Space lanes, above nar shadda

The blockade runner entered the space above Nar Shadda for one reason... protection and refuge. It was a place you could get lost in.

After leaving iziz so quickly with the security detail all over them Ramseye and his Dark jedi followers had looked for the closest refuge they could find.. and this was it. And perhaps while he was here he could enter into a dark trance as he was taught way back with Kenneth, and then possibly he could link up with him.. or converse with him through the force.. all of this was still a little complicated.. but he'd still try.

In the end, this plan seemed like a good one. He could hide out for a few days, and at the same time try to establish contact with Darth Paxis. The darkness was growing in the galaxy and he was wondering why he didn't know as much as he should.

However.. the lack of his knowlegde would soon prove trivial, for he would eventually know, and thus it was inevitable, that Ramseye would once again hold the galaxy in his grasp.. but for now, he was satisfied with controling and guiding the Dark followers that were currently in the back of his Blockade runner.

AS he entered the area, he sent out a beacon for sith war ships.. who knew if they were out here. If they were, he could get some supplies and perhaps find out some news. However, this all was relying upon the hope that there was indeed a sith warship, or group of flotillas in space above or near the planet. After he was armed with news, he would certainly dissappear into the crowds... but first he needed an update. And so he waited.. and waited until finally there would be a response.

It hadn't been long since the pirate raid on the Hutt controlled lanes, so the Pendragon was still limping slightly as the crew had set about repairs. The hulking mass of the centurion-class cruiser easily overshadowed the other ships in the lanes. It was in this condition that Jade had ordered the ship to be on full alert. When a beacon signal had managed to reach the ship, the officers on deck were surprised, and more than a little wary, to hear that it was calling for any Sith war-ships in the area.

Jade had been immediately notified.

Not taking any chances, the red eyed commander ordered shields to be brought up, and weapons at standby. He didn't feel as if the signal were a threat, but...better safe than sorry.

This is Rear Admiral Jade Borgonia of the Pendragon, we've received your signal, identify yourself and state your business with us.

He stated, transmitting the signal back through the beacon to the ship that left it. They were hiding somewhere in the lanes, he just didn't know where yet...

The message came in shortly after.. and it was a very good one. Ramseye had been hoping that no republic ships or destroyers were in the area. His wish was granted. The message was decoded, and then relayed over the comms aboard the blockade runner.

"This is Rear Admiral Jade Borgonia of the Pendragon, we've received your signal, identify yourself and state your business with us."

Ramseye coughed a little then after itching his stuble under his chin, he pressed the reply button, which noc connected him to the com network being sent by the Pendragon.

"Greetings, Rear- Admiral Borgonia. It is a pleasure to make your aquaintance. I am Ramseye Novok, Prince to the Novok family of Carida. I am a dark knight, and the vangaurd of your dismay. In your terms, I'm ranked as a lieutenant. However, given the training that I posess I'd prefer the epithet Commander." Ramseye let that all soak in before he continued.

"My business here however has many definitions. Being as we are on the same side... I could be here as a blessing to you or on the flip side, you may be here as a blessing to me. I need information. Something is going on in the depths of space, something regarding the sith.. and I'm being left out. Normally this would not be the case, for my master knows all, and is 'all', and thus so should I. So... what i am saying, Borgonia, is that I need an update, and perhaps some supplies. Request to come aboard?"

Jade rolled his eyes at the message and sighed silently. Sunomi, who was uncommonly absent from the bridge, would most likely have died laughing at this "dark knight's" pompous attitude...or at least he could imagine it of her, though perhaps that was just what he felt like doing? With a silent motion, he signaled for the ship to be verified and scanned.

Well Commander...

Jade replied, sarcasm dripping from his voice like poison.

...I prefer the epithet Necromancer or my formal title of Rear Admiral.

Dark Knight or not, he wouldn't be walked on in such a manner.

You have permission to land pending on the fact that we receive your "master's" name or title. I'm afraid we must have some verification of who you are. Protocol you understand...

He stated simply, allowing his calm tone, now devoid of sarcasm, convey the true sarcasm of the statement. It was truth after all...one couldn't just allow random dark jedi to board one's ship at on a whim.

Sunomi rubbed her temples as she once more watched the young blue twi'lek Kelan rake in the mound of credits before here. "I swear your cheating again, kelan" the hulking mass of the mustafarian Tomka said the translator he wore whining with the tinny of a electronic device. Kelan's pout would have been far more convincing with out the half smirk that came with it.
"Wha, me? no, of course I wouldn't cheat." The massive arthopod stood up. "Why I-" Sunomi finally decided to jump in at this point. "settle down Tomka technically she didn't cheat." Sunomi stood and stretched "I'm going to go to the bridge you all know the drill." as she left the cabin she just caught Kelan shout out after her. "Oh, capt'n going to see her boy-fr-Ouch! To-" Sunomi just shook her head as she headed down the clean corridors and finally stepping into the turbolift and watching the doors hiss closed. She crossed her arms over her breast and leaned back against the far wall of the turbo lift as it made it's way up. She could here a little of the transmition though the walls of the turbolift, finally caching just jades reply to whatever the message was from. "Masters? what are you up to jade" she said with a smile as she walked up behind the rear-admiral and caught him in a tight bear hug from behind.

What ever Jade had been expecting when he heard Sunomi's question...this had not been it. Upon being hugged from behind, the already straight backed admiral stiffened even more, fighting the urge to push the woman away and look completely awkward at the same time. No...instead he opted for choice two...glaring daggers at the few men on the bridge who snickered or smirked, then turning his head toward Sunomi, one eyebrow raised and an impish smile on his face.

Captain? Me? Up to something? If anyone is up to something, it's you...perhaps looking for a good place to stick a vibroblade?

He teased. Only after he'd said it did he realize just how poorly that choice of words had come out. Oh dear, he was in for it now, he was sure. His eyes widened slightly in shock and he seemed to recoil a bit, a flash of an apologetic look coming to his face before disappearing behind his mask once more. Clearing his throat, Jade remained stock still, trying to get his mind to focus. Now he realized why he'd not allowed himself to get close to anyone...again.

There seems to be a dark jedi called Ramseye running around the space lane looking for sith war ships to restock on...he says he's one of ours....

He informed her, his voice seeming much more controlled than normal.

By the way...I'm sorry...that joke came out wrong Sunomi...

He added in an undertone so that only she could hear.

Sunomi smiled at his expression matching his impish grin with one of her own. As he finished his joke sunomi taking it as nothing more opened her mouth to reply when the remorseful look flashed across his face and he slipped into a very ridged tone as he told her about the Dark jedi and then quietly apologized to her. She spoke loudly at first as she replied. "I can tell you the empire has no, fallen jedi in our ranks jade. I will have to put my troops on alert." she finally let her arms unwrap from around him as just before she leaned for ward to speak in his ear. "As for the second part I took it just as a joke, besides" she began as she let a little humor slip into her voice. "It would be a shame to mar such a pretty man with a scar though I might know a few things I'd like to do with you." she finished with a wink and readied herself to leave and tell her men, but not before she saw his reaction.

Jade blinked slightly, eying her out of the corners of his eyes as she spoke...at least she had taken his humor the right way. Smirking slightly, he entertained the idea she had so casually let out for a moment, but swiftly shrugged it off as nonsense. No, he couldn't allow himself to get close to anyone...especially not now. Raising an eyebrow, he half nodded, half shrugged.

Too bad I already have a few scars of my own...what's one more?

He mused, debating on if he should reply to the second part of her statement. Deciding it was better for him to just not acknowledge it, he nodded to her, but as she left, he couldn't help but let his eyes wander over her slightly before he caught himself and forcibly returned his focus on the view port.

Ramseye novok heard the message and was slightly dissapointed. This Adimaral's attitude was quite arrogant, but that was fine. None of that mattered to him so long as he could board that ship, get some information, and get some supplies.

"You have permission to land pending on the fact that we receive your "master's" name or title. I'm afraid we must have some verification of who you are. Protocol you understand..." the message finished... and now it was Ramseye's turn to reply.

"My master is of really no concern, Necromancer. Just know that I'm a skilled knight of destruction. I'm willing to continue this conversation of who and what i am once i am aboard, being out here.... its not exactly asthetically pleasing." Ramseye made a small laugh, then continued "Perhaps you may have need of me, is there something you need assistance with? I do plan to Head to Nar shadda eventually."

If and when they scanned his ship they would find him as well as three other life forms aboard his ship... Though it was doubtful that they would recognize the fact that all of them aboard the blockade runner were dark jedi.

"Three aboard sir...they're requesting permission to land once more....what do we tell them?"

Jade weighed his options carefully for several moments. He didn't need another fight on his hands seeing as the Pendragon was still limping slightly, however, he couldn't just have at least one dark jedi running around his ship.

I'm afraid I can't comply until I know if you are indeed one of us or not, so far...things aren't matching up for you. Information I have very little of, but you are welcome to it via secure transmission, a few supplies can be spared, but only enough for you to make it planet side.

I'm afraid this is my last offer unless I can know the name of your master. If he is indeed one of the Sith Aristocracy, you may come aboard...if not I'm afraid that is all I can do for you. I'm sure you understand my position Commander. Orders are orders.

He stated calmly in reply.

Sunomi was in a serious mood when she barged in on the squads banter laden pazak game. "Everyone needs to suit up we way have a dark jedi boarding." she strolled over to her locker and took out her armor as her soldiers scrambled to their lockers.

Ramseye sat back laughing. This one, the Necromancer, knew how to push buttons. But it was entertaining. "I don't see the need for me to give out names. I assure you, i am not hostile, nor do i intend to harm someone who commands such a grand army, and a quite wonderful ship. You are not as interesting as others that are currently dormant in the galaxy. I am simply asking for an audience, as i said before, I am here to help you, and at the same time perhaps you could help me." Ramseye was starting to get irritated but he remembered his manners.

"Rear Admiral, If truly I am that much of a danger, then i understand, and I unfortunately will have to take your lesser offer. I'm well aware that there are men and women strutting about the galaxy causing mistrust in knights such as myself. For reasons I'm sure you can understand, I cannot give away freely my master's name over these comm channels, which is why once again, i request an audience. In private i have no problem explaining anything you wish to hear." Ramseye sighed. He really thought he was being kind to the man, offering assistance and promising not to cause any trouble whatsoever.

But then again, it was as Ramseye had said, if in fact, this man did not wish to see him, or felt Ramseye that much of a threat then he would do as intructed.

Jade nodded to his communications officer, giving the go ahead for admitting the ship. It was a risk, but...one didn't get places in the galaxy without risks now did they?

We're lowering shields Commander. I'll meet you in the hanger.

He stated, cutting the transmission. Pulling out his com-link as he stepped into the lift, he leaned against the wall lightly.

Sunomi...we have company. I'd like you to meet me in the hanger. Keep your men out of sight though...except perhaps one or two. I don't feel like testing the waters with this man any further...and he's not alone.

Sunomi was just latching her mask over her lower face when jade's transmission. "Copy Admiral." There was no sign of her earlier joking in her voice as she gathered all her men around her for their briefing "I've gotten conformation that the dark jedi are coming aboard." she looked at each over her men she didn't doubt their ability only weather the idea of non-force users were actually capable of taking jedi, but if any could they could. "Jade wants most of use to stay out of the way. Tomka, Rictor you'll enter with me. Bulc I want you to set up a patching station behind everyone except byonce and alinna you two will be waiting to enter the over head cat walk everyone clear?"

"Yes, Ma'am!"

They where rushing to catch up with jade finally catching up with him as the turbo lift's door opened.

Ramseye smiled as he heard the Admiral's words. "Good." Ramseye stood up and went to the back to tell his followers what was going on. then he returned and sped the ship in the direction of the warship.

AS the Blockade runner approached, the monitor displayed the hangar opening as well as the shields being lowered. Ramseye pulled lightly on the throttle, arcing the stick back, slowing the ship to a hover inside the hangar. it indeed was a very large ship, and perhaps there was more to it then met the eye.

Ramseye got a funny feeling as he walked to the back after setting the ship down, to lower the ramp. Something was tugging at him... something that made him feel.... watched. But that was ok. He had many skilled dark jedi aboard.. enough to commandeer this ship should there be a fight. But he promised not to... so hopefully, there would be no need.

Ramseye picked up his dark cloak, and covered his shoulders which were bare under the vest that covered his chest with ancient sith-looking marking scrawled about them. Then Ramseye doublechecked his saber, The saber of Exar Kun was still in his possession. It was nice to be amongst others... others that valued the war, the financial status of the sith, and the fight against the republic. It was nice to feel at home, but was he really at home?

As the ramp lowered and he stepped down, he crossed his gaze from wall to wall, stretching his awareness, and prodding the force for 'anomalies'. it seemed clear...for now. "Nice to see good men." He stated charmingly as he stepped down and onto the hangar bay floor. He waited patiently, as it seemed that his company was about to arrive.

Jade walked in silently, Sunomi at his side, as the blockade runner landed in the hangar. Red eyes wandered over the form that descended the ramp first, one eyebrow raising slightly as he watched the dark jedi look around. Coming to a halt before him, Jade nodded his head at the new comer, not bothering to offer any form of salute...he still wasn't sure about this man, and Jade wasn't sure he wanted to take the time to find out.

Good evening. Welcome aboard the Pendragon. I assume you're the one called Commander Ramseye?

He said...more of a statement than a question. He was being quite polite, but wary...very wary.

Sunomi and her two chosen followers marched in with sunomi and tomka on each side of jade with rictor following a few steps behind tomka. With there weapons locked and at half shoulder as they moved in. Sunomi was tense and having to force herself to take easy breaths as the Dark jedis entourage came off the ship. She gave a small hand signal to rictor to move off to tomka's side so he would have a clear line of fire as she watched tomka double check his machine gun. Waiting.

"Greetings, Admiral... or should i say, Necromancer." Ramseye bowed his head in respect, cleaving his arm inward to do a propper bow. "It is nice to meet you in person." Ramseye's awareness tingled a slight bit as he grew closer to the admiral But he put it aside for now... though he noted how weird it was. Ramseye's gaze drifted from side to side, searching the minds of those infront of him.. trying to grasp the gravity of the situation for which Admiral Borgonia had brough along these troopers... and thats exactly what they were. They reeked of mercenaries or hired hunters. Thier loyalty lay with who knows... but it did not matter. "hmm, so, lets get started." Ramseye nodded toward the corridor that linked the hangar to the rest of the ship trying to force nudge everyone that they should start their journey to a more 'sightly area' for a discussion that he was looking forward to.

Ramseye paced briskly closer, and then in the direction of the corridor before asking, "so, Necromancer, What has been going on in the galaxy, and what seems to be troubling you, your tense? it's palpable." Once again Ramseye really was trying to be curtious, as much as a noble prince- turned dark jedi could be.

Jade bowed his head slightly as the dark jedi addressed him. Typically, he would have struck out at the man, seeing him as a threat to his men and the galaxy, but...he forced himself to remember...he was no longer part of the Republic, so it was less likely that the man's intentions were to cause harm to his crew. As if sensing the man's probing for the answer to why Sunomi and the others were with him, Jade allowed himself a light chuckle.

Forgive the presence of the others...I am typically a wary man when it comes to Jedi and Dark Jedi alike, and more so now that I find myself in...a-typical...situations such as this. I'm sure you understand.

He stated casually, beginning to walk toward the meeting room not far down the hall. Something he'd had prepared for this specific meeting.

As for news...I'm afraid I don't have much to tell you. I'm still being...tested...for my trustworthiness. So, as I'm sure you can imagine...I'm not told much. Only what I need to know.
