Jeh'rad walked out of his ship. He was dizzy from the crash landing. He looked about as he walked. It was a ratherdesolate area of Nar Shada... Yet he still felt the life that surrounded him. He decided to close his eyes and walk in blindness for a moment.
Not good.
Jeh'rad felt the ground disappear under him as he let out a single scream and opened his eyes to face the major gap in the landing platform he had not seen. Below him was nothing but darkness.
Jeh'rad considered using the force to make him levtitate, but he had always wanted to see the buttom of nar Shada...
After falling for over 5 minutes he was getting a bit impatient, but then he saw something. It was a shoe that was falling upwards.
"Nooo! It passedme again! Damn it! " - the voice was that of an old man. Jeh'rad looked down and saw something he did not believe. An old man was also "falling down" here. Jeh'rad used the force to get to him.
"What are you doing here old man?! Was that your shoe, and why is it falling upwards?!"
" I can't believe it! Another living being! Praise the force!
Uh, where are my manners.. I am... Uh, I seem to have forgotten. It's not like I get to use my name a lot around here. And about the shoe.. Somehow i lost it on the other side, and then it fell down when I was falling the other direction... You see?"
"What are you talking about, are you crazy? How long have you been here?"
"I have been falling for over 50 years. Since I was a young man... I tihnk I stopped countinga few years ago.. I am not crazy! "
Jeh'rad shook his head.
"What do you mean by the other side? "
"well, it seems that there is a hole through the entire planet that you can fall through. As you fall, you get enough power to make it all the wa up to level 34... And then fall all the way back down again."
Jeh'rads eyes grew wide.
"I have to see this with my own eyes.."
And so he did. It was a weird experience at first. Jeh'rad looked around. everyone on the other side seemed... Shorter. Also, they spoke a weird language, and their eyes were oddly pointed, and their skin seemed yellow. Everywhere he looked, he saw eggrolls, straw hats, martial arts trainings facilities, and street vendors. He counted many woman as he fell/flew, yet throguh the force, he felt only a few... Jeh'rad didn't think more on that subject.
"How did you survive this long?!"
"there is a 24/7 grill further above, usually, I just grab something from the fly-in!... i can tell you, that food gives you an uneasy stommack! "
"Ach! You really didn't have to share that with me!"
"oh well, time for me to sleep... Wake me up when we get near my shoe... ZZZZZZzzzZZZzzZZZZzzzzZZZZZzzz"
Jeh'rad shook his head, this was absurd. Maybe he was dead? Maybe this was a dream. A death dream... Or a vision he was having, while falling... In that case he was sure to die soon...
What had he been smoking?
