once it was completed.
For the next year Jade not only received the rank of Commodore, but was trained sporadically by various jedi knights and masters in mental shielding, slight force sensing such as: sensing hostile intentions, feeling other force users, and a heightened awareness of what was going on around him. After he had mastered these things as much as the jedi council would allow, 30 year old Jade and the Olympus were recalled to Coruscant where he would receive his final orders from the Republic Navy. Taking the Olympus to Onderon, Jade Kuuto and Veera disembarked. Upon entering Iziz it didn't take long for them to find what they were after...in fact, the hunters became the hunted it seemed. A dark jedi ambassador from the sith to the world met with the group not long after they arrived. Dismissing Kuuto and Veera, Jade and the sith ambassador spoke for quite a while. The discussion ended in Jade handing his badge over to Veera and telling the two to return to the Olympus with orders to return to Coruscant and give the badge to his former superiors.
Since that date Jade has been instated as a Rear Admiral in the Sith Navy, and put in command of the Centurion-class battlecruiser " Pendragon."

Aunna had stayed up for nearly two days straight working filling out paperwork dealing with the bombing of the republic base, and finally there was only a small stack sitting before her. Perhaps there was an end to all of this paperwork after all? The major, tired and stressed as she was, had dutifully answered all calls from HQ, despite knowing they would all be complaints, and had even managed to conduct them with some form of dignity. It was now approximately 23:00 on the second day and her communications system chimed again. Groaning slightly, she straightened her hair slightly bey combing through it with her fingers, and pressed the button to answer. Looking at the screen, she blinked at the sight of her brother.
Jade?
He smiled slightly and pushed his glasses up his nose slightly, red eyes seeming to search her for a reaction. She sat up slightly and blinked at him again, pulling her reading glasses off and holding them in her hand lightly as she waited for some kind of reply. Something wasn't right...Jade had never called her this late, and he rarely looked like he was hiding something....which he did at that moment.
Good evening Aunna. It seems you're doing decently...a bit frazzled perhaps, but decently enough.
I suppose....though 'frazzled' isn't the word I'd use for what I am right now...it's far to nice.
Jade simply chuckled and shook his head slightly. How was he supposed to break this kind of news to his sister? There had been so many things he'd not told her before...switching his blood sample for the midichlorian test, the fact that he'd seen their uncle murdered....but there had been so much he HAD told her. Things he'd not told anyone else, and never would...the way he'd not felt any remorse at the first life he'd taken, the procedure he'd had done on his eyes -though that one was a bit obvious-, the child he'd fathered, the various tests he'd preformed on corpses of animals when they were young....to hide this from his sister was the most difficult thing for him to do. He could tell, by the way she eyed him cautiously, nervously almost, that Aunna knew something was wrong.
Aunna, I'm sure you must have guessed by now, but there's something important I must tell you....and you must swear not to tell anyone.
She blinked at him, not stunned at his words, but rather in a manner that asked if she really wanted to know...and that she was slowly preparing herself for whatever bomb he might drop on her. Folding her glasses, and holding them in her hand, she rested her arms on the table before her and sighed...a well known sign to both of them that she was as prepared as she could ever be for what he was about to say. Jade sighed slightly and pushed his glasses up his nose once more, thinking of how best to tell her what he had to say. Deciding there was no way to sugar coat the information, he folded his hands before him and held her gaze through the screen.
I'm leaving the Republic Military, Aunna...
Sighing, she chuckled and shook her head, looking relieved.
...For the Sith military.
Immediately her demeanor changed as a long string of curses ensued as she stood, slamming her hands down on the desk she had been sitting at, in the process breaking her glasses and upsetting the chair she'd been sitting in. Seemingly unphased, Jade sat quietly until she managed to calm herself enough to end the torrent of words and simply glare at him in a vulture like manner, her head hanging between her shoulder blades as she leaned against the desk.
Just WHY are you going to do this Jade? Did it ever occur to you that we'll have to be fighting AGAINST each other, rather than WITH each other?!
Yes. Of course it has.
Then WHY?! Jade, g'dammit! You can't expect me to believe this! If this is some kind of twisted joke, you'd better cut it out now before I go AWOL long enough to kill you myself!
He sighed heavily, but other than that, showed no sign of the inner turmoil he was going through. Shaking his head, Jade shrugged slightly and forced a smirk to his face.
I assure you I'm not joking, Aunna. As for why...I'd rather be on the winning side, and you know this. Besides, I've been offered quite a few perks by the Sith military if I join them.
She was still standing there, bristling and giving him that vulture look she was so well known for, however, as he finished his little speech he turned his eyes away to keep from watching her deflate. Of all things she could have done, that was the worst.
I see. Well then....I wish you luck Jade. But I warn you...do not contact me again, and pray that you don't meet me on the battlefield....I won't hold back just because we're related by blood.
Borgonia Out.
With that, the transmission was cut. Aunna righted the chair and sank into it, her face in her hands, the tears she'd been holding back for so long no longer able to be kept at bay. Jade, on the other hand, sat back in his seat and glared up at the ceiling. Why had it been him?
